??? POV:
I have been living in this place for a good few years since I escaped that hellish life, I can't even image what would've happened if they found out that she wasn't actually his. Oh well, at least I finally have a life where I can decide what I want to do with it.
"Are you coming, Alisabeth? We've got a very important party to attend to remember" Vlad wasn't exactly the man I had expected to have fallen for, but he knew how to whoo me so I'm rather hooked for the time being. Even with this rather revealing black dress, professionally done makeup and gorgeous jewellery I just know he won't stop staring at me.
"I'm coming!" I yelled taking one last good look at myself, long curly blonde hair, and emerald green eyes along with smooth beige skin. I emerged out of the bathroom, as he stood there adjusting his tie dressed in good attire before spotting me in the dress he bought me. I saw his eyes ogle my body biting the bottom of his lip.
"I knew you'd look stunning in it, but I didn't expect this. It makes me want to throw you over my shoulder and punish you for looking so provocative" Vlad flirted walking towards me as his hands grabbed my waist pulling me in and kissed my lips. "Delicious as always" he says with a cheeky grin and slowly moved his head near my neck and gently kissed it a few times before pulling back. "We should be going or we'll miss the party" he grabbed my hand and guided me out to the car that waited for us as we got inside, belted in for safety until it started to drive off. The location of where this party was being hosted remained unknown, as this city is still all new to me so I'm glad Vlad offered to help when he did or l'll be lost without him.
We arrived at a huge mansion like place, filled with lights, music and other guests who are dressed in rather dashing clothing, but I guess that won't be a problem for Vlad and myself.
"Wait right there" Vlad instructed as he got out and made his way around the other side of the car and opened the door for me, he had a hand held out as I took it not exactly use to such treatment before it felt like a dream. I got out and instantly some of the guest's eyes were on me along with my body in this gorgeous dress, I was already starting to feel Vlad's jealousy slowly starting to manifest.
"No need to feel jelly dear. You'll always be my one and only" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek as he shut the car door allowing us to finally head inside, where the huge ballroom was located along with all guests who chose to attend tonight's party. Everything was so professionally decorated reminding me of the huge parties we use to pull back home, such fun times.
However, not even halfway in the party I had been introduced to Vlad's friends, including the Fenton family including their new addition Blaire who was carrying possibly their first grandchild, but why does she seem so familiar like I've met her before?
"Good afternoon Fentons, this is my beautiful mistress Alisabeth" Vlad announced to the family as I stood there beside him staying on my eat behaviour, but my attention couldn't help noticing that girl. I need to know who she is.
"It's lovely to meet you, I got to say I absolutely adore your dress" Madeline said and shook my hand even though I am fully aware of who these people are, Vlad doesn't stop talking about them.
"He hasn't stopped bickering about your guys for weeks, I'm glad to have finally met you all" I replied sounding as nice as I possibly can around them, even with this pregnant girl who appeared completely uninterested in me. "What about them? Aren't they apart of your group, right?" I peered over the two as they glanced over noticing them and instantly turned back as I waited for an explanation.
"Oh them, well yes. That's Dan and his girlfriend Blaire, but sometimes we hear her dad whenever he use to come round call her Devina or starlight. He's an absolute sweetheart" Madeline explained causing my stomach to turn when heard that one name in particular, even Vlad was shocked. He turned and apologised before pulling me aside where none of them could hear us.
"By your expression back there you seemed to know Blaire, but I want you to ignore what she had said about her. I only want us to have some fun, okay?" Vlad appeared panicked thinking I had some sort of bad relationship with the girl, but it isn't like that at all or at least I think. She is dangerous, just like her father and I allowed her to exist. She is now pregnant soon to repopulate whatever sick species that could end all humanity if they wanted.
"No.. I don't have any issues with them. I'm just shocked to have met them after so long, I do wish to know more and see how they've been for the past few years we've been apart" I made up an excuse tricking him so easily as he eased down with a sigh of relief, allowing me to put on a fake smile and walked back over and introduce myself to this 'lovely couple'.
