TO BE CONTENTED- THAT'S FOR COWS:
Anyone can actually tell the meaning of this quote with a single glance. Diana Vreeland made this quote and the meaning I see in this is that people shouldn't be contended with what they have. This is like going against all norms, against everything we believe and it's basically telling us to be greedy, yea that's what it says; we shouldn't be contended, always inspire for more or else you will be seeing as a cow, lol.
BE CONTENDED WITH WHAT YOU HAVE; that's like a tradition everyone believes in, everyone knows it, but does everyone accept it?
Being contended means having that feeling of happiness and satisfaction in what you do, what you have and what you believe in. Finding that maximum satisfaction within you, giving you peace and happiness in what you call your own that's what I believe to be the best motivation out there but when a certain someone comes and drop a certain line "BE CONTENTED- THAT'S FOR COWS" it goes against my believe and raises doubts in my mind and as a common knowledge we all know that with doubt comes questions and some of those questions?, we cannot answer.
Writing this, I am not trying to say that being contended should make you not to dig deeper, no you should but you should not stake everything while doing that because that is what happens when you are not content and staking everything without knowing the chances of winning is the same as committing suicide and that is the reason my believe does not allign with that quote.
