"It's been a week now. What's the update with your invisible friend?" James asked as they ate over the dining table.
Valeria did not stop chewing her food. "You mean Rose?"
"What's the update from her end?" He asked again. "David or blackrose, is getting way too obsessed in finding the kids."
Valeria smirked. "Is it because of what we said?"
"Well, not really..." James stopped. Valeria didn't flinch though. She continued eating her food. "I'm just a little bit worried. I mean, we both know how psychotic David can be..."
"James, don't worry. David won't do anything to harm you just so he can get to me." Valeria rolled her eyes as she said.
James coughed. "No no, that's not what I really mean." A smile was hinted on his face now, though he tried so hard to conceal it. He adjusted his posture and sat up straight. "The thing is, even if he doesn't use me as bait, he could use someone else."
