Within the human realm Isabel along with her twin sons and daughter could be seen wandering about within the city at the dead of night in search for Blaire or at least someone who knows her home address. It became very clear they didn't trust any human who rarely walked around at this time of night where it's the most dangerous, with gangsters, criminals and evil ghosts who look for all kinds of trouble.
"Mama.. I'm cold" Kylo whined shivering along with his brother who are not used to cold without wearing warm fur clothing, but there was nothing she could do that would possibly warm them up, it was practically impossible. Killian in response cuddled his brother starting to share their body warmth near their mother, as they huddled together within an abandoned building at least having some sort of coverage from the cold outdoors.
"Why can't you track her mama? You're a very skilled hunter, right?" Killian randomly blurted after remembering something he secretly heard their father talking with one of his friends about his mother and how they met. Isabel shockingly turned her head slightly wide eyed until seeing their innocent beedy eyes staring up at her.
"Who told you that? Was it your father?" Isabel confusingly asked refusing to let down the wiggling infant to crawl on the dirty, decaying and germ filled floor. Killian nodded in response as she sighed shaking her head in disbelief. "Of course it was.." she quietly muttered to herself as the scenery around them was not making Isabel feel any safer, and opened one of her hands revealing the centre of her palm creating a green like sparkly energy which quickly shot up and quickly expanded around the entire city as she closed her eyes starting to do what she was trained to do. To hunt. And like expected not only was Blaire found, but Dan as well being quite further than expected, more isolated than the other houses probably for privacy from the outside world. "Come on boys, Mummy finally knows where Aunty Blaire is. Let's quickly pop by and say hello!" Isabel quickly changed her attitude being more cheerful for her children and got up ready to lead them where it'll be warm, safe and away from any bad humans. They cautiously walked through town with hoods up hiding their inhuman details until reaching a nice large house that was a little further away from the others, and knocked. Within minutes footsteps could be heard emerging until finally reaching the door, unlocking it and slowly heard it creak open revealing Dan who stood there confusingly peering down at them.
"Can I help you?" he asked in a grumpy tone, visibly exhausted as he couldn't exactly see their faces due to the darkness of the hoods that hid their faces, not until KIllian decided to remove his allowing them to see eye to eye as he wasn't nervous or scared like his brother. Dan paused for a moment until hearing the woman sigh as she dropped hers as well appearing just as exhausted.
"I know you don't exactly have the best connection to my husband, but something terribly bad has happened back at home. We only ask for some assistance until he comes back to collect us once everything has been dealt with, it's all we're asking for" Isabel begged in a way to not stress Dan or cause any of her children to worry, he squinted his eyes down at her thinking of what could happen and was about to speak until a creak could be heard from the top of the stairs that stood behind him within the corridor.
"Dan? Who's at the door?" Blaire's tired voice called out as his head immediately spun around seeing his heavily pregnant girlfriend stood on the top of the stairs rubbing one of her eyes with her hands, while the other remained firmly gripped onto the bannister.
"You're not supposed to be out of bed! Are you trying to hurt yourself?" Dan called out in sheer panic rushing towards the bottom of the stairs as she confusingly stared down at him, before finally noticing Isabel stood there with her children, but Xander was nowhere in sight.
"I'll be fine for a minute or two, but why is Isabel here? And where's my brother?" Blaire replied sitting herself down directly at the top step, looking at the both of them and the suddenly towards the children including Amabel who has grown quite a lot since they last saw her, and was starting to become quite restless and wanted to be let down.
"He's busy, you'll be able to see him whenever he arrives, but for now you are going to bed" Dan butted in refusing to let any stress to quicken the labour date and started to make his way upstairs, leaving the door wide open for Isabel to come inside without exactly telling her she could come in. Halfway up the stairs he stopped glancing over his shoulder. "Well? Are you coming in? You can have the spare room, its upstair to the far left down the corridor" he asked sounding rather impatient before continuing up scooping Blaire up bridal style once able to get to her, he made it look like she weighed nothing to him.
"T-thank you! I am ever truly thankful for your kindness" Isabel thanked them as they entered inside slowly shutting and locking the door behind them as the boys began to take off their shoes. Dan carried Blaire to the bedroom and laid her down on the king sized bed with red and black bedding, it was very late and he refused to let anyone even himself to intervene with her bed rest until and after the triplets arrive.
Isabel took the twins and Amabel to their room which wasn't much, but it was the only thing available at the moment leaving them to share a double bed for the time being, and went straight to bed without any complaints after seeing the size as well as the exhausted state she was in making it very clear that these babies are soon to arrive.
However, later on that night things quickly took a dramatic turn without any warning or signs Blaire woke up randomly close around midnight with mild and yet rather painful contractions, but took a minute with some easily and slow breathing before trying to head back to sleep until being woke up again almost 9 minutes later with that same pain around her belly and lower back placing both hands on her stomach waiting for it to ease by, lasting about 10 seconds each time.
