Anna still couldn't believe that Victoria would do such a thing. But seeing her true character now, she bit her bottom lip before going back to work. Not that it mattered to her but it was a gift.
Meanwhile, at the backside of the Mansion, Lucian leaned closer to the maid in front of him. Placing a kiss on her forehead, she smiled sheepishly.
Not that he was into her but he was only using her for feeding and sexual purpose. Once she had turn white like a transparent paper with no blood, he would flee to find another prey. But his interest was in Anna. He thought of how it would feel sinking his sharp fangs into her fresh skin.
When his eyes moved to the mark on the maiden's neck, he grabbed her neck and pinned her against the wall.
"I told you not to wear exposing clothes. Why do you chose not to listen to me?" He asked, slightly irritated.
"I..... I'm sorry, Master Marcos." Clara tried to take in air but with his hands around her neck, she could not move an inch. "It's just that maidens are required to wear the uniform. If i—"
"You talk too much." He scratched his forehead. "I hate noisy women."
"I promise it would never happen again." She croaked.
He brought his fingers to remove the small strands of hair on her face. "Such a sweet girl."
The words he spoke made Clara's heart melt with joy. She had never thought a maiden like her would gain the interest of a wealthy handsome man.
"We should go to my room." He smiled before removing his hands from her neck and walking away.
Clara walked behind him upstairs to his room. He locked the room door once she was inside. He turned around and stood in front of her staring into her.
"How I'm I sure you are not going to disobey me again?" He asked.
"I promise you I would not wear revealing clothes anymore." She pleaded, hoping he would forgive her.
"No..... No." Lucian shook his head. "I have said this twice but you wouldn't listen. Do you know how many maidens saw you like this?"
"But Master Lucian it was just an animal attack. Nobody would worry too about it as I am just a maid. Just please forgive me." She cried out.
He smiled at her before running his fingers across her face, making her calm down a bit only for his words to make her heart pound with fear.
"I can't remove my eyes from what you did today. You need to be punished." She heard him say and her eyes widened with shock.
Suddenly, he tilted her neck roughly in a better position before sinking his fangs into the same spot he had bitten, making the girl yelp in pains.
"Ahh! Please Master Marcos it hurts too much!" She cried out.
He pulled away, blood still on his mouth and teeth. "I thought you like me. Why are you in tears now?"
The girl continued to cry and when she raised her head to see his eyes which had turned black, her body jerked. "M.... Master Marcos....?"
"You see...." He licked his lips and slowly his eyes went back to normal. "This is my love language and you have to get used to it if you want to be around me 24/7."
"Now stop crying and let's continue from where we stopped." He said.
Clara tried to stop herself from crying but seeing what Lucian looks like, it only made her heart to pound more. It was as if it would explode soon.
"You are still crying?" Lucian's face turned cold when he saw that she has not stopped crying.
"You said you love me. Why are you still crying even when I told you not to?" He asked, watching the girl intently as she continued to cry. The more she was cried, the more his expression was turning cold. Had he done anything bad to make her cry? Or was she crying out of excitement, he thought.
"Okay I am sorry." He wiped the tears in her eyes. "Will you stop crying now?"
"Your eyes....." Clara raised her head. Her face was covered with tears. "They changed colour to black. I've never seen anything like that."
"Now that you've seen what are you going to do?" He tilted his head.
"I need to leave. I have other work to do." She tried to turn around but he held her firm. In a swift movement, he pushed her to the bed before turning her neck to the other side to sink his fangs in her fresh skin.
"You really look delicious." He licked the area before sinking his fangs into her skin.
"Please!" Clara cried out, not understanding why Lucian was harsh to her tonight. "You are hurting me."
He pulled her chin up to look at him before compelling her. "The wound on your body was from an animal attack when you sneaked out to visit your lover. I didn't bite you, do you understand?"
"Yes." She nodded.
"Good." He smiled before taking raising her dress up to cover her wound.
"Now I want you to do something for me." Lucian said.
"What do you want me to do?" She questioned.
"Get closer to Anna. Not now, I will tell you when." He smiled before wiping off the tears.
"You will come with me next weekend to a night party." He said.
"Master Lucian I apologize but I am always occupied at night." She replied.
"You are coming with me, is that understood?" He compelled her.
"Yes." She smiled.
"You may leave." He patted her hair one last time before watching her as she stood up and left the room