No one's POV:
Alisabeth walked over and stopped behind them as Blaire who wore a beautiful tight knee high black dress, revealing her very obvious 5 month old baby bump, turning after sensing their presence instantly putting on a gentle smile.
"You're Blaire correct?" Alisabeth questioned looking her up and down for a second completely ignoring Dan's presence entirely, as he remained closely behind his lover.
"That is me. Why do you ask?" Blaire responded raising an eyebrow at the random woman and touched her own stomach feeling the unborn child slowly moving around inside.
"I'm Alisabeth, Vlad's new mistress. I only wanted to introduce myself and hopefully become acquainted" introducing herself respectfully while remaining friendly in order to know more about her new friends. Blaire was a little cautious knowing how Vlad can be sometimes, but being friends with his lover isn't exactly the image she wanted.
"Sorry, we're not interested lady" Dan replied sternly and pulled Blaire away, causing Alisabeth to narrow her eyes at them.
"I really don't like that man, he's clearly has that poor little woman against her will, but why do I hold a grudge towards her? She seems nice" Alisabeth thought watching the two fade away into the crowd making it hard for her to find them, but she needs answers.
"What was that about?" Blaire questioned and yanked her wrist from his grasp glaring up at Dan who sighed having his back faced towards her. "You're being very rude, look at me when we're talking or I'm going back" she threatened knowing full well that he hates it when she's around anyone possibly a nuisance or something dangerous. Especially when it includes Vlad. He suddenly spun around with clenched fists controlling whatever anger he held towards her words, his gaze kept shifting clearly hating it when they argue like this. It hurts them.
"You can't trust her! I can sense a bad aura around her, she clearly has something towards you and is trying to trick us into trusting her to do it!" He was visibly concerned for her own wellbeing not only the child's. His face said it all leaving her rather shocked to hear and see this side of him, such concern, anger and fear mixed into one.
"I-I.. Are you sure?" Blaire asked with a little stutter as Dan eyes glanced up immediately noticing that woman staring at them from afar, her glare was as cold as ice and refused to look away. "What are you-?" She turned around noticing Alisabeth standing there afar staring at them feeling that same intensity Dan is feeling, quickly making this fun afternoon a tragedy.
"Of course I'm sure! Why else would I be keeping you away from that crazy lady? It's pretty clear she's up to something" Dan kept to his word and pulled Blaire away again and say her down at their table, but no matter they went Alisabeth was always around somewhere watching them.
"You don't think she likes you or something?" Blaire questioned anxiously touching her arm of the thought of this lady wanting to take him away from her, but hearing Dan almost throw up made it pretty clear he had no interest whatsoever in that woman.
"For the last time I will never pick anyone else over you. Don't make me fly us back home because I will" he turned back at her sounding very serious even if he too wanted to leave, but that would be breaking a promise they made to his sister Jasmine.
"I wish we could..." Blaire turned her head away narrowing her eyes averting eye contact with him or anything around them. "This place isn't big enough for all these guests, they're getting far too close into my personal space. One of them even allowed my back" she confessed when touching her ache in the side of her back, Dan suddenly shot in slamming his hands against the stable startling Blaire causing her to jump and look up at him. His face showed it all, the anger in those blue eyes and frown on those handsome soft lips.
"Who?" Dan growled spotting her startled face he tried to calm himself down, but justice has to be served even if she doesn't know exactly who bumped into her. People nearby stared from afar expecting a good argument, but not in the way they wanted to happen.
"Please sit back down, people are starting to stare at us" Blaire whispered holding her stomach with one hand, as he huffed sitting back down crossing his hands and leaned back like a child. She sighed with relief and calmed down allowing that additional pressure to ease away.
Later on that night as the party progressed Blaire and Dan separated themselves, as she went with Jasmine to stop him from panicking about her and the baby.
"So he really doesn't like Alisabeth? How come? She seems like a very nice person" Jasmine asked wanting a more information about the situation and why Dan was so triggered over one person, but for once it wasn't about Vlad. "It better not because she's going out with Vlad, is it?" She asked again sounding far more serious putting both hands against her waists interrogation Blaire.
