"Norris Moore is unemployed.
This isn't a simple case of unemployment.
She is thoroughly unemployed in Tung City, this huge international city.
She can't find work, everyone shoves her out at sight of her face.
Even the supermarkets hiring salespeople rejected her upon seeing her.
"It's not that we don't need people, but our small shop simply cannot offend that big Buddha." Someone seemed to pity her, disclosing a little information, "Miss Moore, think carefully, who have you offended?"
Who did she offend?
Yes, indeed, who did she offend to be so completely crushed?
The ruin of the Moore family isn't enough, they even have to watch their whole family die.
This kind of cold-bloodedness, Norris can never pull off.
A woman's heart is the most poisonous.
Laughable.
How could a woman possibly be tougher than a man?

Aldana Candi asked her to meet at the café.
Aldana, makeup-free, appeared more frail and delicate than ever.
She shoved a bank card towards Norris and whispered, "There's twenty thousand in there, Norris, it should cover your brother's kidney dialysis for this week. I'll think of something for your father's care fees."
Norris's smile, usually so steady, disappeared entirely. Her eyes welled up with tears whilst she turned her head away and muttered, "Aldana, thank you."
Who would have thought it would be a friend from the "Dark Night" to help her in her most difficult time?
They've only known each other for three months.
Aldana is different from her; she doesn't sell herself, she just works as a waitress at "Dark Night" earning eight thousand a month. This twenty thousand is almost three months worth of her salary.
Aldana grabbed her hand, smiled and said in her gentle and beautiful voice, "You're welcome. You're my friend, Norris, how can I stand by and do nothing when you're in trouble?"
Norris bit her lip tightly, reddened eyes looking at Aldana's face, and then she spoke in a low voice, "Aldana, I don't know how I can ever repay you. I promise that if you ever need help, I'll do everything I can to assist."
Her words felt empty, given her situation she couldn't offer much.
Aldana gave a slight smile, "Okay." She didn't assist Norris for reciprocation. But since Norris put it this way, she wouldn't refuse. After a pause, Aldana lowered her voice and asked, "Norris, do you know who is blacklisting you?"
Norris nodded, her smile less bright, "Yes, I do."
Who in Tung City doesn't know by now?
At Trenton Smith's decree, no one in Tung City dares to employ her.
He's truly in a grand position now.
"Norris, have you thought about what you're going to do next?"
Norris pursed her lips slightly, and gave a wistful smile, "I don't know, Aldana." she genuinely didn't know what to do.
Trenton Smith was much crueler than she had imagined.
She even regretted leaving him that night.
She was only insulted, but now her life is virtually over, what's the point of dignity?
In the end, she still has to crawl back to his door.
She has always maintained some dignity in front of him, even though she has fallen to this level…
What a joke.
Arriving at this point, she truly has no one to blame but herself.
She remembered the benefits but not the consequences, and underestimated the heartless nature of Trenton Smith.
Aldana looked at her, gave a low sigh, then stretched out her hand to grip Norris's icy fingers and whispered, "Norris, I can't stay with you for too long, I have to leave first." Ella Lewis knew about their friendship and forbade her from contacting Norris, afraid that Norris's troubles would spill over into her life, "I'll think of a way to get the money for you...Don't worry too much."
Norris nodded, responding softly, "Okay."
