Instantly, a white holographic board appeared right out of thin air in front of my face, it wasn't visible to others but to only me. At that point it was revealed to me.
[System activate....]

Stamina: 4/10
Agility: 3.2/10
Experience: 0/10
Magic: Wind magic
Magic capacity: 950/1000

––––––––––––––––––
Those were the words inscribed unto the board and I was left dumbfounded.
"W-what is this?"
Rachel got up to her knees and had her hands placed on the ground, her head faced the dirt beneath as her chest expanded before it decreased in size.
This motion was repeated severally and it became obvious that she was breathing heavily.
The impact her back made with the ground was quite heavy indeed, the wind element is considered one of the strongest force of the primary elements.
Xerxes from his seat joined his hands together which created a tapping sound.
"That's enough for today."
He ended the training session almost as soon as it began. His initial reason was unknown to me, but it seemed Rachel had suffered a not so serious damage from that impact.
Xerxes stood up from his seat and approached Rachel, he crouched before raising her back up and determining the stability of her breathing.
I was on my own knees as I looked at my right hand, I was quite startled at my own magical power.
"Xavier, you have to be more careful when using your magic, in battle there are those you must stop and does you must protect. Balancing two is what makes a successful mage so be cautious of the kind of spell you utilize."
As he spoke, he looked behind his shoulder prompting me to get up to my feet. What we saw were the grasses, trees uprooted from the ground and their initial positions.
The half baked wind dragon blast had blown away more than the aqua Canon and Rachel.
Xerxes food court, which is the name he bestowed upon his inn, is located at the far edge of Oriaro which is the name of the town we were in right now.
Behind the Inn was the entrance into a forest, Xerxes had chosen to site his inn right next to the forest for one reason alone.
It produced the best fruits which is used in the production of his favorite wine.
I rushed towards Rachel as her breathing sequence returned to normal. Xerxes helped her up while I scratched the back of his head in a bit of shame, acknowledging the fact I accidentally went all out on a lady.
"Are you alright?"
Rachel dusted her clothes and rearranged her hair behind her neck before smiling a bit and replied softly.
"I'll be fine, beginner's luck. It won't ever happen again."
She spoke those words with her eyes closed and an innocent smile drawn on her face, this sent chills down my spine, was that a warning? If it is then I'm screwed. I guess you can't really judge a book by it's cover.
"You can take a break now Rachel, I'll take it from here."
Xerxes informed Rachel and I watched her return back into the Inn before my focus was placed back at Xerxes.
"You saw it didn't you?"
Xerxes asked most likely referring to the holographic board that had appeared the first time I made use of magic, I simply nodded slowly in response.
"Listen, there are several classification of magic spells, the lowest is the E rank spell which I'm about to show you. The spell you used on Rachel is a half baked version of my dragon blast which places it at E rank."
I was a bit surprised, that was a E rank spell? I mean the level of damage was considerable but still E rank?
Xerxes took a deep breath before looking forward, as he exhaled what followed were surges of wind currents around him, his jacket flapped rapidly in the wind and his hair was blown in several directions.
I raised my elbow towards my eye to avoid any dust particles from entering into it.
"This spell is E rank level, but with proper training you can rank it all the way up!"
As he exclaimed the pressure of the surging wind energy he produced shot up and it became powerful enough to blow me backwards, I managed to land on my feet the moment Xerxes stopped building wind energy around him.
"Why?!"
I yelled, all he did was blow some powerful wind which knocked me off my feet and it was annoying as I have been the guinea pig for testing how hard the ground was. I have already been pushed around enough for one day.
"I said I'll show you a spell and I did, aero surge, it is a movement technique. If I actually demonstrate it's full power, I would blow the Inn away."
Aero surge is a movement spell, that is to say it amplifies the speed of the user. As noted already it is a wind based technique created by Xerxes himself.
He originally created this spell 30 years ago to find the best sources of beer in a short amount of time. Ideally the technique aids in easy transportation, evasion as well as offence at combat.
"As your teacher I will only be teaching you how to build up your magic power, mastering the aero surge will be a more recommended way to do so, however I can only pass down one technique to you as my wind student."
I crossed my hands as Xerxes left me in suspense for a moment, he placed his hands behind his back and looked me in my only good eye before he spoke.
"The Sacred Arts also known as the forbidden wind arts."
My hands dropped as well as my understanding, the what?
"Sacred what?"
Xerxes sighed a bit as he walked over to his chair and picked up after it had already been blown away from it's initial position. He sat down on it before he continued speaking.
"The Sacred Arts are forbidden wind spells, it was declared forbidden after a group of terrorists — The Rakion troupe unleashed chaos on the kingdom of Aerovale 40 years ago, the outcome was truly terrifying and the kingdom was nearly wiped out."
I listened with great interest, was this why he told me to be careful with the amount of magic power I released? Because last time I checked it's the same magic type I possess he's talking about.
"They were defeated by the Aero Calivers, the knights of Aerovale. But at that time the damage had already been done. From that day onwards those spells were declared forbidden across the kingdoms."
Xerxes looked over to the container that was now empty, he grinned with the urge to behead me as I was the reason why the container was empty.
"I cannot teach you this spells until you have mastered your magic, now gather as much wind energy as you can and surround it around your body."
I nodded at Xerxes instructions and took a deep breath closing my eyes. As I opened it and exhaled I tried building up magical power around my body.
I folded my fingers into my fists as slowly a light blue light emanated from my body before transforming little by little into wind energy.
"Good keep it up."
Xerxes tried encouraging me as I grinned my teeth and lowered my eyes trying to increase the amount of magic power I mustered up, it was difficult.
Building up magical power required training, discipline and focus and I lacked those three things.
Building up magical power consumed strength and energy and with mine being very low the wind energy I had already created dissipated and I fell to my knees breathing hardly.
"W-why? I was able to build it up before, why can't I now?"
I questioned myself as Xerxes simply shaked his head before responding to my futile question.
"Did you honestly think It'll come easy to you? There's a difference between knowing how to do it and being forced to do it. It took Rachel a month before she could build up enough magic power, what you need is more training and more stamina so get to it!"
I nodded at the words of Xerxes before I got up to my feet and maintained the same position as I did before.
"Here goes nothing."
