After his speech, Aaron immediately used his transition ability to launch an attack on Alshain. Alshain was surprised by this attack, as he was taken aback by the fact that someone so young and seemingly weak could attack him with such high speed.
Alshain swiftly intercepted Aaron's sword with a high-speed clash, resulting in a resounding "CLANG" echoing throughout the area. Aaron's sword collided with Alshain's claw, and the impact created a loud noise reverberating in the hall.
Immediately after parrying the sword, Alshain kicked Aaron and sent him flying away. After soaring through the air for about three seconds, Aaron crashed to the ground, letting out a small groan.
"Ah!'' Upon hearing this groan, the people of Earth were filled with fear because they had witnessed the incredible speed at which he had moved, yet it seemed to have only left a scratch on that monster.
At the same time, Alshain was also quite astonished as he noticed the scratch on his hand after Aaron's sword attack. Realizing this, Alshain quickly recovered from his surprise and spoke aloud:
"You truly are a remarkable child, Master Corbyn. With your current state, you may very well be the strongest person on Earth." All of humanity's eyes were fixated on Aaron, who was lying on the ground, waiting for his response, and their anticipation was immediately met:
"Uh! Well... I wouldn't be so sure about that, Lord Alshain. Personally, I don't consider myself the strongest. I'm certain that there are individuals stronger than me even in the United Kingdom alone." Aaron said as he struggled to his feet, accompanied by intense pain and coughing.
Upon hearing these words, Alshain smiled and said, "Look at yourself, calling yourself egoistic. You left a mark on my claw. Believe me, there aren't many beings capable of doing that within your knowledge."
As Aaron listened to Alshain, he took out a health potion from his inventory and drank it. His health was immediately restored, and Aaron stood tall, ready for battle.
Seeing Aaron's stance, Alshain's anger reached its peak. He had thought that he could crush the boy's courage and determination with a single attack. However, there was something he didn't know. This boy, not just any child, had stood before a Great Dragon and challenged it, even killed it. That's why the courage of this young one couldn't be easily broken. It was simply impossible; his will was unbreakable.
Finally, Alshain couldn't resist anymore and lunged at Aaron with all his speed. Aaron quickly jumped back and raised his sword to defend himself. Seeing that Aaron had evaded his attack, Alshain spoke angrily:
"You're truly fast. I can't believe that you can keep up with me in speed without using my bestowed powers. I never thought I would encounter such a person!"
Upon hearing these words, Aaron respectfully nodded his head in gratitude, and he launched a series of attacks against Alshain. Within a short period, approximately ten exchanges of moves took place. Aaron hadn't planned on getting angry or thinking negatively. He simply aimed to savor the taste of this battle, which he had missed in his previous life. That's why a beautiful smile adorned his face.
Alshain, who was countering Aaron's consecutive attacks, saw the joyful expression on the young man's face and became even angrier. Unable to control his nerves any longer, Alshain finally activated his passive ability.
An aura of lightning began to envelop Alshain, and it suddenly overflowed. Aaron noticed this and immediately jumped back using his teleportation ability, which had finished its cooldown. He realized that Alshain was using one of the abilities of the Constellation fragment, so he reacted by quickly moving away.
"You! I tried to treat you well and offer you a painless death, but you! You ungrateful brat!" Alshain suddenly shouted. The entire world noticed the change in demeanor of this monster, who had been calm and gentle just a few minutes ago, and they were frightened by this transformation.
"Oh, look at this, everyone! It seems that Lord Alshain is revealing his true colors on the canvas," Aaron sarcastically remarked with a demeaning look on his face. He believed that trying to provoke Alshain would lead nowhere because he considered himself highly intelligent. However, he was mistaken. After all, even Alshain was a monster.
Alshain didn't want to endure this humiliation any longer and swiftly charged at Aaron, utilizing his lightning aura.
Alshain's claws had turned into sharp dagger-like claws, and on top of that, these daggers were imbued with lightning.
Although Aaron's speed was lower than his opponent's, he did his best to defend against the attacks of the Constellation fragment.
The entire world was witnessing one astonishment after another. People watching the live broadcast from all over were seeing how this young man stood up against the monster and they respected him for it.
