It was evening and Rose was seated with Valeria over a drink at a bar. She needed to clear her head anyway, and so she had asked if Rose would be interested in a drink.
"You know," Rose was saying to her as they sat down. "I am so glad how our story turned out." She said to Valeria and brought a kind of confusion on her face.
"What do you mean?" Valeria asked her.
"It's crazy, really. But, I wonder what would have happened if James hadn't cheated on you. Was there still any way for us to be together? I mean, how would we even have met?" She said with a chuckle.
Valeria nodded her head in agreement. She was right after all. If it had not been because of James who cheated on her with Andrea, she would not have even been at the end of the year party in the first place.
"You know," Valeria said with a smile on her face. "Somehow, this is all thanks to blackrose."
