Logan stared at Zena's chart with a scowl on his face. "Delusional disorder, huh?"
"I am familiar with amnesia that comes after childbirth, but I have never heard of a case where a patient thinks there are someone else."
Shuhua threw her head back with a huff. "Why am I still here? You said you were going to take the case by yourself. Why the hell am I still here?"
"Because you love me?" He said with a cheeky grin, but Shuhua was not about to condone such a joke. Especially after she froze and reddened. "What the hell are you talking about! Why would I love you? Yuck!"
Logan frowned. "I get it, you don't have to be so mean."
Shuhua looked away and coughed to fill the awkward silence.
"I heard she didn't even know she delivered children until she was informed." She added quickly, in an attempt to deflect the conversation away.
"Who is the doctor in charge of this case?"
"Don't ask stupid questions, it's right in the case." She spat.
Logan's brows furrowed. "You being so mean today. Dr. Mint? That old fog? I am definitely taking this case."
"Dr. Mint is in charge? Wow, but how do you plan on taking the case? That man is relentless about petty stuff like this."
Logan grinned. "Don't you know who you are talking to? I am the king of pettiness, I'll get it no matter what."

"I know you are not in here in an attempt to be a good husband." Zena said, staring across the room, right at him.
"Like you were a good wife?" Xerxes replied. "The divorce papers are on the desk beside you, let's put an end to this nightmare."
Zena turned to the side and just as he said, a folder tilted divorce was right there. Zena reached for it, along with the pen sitting on the desk. She flipped open the document.
"You need to sign on the last page," he said. She glanced at him and kept scanning through the document.
"Why is it this thick?" She asked.
"It states every thing I am suing you for," he replied.
Zena's brows furrowed. "Wait, I kicked you in the-"
A knock on the door interrupted her statement and they both turned to the door at the same time. Another very clean looking gentleman in a suit walked in.
"Sir, the results are out."
Zena's lips pressed into a thin line. "What results?"
"The DNA results."
Zena's eyes widened. 'Oh shit! I totally forgot about that.'
"Everyone is waiting in the conference room, you mother is also there." The man said to Xerxes but it wasn't so quiet that Zena couldn't hear.
"Can you walk?" Xerxes asked as he stood up. "If you can't then find a way to drag yourself to the conference room," he added before she could answer.
"I can walk." She said immediately, sliding out of bed.
He merely glanced at her, before he walked out of the room. Zena struggled to keep up with them. However, she wasn't confident nor bold enough to voice her complaints, not to this man. She panting hard when they got to the conference room.
Zena was expecting the conference to be empty save for the large dramatic table, that she saw in movies. The dramatic table was still there, but the room was far from empty.
It was like she walked into a soul sucking nine to five company. There were at least thirteen people wearing suits. Then a very distinguished older but beautiful women clad in all Chanel.
'I see there have these brands in this world as well.' She thought.
The vice director gestured at the seat opposite the table, and Zena hesitated. This was an ambush. Xerxes was sitting opposite her with this army of people, while she was sitting ok this naked side.
'Come to think of it, doesn't Xian have family? She just gave birth, is her mother not supposed to be here? Her family?'
"Who are these people?" She asked.
"These people?" The older woman replied with a rebuff.
Zena fought the urge to roll her eyes. It should be obvious to anyone with common sense that she clearly wasn't referring to her.
'Of course, his mother doesn't like me. Shocker.'
"Yes, all these people." She repeated, gesturing at the suit clad people.
"Don't ask foolish questions, Xian. You know these are my lawyers."
Zena's lips parted. "Lawyers? Why do you need all these lawyers?"
Xerxes scoffed. "Because I want to make sure I cut ties with you today."
'This bastard,' she swore internally.
"Doctor Min, go ahead."
"We have the results of the DNA test right here."
"I cannot believe that instead of celebrating the birth of my grandsons I am here, confirming they are my sons," his mother said and Zena glanced at her and then at the doctor without saying a word.
'If we are talking about unbelievable situations, I believe I win in that category.' She said to herself and she steeled herself for the results. Somehow she felt that they would come out negative. It only felt right following the trend of things that had happened to her. She didn't know what she would do, or how she would face the repercussions. But he certainly couldn't hate her more than her already did, because that would be impossible.
It would have been better, if they weren't his. Then she would be able to divorce him and walk away with her sons, however, his promise kept bothering her.
'This kids have to be his... please be his.'
"The result is..."
