Emi had hidden herself behind some trees in the forest, where Hiro was with some mysterious men she had never seen before. As she approached, she could see the tents they were using to stay in the woods. She had listened to some of Hiro's conversation, but it had left her confused. Either way, she knew that this was against the rules but since it involved Hiro, she felt that it was her duty to follow him and find out what he was doing. As her War-Knight partner. And either way, he was breaking the rules as well…
"Hiro walked with these guys outside the base without even fretting… does he know them by chance? No, that can't be…"
Emi had been faced with a serious situation. She was the only one who knew about what was going on. Normally being a less serious, loud, cheerful, and extroverted person, she was confronted with a serious scenario for once. As she looked behind a tree, she accidentally stepped on a tree branch. She tried to be careful, but her clumsy demeanor betrayed her.
"Oh crap."

*CRACK*
"Huh? What was that?"
As Bleed explained what was going on, one of the guys with Bleed noticed something in the woods and pointed it out. It was probably an animal or something, since no other War-Knights were up, and there were no guards watching the base. One of them proceeded to walk over where the sound came from.
"Hey! I was having a conversation with Hiro here! That's probably some animal, you paranoid fucks!"
Bleed exclaimed.
"Let's check, just to be sure…"
One of the men started getting closer to the tree where the noise came from. Each step made a cracking noise, as he stepped on fallen leaves. In the dark woods, it could be anything… right?
As the man approached, suddenly, a flying fist flew towards his face and he was hit so hard that it echoed throughout the entire woods. The man then fell to the floor, as he was knocked unconscious.
"What the fuck? That guy just got his face busted!"
Bleed pointed out.
I looked over at where the man got punched and saw a dark figure stand next to the tree. The other men grabbed pistols and pointed it at the tree's direction. The dark figure started to walk closer to us. Bleed started getting a hold of his rifle and pointing it. The figure started to reveal itself, showing the body of… a girl? But wait, not just any girl… is that… Emi?!
"I'm sorry about that, but I feared for my life back there. What are all of you doing here outside the base? And why is Hiro with you…?"
Emi approached us, not caring that multiple weapons were pointed at her. She started asking Bleed and the others questions.
"Who is this bitch? And how did she find out about us?!"
Bleed said in a trance.
I asked myself the same thing. How could she have spotted me leaving the base? Was she following us? Nonetheless, I knew I had to step in. She was my War-Knight partner, and my friend. I couldn't let Bleed and the other guys do something to her.
"Emi, run away from here and don't tell anyone. This doesn't concern you. I don't want you to be hurt."
I said in an effort to stop her. She proceeded to move closer.
Emi then stopped in front of me and Bleed.
"What the… wait, now that I look at you from close… aren't you that social media star, Emi Nishimura?"
Bleed said.
"That doesn't matter right now. Hiro, I don't know what you're doing outside the base, but you better have a good explanation for this."
Emi said in a serious tone.
I had no idea what to do. I had just found out that Bleed was contracted by some Antonov supporters who wanted to use the Young Killer's gang and me to be one of their allies. But just as Bleed finished explaining to me, we found out that Emi had followed me and that she probably knew about the entire plan.
"I…"
Before I could start my sentence, Emi interrupted.
"Did you say something about a bombing, Mr. Thinks he looks cool with a rifle?"
Emi said, referring to Bleed.
"You want to know too? Be my guest! I'll tell you all about the over 1,000 people that died this afternoon!"
Bleed said in a sadistic tone.
Did he just say… over 1,000 people… died? The Antonov supporters killed over 1,000 innocent civilians…? But why….
My heart sank to my stomach. How could someone hurt and kill so many innocent working adults, elders and…
Emi looked down on the floor. She seemed not to believe it at first, but then she knew it was probably the truth, and she seemed to be holding tears and her anger. She then directed herself at Bleed in an outraged face…
"I don't care if it wasn't you. If this was done by your little group or faction… and at least one of the victims was a child, I'm going to make you suffer until you go to hell…"
