She was quiet as she watched the men stare at the Alpha. He was still breathing heavily and although she wanted to be able to try and focus on him she found herself struggling to do so. She sucked in a deep breath as she felt her body tremble slightly.
She didn't know what had come over her before but she knew that one thing was certain and that was the fact that she couldn't be catching feelings for him. It was wrong in all senses of the word.
He was just the guy who had managed to save her and saw that he hadn't been able to do just that. She needed to fake a moment to calm her nerves. She had to blame it on that. It was the only plausible reason for her to think of something so outrageous.