"Well.. When we first met her it was all nice, but there was something about her that caused him to pull me aside. He said she had a bad aura like Alisabeth had some resentment towards me" Blaire explained appearing just as confused as Jasmine staring at each other completely oblivious of the fact that they were secretly being watched.
"That's weird.." Jasmine was stuck not exactly seeing the whole picture like her brother could, but she was glad to find out what has been bothering him.
However, plans soon changed when Blaire walked off on her own to the nearest toilet. After washing up she walked back out, just to be grabbed unexpectedly by her arm and dragged away to an isolated part of the manor.
"H-hey! Let me go" she yelled yanking her arms away to see the face of their capture, it was no one other than Alisabeth herself and she appeared concerned.
"Do not panic, I do not wish to harm you. I only want to have a simple chat with you is all" she said immediately explaining herself with a hand on their chest allowing Blaire to see the room she was dragged into. It was a large library filled with endlessly amounts of books for her to grab, far more decorated and maintained compared to Vlad's dust collections.
"I guess a little chat won't hurt" Blaire agreed and sat down on one of the library sofas with them for a bit. "So what did you want to talk about? We don't exactly know each other, but your scent is somewhat familiar to me" she honestly questioned being just as puzzled as Alisabeth who cautiously sniffed herself, hoping she didn't exactly smell bad despite wearing very expensive perfume.
"It'll be better if I just show you myself" Alisabeth got up and distanced themself safely from the sofa. She stood there facing towards Blaire until unexpectedly transforming, then it finally hit her. No one could ever forget that beautiful smooth Snow white skin, ocean blue sparkling eyes sending anyone straight into a love daze crazy, that elegant flowing long golden yellow hair that glistened to any light that dared to touch it, and 2 set of breathtakingly dangerously looking white curved horns.
"Wait a goddamn minute?!" Blaire jumped off and over the sofa hiding directly behind it as if protecting herself from an attacker, but luckily that was no longer the case. "This is one sick trick you're trying to pull, but it won't work on me this time!" She yelled pointing at Alisabeth who took the form of her mother, but little did she know that this woman was actually her real mother.
"I rest assure Devina it is I your mother. If you want I can prove it? We both know only I'm capable of doing such an ability no creature can ever pull off without burning to a crisp from the inside" Alisabeth was confident to show proof while Blaire remained protected behind the sofa as she silently observed. "Alright, here I go" she quietly muttered moving her hands close together, until they were several centimetres apart leaving a gap for something to appear within the centre. Suddenly the centre of her chest started to glow a light blue as it crackled and spread across their body, like magma revealing their skeleton from the inside that remained ineffective like their core and organs who were used to such dangerously high temperatures. Finally after minutes Alisabeth or other know as Dione made a glowing light blue magma ball and instantly cooled it down revealing it to be a fully formed, round and soft glass sphere. "Do you believe me now?" Dione calmly asked holding it out for Blaire to have as some sort of gift, brining the lady out from hiding and touching the oddly cold, smooth glass sphere.
"I.. How?" Blaire confusingly glanced up from the sphere wanting more answers making her sigh sitting them down and started to explain.
"You didn't exactly kill me.. I am half demon half ghost after all, therefore I can come back to life as long as my one of my souls remain intact. You only took one leaving me with one life left, but I will find the one responsible for your uncontrollable rampage my sweet" Dione replied placing a hand on Blaire's lap in a supportive manner, knowing life must've been rough after losing the one mother she cherished.
"Why didn't you tell me my real father was half dragon?" Blaire randomly asked causing Dione to pause completely baffled of such a bold question.
"I-.. I don't really want to talk about that right now, but you should head back to the party. Your boyfriend is probably searching for you" Dione replied turning back to her human disguise, and parted ways with one of her own offspring's for now after almost an hour of endless conversations.
Emerging harmless and a little confused thinking about Dione's reaction when mentioning her real father, as she entered into the ball she was instantly hugged by Jasmine as if she hasn't seen her in days. Blaire looked over spotting a grumpy Dan stomping over, as a surge of nervous emotions began to spiral knowing she was in some serious trouble.
