Erica could feel the familiar warmth being pressed against her back. She hummed as she pressed her body further against it and she dealt a small file making its way onto her features as she allowed herself to embrace it for one.
On any other night, she would have been cautious about having the Alpha so close to her but for once it was a welcome feeling. There was a part of her that was tired of the constant back-and-forth conflict that seemed to transpire between the two of them.
She wanted all of it to just be over. She didn't know how she had gotten into his bed but she was pretty sure that he was the one who had carried her. She appreciated the fact that he had done that and she was glad that he hadn't left her to sleep on the floor.
In truth, despite the fact that she wouldn't have liked to admit it the floor wasn't as comfortable as she had hoped. The next morning she woke up feeling slightly grungy: she rubbed her eyes trying to get the sleep out of it.
