Morning
15 April 2001
2 am.
Bai Xue woke up feeling a bit better.
After checking the time, he decided to go back to sleep. He had enough of midnight work in the past month and this was the time to sleep at night.
He closed his eyes and tried to sleep. He couldn't. He wasn't feeling sleepy.
He tossed and turned in his bed a few times before getting up and deciding to start his day early.
An hour later.
He was at the department garden of the Library Council and enjoying the slightly breezy winds of the April.
He wasn't alone though.
Around him were people. Surroundings him were more people. More so then the day and definitely more active at that.
This was the Library council, the owls of the Department of Library. Be it the garden, the books, the lights to even the cleaning of the floors, everything pertaining to the library was under their jurisdiction.
"You are flagged twice by now. One more time and we won't just ban you."
One of the Library council members stated his verdict and they all left. Bai Xue ignored them and looked at the Telscreen and applied for other loan approval appointments, most of which were "We are sorry, we can't help you."
Taking the Library council seriously was something he couldn't do. The reason could be that he had seen them practice their lines a few times before talking to others or that the ones who came to him had been standing by the side for nearly ten minutes before starting their conversation. Truthfully they were quite docile and really pleasant people to talk to.
How can he even take such cute behaviour seriously? That was asking too much for him. That's why he ignored them. They would get caught up in his rumours if he were to interact too much with them.
Moving on.
Unlike Eavāntí, the other ones that he applied for were quick loan providers and generally had a complete online vetting system for their loan approvals thus there was no need for any form of human to human interaction.
This means that they all rejected him based on his monetary profile and criminal history that was just a month old. Obliviously.
The Bald Man didn't lie.
"Okay. Let's do as he says then."
'Not as a packaged deal.'
In simplified terms, Bai Xue couldn't create a company and put You Weixi as the 'partner' partner and then have him take the loan or ask for loans at his designation. That was a no-no.
You Weixi has to take the lead as the sole financial forefront of the company and Bai Xue could come a lot later, at least after the loan was transferred, and at most take the position of an employee or something.
Not a partner, not anyone who shares the freedom to move monetary assets in the firm but just an employee or worker who works for the firm, on their orders and without much powers.
As he took a look at the simple hierarchy that he had to follow in the firm/company or any monetary institution, there were indeed some loopholes in it that he could use in his situation and that means the Bald Man gave actual, geniune advice.
Why though?
He pondered on it while he worked on other things. He will get You Weixi one day or another but that doesn't mean that everything has to start after You Weixi was in the picture.
Early preparations won't hurt and Bai Xue could and was setting up the background and foundation on which the first company was supposed to work for.
"Would be in vain if I couldn't get him to join though."
Hours passed and he got a runny nose in the morning. The breezy winds wasn't something to take lightly.
"Great."
"Really Great."
'I am biggest enemy.'
"No, I am just getting pessimistic due to the fever and all."
He laid down on his bed, put on a blanket and went to sleep after taking some medicine. He should be fine in an hour or so.
3 in the Afternoon.
He woke up. 7 hours after he had gone to sleep. He wasn't thrilled.
He looked at the time again. It didn't change much. Just a few seconds difference.
"I have to find him now."
He got up from his bed, bathed again, changed into a fresh set of clothes and went to find You Weixi.
(He had washed his clothes while bathing.)
Hours passed by again as he searched and searched and searched only to find that You Weixi was on a three day holiday to his family and would return on Monday, which was the next day or tomorrow.
"So he left on the day I met him."
"Oh! Weaver of fate! You are lucky that Elder isn't here."
"Tomorrow it is then!"
He said out aloud and then went to his dorm to focus more on the creation of the game.
