Valeria was glad everything had been settled. Pablito was now receiving treatment and James was found at last. Apparently, he went to his sister's place all while she was looking for him.
The next day, she had to meet with Alejandro. Not because she was exited to meet him, but because she needed to.
He was glad she was around though, and that was enough. They met at the same restaurant they'd met the last time they were on a date.
"I'll have what you're having." Valeria said to him as he asked her what she would like to order.
They ate their meal in silence up to a while before Valeria broke the silence.
"You know, my father was almost like my enemy. He always liked my sister more than he liked me, but after hating him all this years, I'm starting to realize that he loved me all this while. Despite my stubbornness that he never did."