Aaron finally couldn't withstand the damage any longer and was thrown back by the final blow delivered by Alshain. He looked at the furious figure standing before him and started to think about what he should do:
"What should I do? If I use the shield, maybe I can create a new ability. But a weak one won't be effective against him, and the stronger ones consume too much mana. What should I do?"
Realizing that it was the best option, Aaron took out the shield parchment (talisman) from his inventory and shouted aloud:
"Activate the shield!"
After he spoke those words, Alshain was suddenly propelled backward at an incredible speed due to a strange energy and crashed heavily into one of the golden walls of his palace.
After collecting himself in a brief moment and getting back on his feet, he started to look at the young man before him with eyes reddened with anger.
A shield had formed around the young man, extending about 5 meters around him, appearing to protect him. Thinking he could destroy this shield, Alshain used another one of his abilities and gathered his lightning aura in his hand, then struck the shield at high speed.
As a result, a massive cloud of dust rose into the air, obscuring the view, while the whole world wondered what had happened. Amidst the suspense, a scream pierced the air:
"ARGH!!"
It was Alshain's voice. As the dust cloud slowly settled, everyone had witnessed Alshain's hand... It had been severely shattered.
"You scoundrel! What is this thing!? Won't you fight like a real warrior? And you call yourself noble!" the enraged Constellation piece hurled insults one after another, but finally fell silent and stared at Aaron. Immediately after that, a sentence emerged from the young man inside the shield:
"This is called tactical retreat, you stupid star."
Upon hearing Aaron's words, Alshain's anger reached new heights, and his face, which was originally pure white, turned crimson red. With a single move, a golden sword materialized in his hand, and he began striking the shield where his opponent was trapped with consecutive blows.
The whole world was eagerly watching the events unfold, astonished by Alshain's fury and the relentless provocation of the young man before him. Of course, humanity as a whole believed that Aaron would meet his end here, after all, that shield couldn't protect him indefinitely, could it?
"You lowly creature! How dare you block my attacks!" he suddenly shouted.
"Be quiet for a moment, we're doing something here," Aaron said with disdainful eyes fixed on Alshain, and in response, Alshain let out a scream of intense anger, "AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
Seeing Alshain shouting at him, Aaron remained unfazed, as he had two reasons for entering this shield: first, to rest a little, and second, to create a new ability.
If he could create an ability that would be useful against Alshain, his chances of killing him would increase. Currently, the only way to kill him was to distract his attention, but Aaron knew very well that it was not possible with his current state.
"You scoundrel! A Constellation like me! A divine power with divine abilities!" Alshain continued shouting.
Upon hearing Alshain's words, Aaron's eyes suddenly widened, and he said aloud, "Of course!"
"Why am I even trying to create a low-level ability? Am I not the God of Elements?! Why shouldn't I possess a divine ability?!!" his mind pondered with fury.
Every thought Aaron had at that moment made perfect sense. After all, he had a class, and this class was created with fragments of not just one, but several... no, too many Gods. Perhaps the number of classes that could touch the abilities of this class was fewer than the fingers on a hand, or maybe such a class didn't even exist!
Aaron gathered his focus as much as he could, trying to consolidate his idea of what kind of ability he wanted to create. The ability he would create had to be so powerful that it would be considered comparable to the one bestowed upon him by the Goddess Nyx.
"Come on... Come on...!" Aaron muttered to himself, unable to find what he would create even after all that thinking. Every deity, goddess, demon, monster, and every other being that came to mind didn't contribute anything to his idea. It was as if all his memories had betrayed him, abandoning him to his demise. For the first time in his life, Aaron couldn't think of anything.
But mere power wouldn't be enough; it couldn't be. Creating such an ability with such a small amount of mana would consume mana itself, let alone considering it. What should he do?
"All beings knelt before me in the past! Forward High Elves! Forward High Vampires! Even Forward High Dragons! Each of them gathered before me to worship, but you, a mere human, subject me to such humiliation! You wretch!" Alshain continued to mutter and scream.
Hearing Alshain's words once again, Aaron's eyes opened wide, and he thought to himself:
"Dragon? Of course! Alshain, you fool, you've given me excellent material." Aaron thought, and a smile began to form on his face.
The citizens of the world were shocked by this smile. Even Alshain himself couldn't escape this shock. The reason was simple: the young man's smile frightened him.
