"What?!" The doctor exclaimed, calming himself in an instant. "I'm sorry for that. Hello, I'm Jasper Ming, your doctor. Can you tell me your name?"
Zena looked at the doctor and the nurse. She shouldn't lie, if she didn't understand what was happening then and should try to find out. Lying would only make it harder for them to figure this out. "My name is Zena Kani."
Both the doctor and the nurse shared a look. "Is that wrong?" She asked.
"What exactly do you remember?" He asked.
She let out a small chuckle. "Well... um... I... my name, as I said earlier, is Zena Kani. I come from a pretty famous country in Africa and I am a black woman with curly hair, not-" she threw her hands in the air- "white. You get what I mean, right?"
"I am not sure I do." The doctor responded.
Zena leaned backwards and sighed. Did she really have to spell it out?
"I'm of a different race. I am a Pharmacy student in my fourth year and I am only twenty-one years old, not married. I have never even had a boyfriend in my life."
The doctor did not even try to hide his shock this time, and the nurse kept wringing her arms. Why were they so nervous? Are they not the ones in charge? The doctor whispered something she couldn't hear to the nurse, and the woman walked out of the room.
"Well..."
"You don't believe me?"
"No, no. Of course, I believe you."
"You do? You believe I am who I say I am?" she asked again, her raised brows and piercing gaze never straying.
"Uh... no, I believe you believe, you are who you say you are," He said and Zena let out a sigh.
"Look, I understand how crazy this sounds," she began and she let out a soft huff when the doctor gave her a stare that said 'Do you really?' But she continued. "But I'm also pretty confused. I got hit by a car, right? So it's possible that such a near-death experience can me to hallucinate situations and realities."
"I hate to interrupt, ma'am, but you weren't hit by a car. You are in the hospital because you just gave birth."
Zena's eyes widened. "What? I have a baby?"
"No, you have babies."
Her hand went up to her mouth and tears pricked at the sides of her eyes. "Oh my gosh, it wasn't a dream. The little babies I saw? In the operating room? That was me on that table?" She asked in a panic.
"Yes! Do you remember that?" He asked, and she nodded.
"Apart from that, do remember anything about being Xian?" The doctor asked, and she shook her head.
"Xian?"
"That's your name?"
Zena leaned backwards with her eyes cast down at the foreign hands that sat on her blanket-covered thighs. 'Xian, Xian...' she repeated in her head.
"May I have a mirror? I want to know what I look like."
The nurse sent a questioning look to the doctor, and he nodded. Soon after, a mirror was brought to her, and she took it as she expected. She didn't recognize the woman staring back at her.
Really pale fair skin, with plump red lips and a button nose. In contrast to her naturally small eyes, the ones reflected by the mirror were large, crystal-looking, with a viridian hue. Gone were her chubby cheeks. Instead, it was replaced by a slender face with a defined jawline. At least she still had her cheekbones, only they were now higher, more prominent. This face was stunning. What she was in the mirror was truly beautiful. But this wasn't her face, and she didn't recognize it. What the hell was going on?
'Wait a minute,' she cautioned herself. 'This is clearly not real. I couldn't suddenly become someone else, right? Unless... Did I transmigrate? It's crazy, but it's the only thing I can think of. Okay, the first rule of transmigration is don't tell anyone I transmigrated. Okay, that is already a bust. What next? Am I supposed to recognize this person? That's a long shot, I don't pay attention when they describe how a character looks in novels. But the names, Zhen, and Xian? I don't remember any books with that name?!"
"Mrs Zhen?" The doctor called out, breaking her internal monologue. Zena looked up at him with furrowed brows and lips pressed together. They didn't believe, of course. But what was she going to do now?
Before she knew tears began to roll down her cheeks, and soon she was sobbing. She just wanted to go home. Why wouldn't they let her go home?
"You will speak with a specialist but for now, please cooperate with the nurse for some tests. Are you okay? Zena?" The doctor asked, and she looked up in shock. He called her...
"I'm fine now, thank you." He bowed slightly and walked out of the room as the nurse began her tests.

"President Zhen, there is a phone call for you from the hospital."
Xerxes looked up in alarm. "Did something happen to my boys?"
"No, not them. Xian Mina has woken up."
"What?"
