"Gosh, I forgot. Good thing you reminded me, if I forget to not come home on time at the event, everyone will think I'm crazy," Vivy said with a laugh.
Violeth fell silent again as she drank her drink. Until now, he hasn't answered Vivy much because his ears have returned to enjoying the strains of male singers on the small stage.
"Violeth, I see you're in a bad mood. You're usually not like that. Or maybe...." Vivy thought of something.
"Don't make assumptions," Violeth said.
"You failed the first night until now?" asked Vivy while pressing Violeth's nose coquettishly.
Violeth immediately dodged and slapped Vivy's hand hard. "I told you, you don't think that I don't!"
Vivy laughed again, sipping the cold drink.
"What about Carver? Do you think Carver is handsome or what?" teased Vivi.
"Don't keep asking! I don't like your questions that seem to treat me like a child!" Violeth devoured more of her food.
Vivy didn't lose her mind to get all the answers from Violeth.
"But are you in love with him? I wonder what it's like to be married without love." Vivy fiddled with the straw in her drink glass.
Violet glared at Vivi. The story of her marriage to Carver happened suddenly without love, but somehow we feel comfortable being close to Carver, who actually Carver is much younger than Violeth.
But Violeth doesn't know how Carver feels about her. Does Carver have the same feelings as Violeth, or does he not have any feelings for their marriage.
Violeth's gaze shifted to her drink. While lost in thought, his hand fiddled with the metal straw in the glass filled with cold chocolate.
When she's with Carver, it's as delightful and sweet as the chocolate she drinks, but she doesn't know what's behind it, whether Carver was just forced, to be a part of Violeth's life.
"Violeth? Why are you daydreaming again?" Vivy moved her palm in front of Violeth's face to dispel her friend's reverie.
"Violet, what's wrong with you?"
"Huh what?" Violeth rubbed her face, until her hand accidentally hit the straw and spilled her drink.
PYAARRR!!!!
"Oh my gosh, Violeth," Vivy got up from her seat to get a tissue because some of her drink hit Violeth's shirt.
"Oops, sorry, Vivi."
"That's fine, but what about you? Don't get used to daydreaming like that!" Vivi spoke attentively.
A restaurant maid rushed over to clean up the remaining broken glass scattered on the floor.
Vivy, who realized that her question offended Violeth a little, quickly changed the subject.
"Oiya, don't forget to bring me a special gift!" Vivy said changing the subject.
"Okay, what do you want? But don't ask weird questions!" she said.
"It's up to you, but usually someone gives gifts in the form of exclusive dolls and diamond products," Vivy covered her mouth while holding back laughter.
"Okay, okay!" she said.
On the other hand, right at the House restaurant, Jackson and Richard found the place.
Richard ordered food and drinks, sat down at table number 2 which was empty. The waiter brought all the food ordered by him.
"You must find out where Carver is ASAP! My men must return and enjoy the wealth I have earned from my hard work." said Jackson.
"Yes, yes sir. But not as smooth and easy as imagined. I need a little time," replied Richard.
At table number 7....
Violeth tried to hear the conversation of two men in suits sitting at table number 2 right behind her. But Violeth didn't look back where the two men were talking about someone named 'Carver'.
Vivy was eating a Mexican roast, and wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings.
Table number 2....
"There will be a bonus for you if you bring Carver home," Jackson said.
"Okay sir. I will do well and will not let you down" Richard replied.
"Five million dollars will be put in your account when Carver agrees to come home and inherit the CEO of the company," Jackson added.
Table number 7....
Violeth was getting more and more curious as to who the man named 'Carver' was, the two men behind her were talking.
'Carver's name? Why is his name similar to the name of the man I married? But how come,' thought Violeth without looking back.
Based on his knowledge based on his father's words, Carver is an orphan who lives alone as a street vendor.
Violeth was curious because the Carver the two men were talking about sounded like the son of a billionaire about to inherit the company.
