Chapter 14 - 13.You let me kick you in the balls

"What?!" She exclaimed, frightened by his loud growl, she let out a sigh and stared him in the eyeballs. "You let me kick you in the balls. Am I telling a lie?"

"What the hell do you think you are doing?!" He growled and she threw her hands in the air.

"I'm sorry, I see it's an embarrassing topic. I won't discuss it anymore."

"Xian!" His mother yelled and Zena had another jump scare. "Do you realise that we are not alone?!"

Zena frowned. 'Was I the one that brought thirteen lawyers to sign a divorce contract?'

"We will add an additional suit for defamation if you keep insulting our client, Mrs Xian" The lawyer stated.

Zena looked straight into the lawyer's eyes as she replied. "I am literally holding a textbook of suits and demands, you think another one is going to scare me?"

Glancing at Xerxes she added. "Don't you think you are being too much?"

Xerxes scoffed. "What? Me? Too much?"

"I understand that I was horrible to you, but I literally just gave birth. Just yesterday! And you are already ambushing me with... thirteen lawyers. I lost my mind giving birth to your children and you could not even let me breathe before you come at me with a divorce textbook asking me to relinquish my sons." She huffed. "Look at this, look at all the people at that side of the table and here I am defenseless. Who is the bad guy in this situation?"

" Xian!" Xerxes growled but Zena had had it. "Xerxes!" She screamed back, shocking the whole room. "See? I can shout too. If you going to stoop so low to bring up such complaints then why can't I read through it and make sure you are telling the truth?"

Xerxes leaned forward on the other side of the table and stared straight into her eyes. "What else do you think I have to lose? If I am fighting a pig, I also have to get dirty, don't I?"

Zena's jaw dropped. "Are you calling me a pig?"

"If it looks like a pig and acts like one, then what is it?" He spat back.

"Well, you can take your contract and shove it up your ass!" Zena huffed, throwing the file in the air so all the many pages fell around the room like snow around them.

"Sign your document yourself!" She yelled.

Xerxes stared at the falling papers, his handsome, almost tanned skin reddening by the second. "What the hell do you think you are doing?!"

"Well, I guess a pig should not be allowed to sign important documents like this," she retorted.

Xerxes' jaw was literally on the floor and his reaction was even watered down compared to the look of shock that rested on the rest of the people in the room.

Xerxes shot to his feet and slammed his hand down on the desk... hard. "Xian!"

Zena also shot to her feet and slammed her hand on the desk. Their glaring faces mere inches from each other. "You should know that calling my name does nothing at this point so give it up. You cannot get me to sign this document so just quit it!"

"Then return my money," he said.

"I will," she replied. "I will return your stupid money, so forget about keeping me away from my sons."

Xerxes could only let out a chuckle after her statement. This woman was truly despicable.

"If you will not let go of the children willingly then we will prove to the judge that you are unfit to be a mother." The attorney said and Zena glared at the man.

He wasn't fazed.

"With your many indiscretions and incidents, it would be a walk in the park. Not to mention this," he placed a piece of paper in front of Zena.

"This is a diagnosis for your depression and delusional disorder. You are unfit to be a mother. Let's take this to court, Mrs. Xian."

Tears prickled Zena's eyes when she realized that she was losing. She could really lose those boys, the mere thought drove her to the edge.

'Xian! Xian, you bitch, help me! How am I supposed to fight a battle I have no information about?' She begged internally but Xian remained quiet.

"Sign the papers, Xian. Let's end this here, that's the last grace I will give you."

Zena swallowed. 'So this is why other people don't admit they transmigrated.' She thought bitterly. 'Well, I can't take back the past I just have to keep moving forward.'

"That diagnosis is not real."

"What? It was stamped and sealed by a renowned doctor."

"Well he lied. He never really treated me, and I do not have a delusional disorder." She stated.

"But we have testimonies from doctors and nurses saying you claimed to be someone else." The lawyers added.

Zena glanced at Xerxes before casting her gaze down. "I lied."

"What?"

She looked up and repeated. "I lied, I knew that Xerxes was going to take my boys from me so I lied about who I was, with the hope that the divorce is delayed and I get some time with them."

"Oh my gosh," a random lawyer exclaimed before apologizing immediately after.

"Well, that still is not going to be good for you." The lawyer stated.

Zena nodded softly, she looked at Xerxes as a tear rolled down her cheeks. Tears she immediately wiped away.

"Please don't take away my sons," she pleaded. "I'll do anything."

"The only thing you can do is get the hell out of my sons life." His mother spat viciously but Zena wasn't looking at her. She didn't even know why she kept looking at him, why she felt he would understand her desperation.

"She right," he said, his voice softer than either of them expected. "The only thing you can do it leave them alone."

"No!"