"Where were you?! We've been searching everywhere for you!" He scolded her as Jasmine let go giving the two their space despite staying behind Blaire.
"I was just in the library, it isn't that much of a big deal" Blaire replied knowing she wasn't exactly in any danger, but knew it would be bad if she were to speak about privately talking with Alisabeth.
"Not a big deal! What if that thing tried to hurt you? Did she follow you?" He continued to question, yell and worry about her wellbeing even if some of his fears about that woman already became a reality.
"Yes. Yes she did, but I was not hurt in any way. We only had a little chat, nothing serious" she confidently argued back standing up as he stood their silently, clenched fists, tensing up his shoulders while fighting his glare when looking at her mixing between softness and anger.
She could see and feel the tension taking a step forward even with her oddly bigger and obvious pregnant belly bump. Is there really only one in there or is it just a massive baby?
"I'm sorry, didn't mean to make you worry, love. I promise to give you a heads up before hand for now on, but I do have something very important I want to ask of you" Blaire said gently placing her hands on his lower arms as she softened her gaze when looking into those angry eyes, but somehow managed to ease them down.
"Anything. Just don't do that every again, I thought I'd lost you both" Dan accepted her apology as it wasn't intentional and just an accident, but he could see that she too was starting to become anxious. And placed his forehead against hers moving a hand, and placed it on top of the baby bump wishing to feel some movement from the baby, but more was expected taking him by surprise. "They're quite energetic today.. Are they hurting you?" He asked pulling his head glancing between her and the big bump.
"That's the issue. I want you to check for me. I don't believe there's just one in there anymore" She suggested putting her hands on top of his keeping it pressed against the bump showing how serious she was.
"More than one? Are you sure? 'Cause the last time I check there was one heart beat. It's practically impossible" Dan doubted to believe her glancing his eyes up at Blaire feeling her worrying gaze and darted back down at the bump. "I'll check, only because I don't want you stress out. And then we're going back home so you can rest" he added sounding very serious pulling her into a more private area and closed his eyes, starting to fix his energy all around the bump and started to count. "1... I kne-.. 2.. what?.. 3?! There's three babies in here?!" He thought doubling check and just as before there was three healthy individual heartbeats, seeing the outline of them, but not that well to see what their sex is.
Dan pulled back dumbfounded at what he had discovered, fully believing Blaire's concern about the baby or should they say babies that are thriving healthy within Blaire's womb.
"W-what is it? Is there something wrong with the baby?" Blaire started to panic seeing how shocked he was pulling him back to reality, and immediately placed both hands on her shoulders confusing Blaire even more.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He asked not exactly explaining what he had seen adding even more onto her confusion.
"Tell me what? What are you on about?! Are they alright?" She asked back visibly more concerned for her baby's wellbeing, completely oblivious for the fact that she was carrying triplets instead of one individual child.
"You're pregnant with triplets?! 3 goddamn babies are thriving within you as we speak" Dan spilled the beans causing her to glance down at the bump and touched it with both hands, she could feel them moving inside and outside of her body.
"I knew you should've let me go to the doctors, but nooooo you didn't trust them to do a simple and completely harmless scan of our babies. We don't even know any of their genders yet either!" Blaire argued loving the thought of having more than one child, but this surprise could've been avoided if he had trusted a simple doctor, who knows exactly what they're doing to properly confirm and check on the child's condition.
"I already apologised for this in advance and you're still mad at me. We even have a scheduled appointment to see them and actually see their gender. What else do you expect from me?" Dan stepped up reminding her of this week's appointment, easily calming the angry soon to be mother down before any harm could happen with the new additions to their family.
Dan managed to convince her to let everything slide for now and reveal everything after the appointment, when they actually have proof to back it up that intact they're expecting triplets, and left later on that night to talk things through to prevent another argument. Jasmine too has no idea what to expect after the news is delivered after their appointment. Wouldn't that mean Blaire is closer to her due date than expected? Or will it carry on a little longer? Hopefully nothing could ruin such a beautiful moment... Right?
