Jose was instantly rushed to the hospital, and after the whole scenerio, Valeria had but no choice to go check after Jose. She and Rose left the building as a van was already waiting for her outside.
"Who was that? Tell me it wasn't him." Rose said to her as soon as they were inside the van on their way to the hospital.
Valeria heard her loud and clear but wished she would not be the one who would answer the question.
She shook her head, trying to take the scene away from her head. "It was him, Rose. That was my dad."
Rose shivered. "Why did he run like that?"
Suddenly, Valeria was frowning her face. "Why wouldn't he? He was supposed to be deed, remember??"
"I'm sure there must be some sort of explanation for all of this..."