"Oh my. That was a painful one.." Blaire quietly said to herself as she glanced over her shoulder noticing Dan fast asleep having his back faced towards her, since he was unable to reach or cuddle his beloved due to her nesting habit surrounding herself with a huge, squish pregnancy pillow. "I really need a pee!" she thought when suddenly feel the desperate building up sensation down below and carefully got up and out of bed, before slowly making her way around the bed fighting whatever uncomfortable pain she was currently experiencing holding her back while doing. Just as Blaire headed towards the bedroom door not noticing a water like substance leaking down their leg, until suddenly stopping a few seconds after when an intense pain rushed through her body as she groaned in intense pain, collapsing down to the ground waking Dan up from his sleep causing him to grumble and flip around half asleep completely unaware of the situation, until actually opening his eyes and closed them before suddenly shooting them open sitting up within seconds when realising that she wasn't there. Blaire's held back loud painful groans could be heard, as he immediately jumped out of bed when finally noticing her on the floor with hands clenching around her stomach in pain unable to speak or ever move a single inch, fearing it would trigger another painful contraction as if it would actually tear her apart.
"Shit, shit, shit! Here let me get you laid down, while I go get the midwife" Dan frantically instructed picking Blaire up and put her back to bed comfortably setting the pillows and blankets up before rushing to grabbed one of their phones, but it quickly turned out that they weren't available leaving him in a very tough situation as she started to yell and groan louder in pain.
"Fucking help me, Dan you fucking prick!" Blaire screamed at him taking Dan by surprise as he panicked inside unsure of what to do, forgetting everything the midwife had told him while she struggled to control the painful contractions.
"I don't know what to do!" he yelled back pacing himself back and forth at the back of the room trying to get a catch on what to do as they hadn't prepared themselves for this. Suddenly footsteps could be heard rushing near their room until coming through, it was Isabel she appeared concerned glancing around the room noticing the pain Blaire was in, wet puddle on the floor and Dan panicking. It was clear that her sister-in-law had gone into labour.
"Before you yell, I am fully certified doctor. But sadly in order for me to work and help deliver I would need you to leave the room, I cannot have my kids left unattended especially my daughter" Isabel said walking full in as she grew closer to Blaire reaching into her own pocket and revealed a real doctors badge with her name, face and details on it. Dan glanced over at his beloved as she nodded giving the okay despite in agonising pain, he hesitated at first, but quickly accepted this and left after giving Blaire a quick little kiss before walking out grumpy by the thought of not being in there while their mysterious triplets are being born.
He sat there on the edge of the guest's bed waiting in agony for several hours hearing her yelling and screams of pain, not caring about the sun slowly starting to come up and greet him. After 9 painful hours later Blaire was finally dilated enough to start pushing, giving the first baby to be delivered within the next 10 minutes. Its cries were enough to ease some of the stress she was failing when Isabel stopped to look at it, this baby wasn't human at all and appeared to have nice pale green skin, extremely short white hair like every newborn should looking just like its father in colour, except having some of Blaire's fathers' passed on genetics. A sparkly dark green scaled dragon tail, scales and wings along with some cute little horns too that are soon to grow out. Isabel immediately cleaned the baby, wrapping it with a nice smooth blanket and passed it to the mother seeing one of the three creations she had made.
"It's a boy" Isabel announced putting her rubber gloved hand inside to check on the second baby seeing if it was in the right position and luckily it was, as she pulled her hand out preparing for the second set of labour contractions to begin safety taking the baby and placing it down beside Blaire, as after 5 minutes of preparing the second triplet was on its way taking only a minute until finally being brought into the world. It had white skin, extremely short dark blue hair, sparkly dark blue scaled dragon tail, scales and wings with tiny horns too their eyes remained shut making it hard what either of their eye colours are going to be. "Congrats. Another boy" she announced doing the same of what she did with the first born and handed it over to the mother allowing her to see it, not caring that it shared a similar skin colour to her mother, not ready to name any of them yet until the last one has been delivered allowing Dan back inside to see his babies.
"They're all so beautiful" Blaire breathlessly spoke sweating and breathing heavily upon admiring her second son for a few minutes until the last triplet was making their entrance into the real world, as she carefully laid him down beside his brother before clenching her hands against the bed covers feeling this one to be oddly more painful compared to the other two lasting a little longer than expected, until finally being delivered, but something was wrong. It wasn't crying and Isabel appeared worried and immediately started to do something which made Blaire slowly start to panic. "W-what's happening? Is my baby okay?" she worriedly asked trying to glance around to see, but just as she glanced at Isabel the baby immediately wailed loudly lifting it up appearing to look like a mixture between her brothers, light green skin, extremely short white hair, snow white sparkly dragon tail, scales, little baby dragon wings, and little horns filled with such life all carrying on their grandfather's legacy showing exactly who they're related to by the look of their species genetics.
