"your highness!" "Your highness." She was being greeted.
Elizabeth was being accompanied by two of her personal maids into her room.
"Your bath is ready, your highness." Mira, one of her maids reported as she took off her cloak.
"Okay, you can both leave now."
"Yes, your highness." The two left the room, leaving Elizabeth all by herself.
Reaching for her hair ribbon, the door was suddenly being pushed open as the crown prince elegantly walked into the room
"Brother."
"Where have you been, Elizabeth? You almost got me panicking..."
"I have been with Peter all day long brother. Don't be delusional." She cuts him off.
"Prince Luke of Kenjda is at the palace. You can go see him now."
Elizabeth sighed before turning back around to carry her box on her bed.
"Brother, did you kill David?" She remembered what she had seen on her way back to the palace . She saw the body of David being eaten by crows and dogs in the gutter. She wondered why her brother had decided to kill one of his trusted allie.
"Yes I did."
"Why?"
"There are some things that are needed to be done dear sister. So David had to go for it."
"What about father?" She questioned again.
"You should think about prince Luke before your father, princess Elizabeth. You are going to marry him and leave your father in the palace."
"I don't care about the so called prince." She snapped at him, getting really irritated of his words against their father.
"He is your future husband,"
"The one you choose brother!" She cuts him off. "Not the one I choose. I care most about my father, who is the king of the land, than some so called prince. If he is tired of his stay, then he would perhaps leave. It's probably not my business."
She turned around and left the room.
"That little brat!"
*
"Father?" Elizabeth knocked on the door, and slightly opened the door to see if her father was inside the room.
"My dear princess."
She heard his deep but soft voice. She opened the room widely and ran to meet her father who was on the bed.
"Father, how are you feeling now?"
The old man smiles widely.
"Much better now, my princess."
"Do you need anything father?" She questioned worriedly because she was afraid her dear father might get more indisposed than this.
"No my dear princess. And besides I am feeling much better now, I can get anything myself if I need one."
Elizabeth slightly smiled at her father.
"Father, have brother stepped in here today?"
"Yes my dear. He came today to check on me. I am just grateful for the both of you for seeing after my health."
Elizabeth sighed.
"And i heard Prince Luke of Kenjda is here."
"Father, can you help me explain to brother that I don't like prince Luke."
"That you like Devan Ciel instead?"
Elizabeth bowed her head sadly.
"I will try to explain everything to him dear. I also realized you like Devan much more than you like every other men. Even I get jealous of Devan sometimes." He joked and Elizabeth chuckled. "But don't worry, I approve of yours and Devan's relationship, only of the kid likes you too. You know that kid can be rude at times."
"Thank you father." She hugged her father passionately.
**
"Lianthro!!"
The old dragon flew over the coast towards Devon. It stood in front of Devon and slightly bowed it's head.
"Great warrior, you summoned me."
"How can I get her back?"
"Why, great warrior?"
"She wants to go back and good news, I also want her to go back to her world."
"She can't go back."
"Why is that?"
"I told you young warrior, she is entrapped in this world. She won't be able to go back to her world, unless she conclude her mission."
"But she is useless. All she does around is to cry. I am afraid I am going to kill her one day."
"You cannot kill her great one. A young baby girl in the tiger moon cannot be killed by her betrothed. She is yours. But as I had asked before, what is your favor to her?"
*Back to the Royal palace*
Elizabeth headed to her room slowly. She was in her underwear, with her hair wet; which shows she had just finished bathing.
She sat on the bed, and went ahead to pick up her nightdress in the box.
"Um?" Her hand touched the extremely soft fabric.
She got it out and gasped loudly.
"The floral moon dress? This was specially picked by Devan."
A smile crept up her face as she brought the dress to herself.
"We must have accidentally exchanged it when we hit ourselves at the market. Um, should I call this fate?" She giggled. "If it is fate then, maybe I might like fate."
She looked at the dress one more time, before standing up on her feet to put in on.
"His highness, prince Luke of Kenjda." A soldier make known.
Elizabeth gasped as she quickly stood up on her feet, wondering why prince Luke had decided to come to her chamber instead.
The prince knocked on the door softly. She wondered if she should ask him to come in or not.
The knock came again and this time, she had no choice but to say, "Come in!"
The door opened, as a young pale man with a small beard shows himself to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth swallowed a lump, as she slightly bowed to him.
"Good evening, your highness."
He slowly walked in with a smile on his face."
He then closed the door jolting Elizabeth off.
"Y..your highness? What do I..."
"Princess Elizabeth?"
She lifts up her head to look at him.
"You didn't come see me today, and that got me sad, dear."
"I am sorry I could not your highness."
"I understand." She felt his hand on her hair. She quickly moved away from him in a polite way.
"I just came here to see my future wife before I head back to Kenjda tomorrow."
"Yes your highness."
"Why don't you call me Luke. I think I will like it when you call me with my actual name, and not your highness."
He grinned. Elizabeth slowly lifts up her head to look at his eyes. There are just so many different between him and Devan.
