The man approached her daringly and stared her down, making her feel as if she were an insect. She has been getting looked down on lately and the after-result is not always what they would expect.
"Ms. Winters," the principal called and Scarlet moved her eyes from the man to look at her. "Did you get into any fight with a student yesterday?" she asked and the room got silent as they waited for a response.
Would it be okay to say she did get into a fight? Scarlet thought as she looked at the principal who looked at her as if she cannot hurt a fly.
The man scoffed and sighed loudly as if losing his patience and he came to stand in front of Scarlet before pointing his hand at her.