"It's a girl, healthy and strong just like her brothers" this news brought joy to Blaire knowing not only did she have two beautiful sons, but a daughter as well completing their little family so far. Laying her in between her big brothers Blaire finally got to see the miracles she had waited so long to see. "I'll quickly go get the father, so for now rest up and I will come and check up on you" Isabel said walking out of the room proud for having a successful delivery, giving Blaire more time to bond with her babies as she looked absolutely knackered, admiring the triplets who snuggled up next to one another.
Dan rushed through stopping in the doorway when noticing his family laid on their bed, Blaire was already teared up crying with joy at the sight of their beautiful children. He felt choked up and slowly walked over in disbelief reaching the bed as he sat down beside them, giving Blaire a proud kiss on the forehead.
"You did amazing, just look at how cute they are" Dan whispered praising her for doing such a great job not noticing the tears that started to fall down his cheeks even if they hadn't named them just yet, but they wanted to have a moment to admire their new additions to the family. "So, what are the genders?" he asked peering down at them not exactly being able to see it due to them all being naked and wrapped up comfortably in white cotton soft blankets.
"2 boys and 1 girl. But I don't know what to name them, they're all so unique" she replied pointing them all out as the girl remained in between her brothers, Dan gently moved his arms in and scooped up his daughter getting a closer look already coming up with a name for her.
"I think she should be called Ava, and the eldest son Dante, leaving the second oldest Diego. Do you like them? Feel free to change them if you don't, they are your children as well" Dan spoke up giving his opinion on their names while giving her a chance too if any of them weren't to her liking. Blaire hummed in concentration looking at them all individually seeing if their names matched them perfectly, but one of their names weren't sticking.
"I'm changing Diego to Rex, I just feel like he's going to be more like you" Blaire changed the second borns name as Dan slowly nodded approving it before pausing when hearing her last comment.
"What do you mean more like me? Are you aiming at my temper? I feel like you are" he responded rather offended as she chuckled in response, then resting her head against his shoulder letting out a loud exhausting yawn.
"It was more of a compliment, 'cause to me you look hot when you're angry" she cheekily flirted having a thing for his temper as most men do appear more attractive when mad, yelling or fighting with someone else mainly another male. He smugly scoffed with a smirk thinking of several ways they could make up if they were to get into a heated argument if she likes it when he's mad. Blaire fell asleep on his shoulder as he stayed put refusing to move or even speak knowing she deserved to rest after going through months of aching pain, and hours of labor just to give him 3 beautiful babies.
"Rest my love, you deserve it" Dan thought not thinking for a second that anything could ever ruin such a peaceful beautiful moment, one special day that should never be forgotten.
Back within the Ice Lands smoke, fire, spiked ice and war was everywhere painting the ice red the more innocent lives were taken, but they hero who gave this freedom was nowhere to be found. Xander has disappeared, while Aelius was back on the field taking out anything that dared to move or even breath including innocent little children. He was the true definition of a heartless monster.
"Make sure no one escapes, kill them all?!" he ordered yelling throughout the area to nearby leaders who silently did their part, while some secretly allowed others who weren't apart of this to escape, not having the cold heart their leader possesses. Xander's second in command was left to evacuate what's left of their people while in search of his friend despite having darker fur than the others due to a mutation, but it didn't stop him from doing his part.
"Quickly! Go, go go!" he roared standing there fanning the people in the safest direction to their designated evacuation point which sits miles away from their home, and deep under the ice surface where it'll be safe until all of this is over. He was about to join them until spotting something poking out from under the ash and snow, he recognised the texture of the fur clothing and rushed over praying whoever this was is alive. "Come on, come on! I promised him I'll take care of everyone, please don't be dead" they thought not wishing to see another dead body, but once close enough he froze when seeing Xander's dark skin poking out praying it isn't what it he feared. Walking towards this unknown body he kneeled down and started to wipe away the snow and soon discovered that it was in fact xander, placing his paw against the leader's back praying to hear a soulbeat. Silence hit until a loud beat was heard allowing him to sigh with relief and picked him up over his shoulder, quickly joining the others taking hours or even a day at best to arrive there on foot to deal with Xander's bleeding wounds. A huge claw scar was going to remain on the right side of his face possibly blinding his eyes during the fight, several overs not being that bad except a failed attempt to penetrate through his soul. Due to being half ghost Xander can't exactly die from blood loss like most creatures do, the body heals itself if left untreated for any longer than an hour without assistance or near death. A simple last resort ability he got from his mother, but can still die if his core is destroyed or absorbed for power by another being.
