Out of all of them in the room, the only person in the room that was less terrified...in fact, there was no fear in his eyes though, it was Jose.
He seemed calm and relaxed. Valeria knew best to trust him, so she walked over to meet him and relaxed too. Then the lights went off. She searched for his hands in the dark and found it.
"Why aren't you bothered?" She asked.
"Get down." Jose whispered to her, and she obeyed. The gunshot continued again, and a hysterical laughter filled the air. "He's a lunatic...the gun shooter."
It was dark, but Valeria's face was contorted into a big frown, her brows furrowing in confusion. "Who?"
"Hello everyone! I am Pablito, god of the underworld!" A stout man walked in, but nobody could see him in the dark. "Where's everybody?"
"Turn on the fucking light, you idiot!" Jose yelled out.
The light turned on and every where was once bright. A loud sigh escaped from Jose's lips.