When Aaron heard Alshain mention the "Supreme Dragons," memories of his battle with the Supreme Dragon Elajiah resurfaced in his mind.
Through the system, when fighting a monster, one could see the names of the abilities the monster used. Aaron, being a human who had fought countless monsters, had a mental catalogue of abilities that was perhaps ten times greater than the total number of abilities known to all the people on Earth, both in his previous life and in this one.
That's why the memories of his last battle with the Supreme Dragon Elajiah started playing in his mind. The abilities used by the monster he fought were looping in his mind. Aaron's thoughts were arranging themselves and repeating, as if he was experiencing an enlightenment.
Just then, a notification popped up from the system:
"Congratulations, your God of Elements/Ability Creation ability has reached the Master level, and the required mana amount has decreased to 3/1."
At that moment, Aaron's thoughts had finished arranging themselves, and he had chosen the ability he would create. Then he saw the notification in front of him, and his eyes sparkled. The system was helping him. Again.
"I've gained enlightenment, and my ability leveled up, but it's still not enough... It's impossible," he thought sadly.
As soon as he thought that, the dark aura surrounding him grew even darker, and a beautiful voice played in his mind, saying, "This time, I'll pay in your place."
This voice belonged to the goddess Nyx. Everything happened so quickly. Aaron's mana was increasing at an enormous rate with each passing second:
"120,000/18,000"... "180,000/18,000"... "240,000"... "1,100,000/18,000"...
Due to the sudden surge of mana, Aaron's nose started bleeding, and he felt dizzy. After quickly scanning his memories, everything was ready for his ability. Now all he had to do was hope that he had enough mana.
"Thank you," Aaron said, looking at the shadow within himself.
Upon hearing this, Alshain looked at the young man in front of him with anger and bewilderment. Suddenly, he spoke, "What?"
"Create, Instinct of the Supreme Dragon."
As Aaron shouted these words, his aura began to surge and grow stronger. Within his existing dark aura, a crimson aura started to form, and it didn't stop until it matched the power of the dark aura bestowed upon him by the goddess.
Alshain outside the shield and the citizens of the world who were witnessing this power through the system were baffled. The young man before them had never used his aura until now, always keeping it passive. So how could it help him "now"?
"I no longer need to run. Now we can fight properly, Lord Alshain," Aaron said, standing up. Then he dissipated the shield around him and finally opened his eyes.
Just by looking into Aaron's eyes, Alshain took a step back about 10 meters and asked, "What... did you do?"
"What did I do? I simply made the move that will defeat you," Aaron replied.
"Why? Does it seem too far-fetched?" Aaron expressed.
"Of course, and you're asking about it," Alshain said, calming down.
"Then, in that case, Master Alshain, you are in for a great disappointment." Hearing these words, Alshain, who had calmed down, became angry again and couldn't stay still. Not only did this young man dare to oppose him, but he also claimed he could defeat him. How could he not get angry?
Enraged, Alshain couldn't hold back his speed any longer and launched an attack towards Aaron. However, Aaron evaded the attack using his ability "Insict of the Supreme Dragon" and, on top of that, delivered a powerful sword strike to Alshain.
Alshain couldn't defend against Aaron's sword strike, and a deep cut appeared on his arm. Normally, Aaron's sword would not be able to cut Alshain, but at that moment, he was using both the "Instinct of the Noble Dragon" and the "Fury of Elajiah" abilities, which combined and increased his powers.
"Aaargh!" Alshain groaned and looked into Aaron's eyes. With a single serious glance, he deciphered the changes in him and saw it all.
"Your eyes have changed color. What kind of ability is this?" Alshain said, accompanied by pain.
"These eyes? They're nothing special, no need to wonder," Aaron replied, somewhat mocking.
Understanding this mockery, Alshain became even angrier. The lightning energy in the area began to surge and intensify.
"So, you're going to use all your power, huh?" Aaron thought. He believed that the reason for the surge of energy in the area was Alshain enhancing his power, and in this line of thought, he was quite right. The lightning energy around and within the area had revolted and gathered around Alshain.
Within about 10 seconds, Alshain's lightning aura underwent a transformation. Seeing this, Aaron spoke:
"Finally, you're starting to resemble the Aquila Constellation, Master Alshain."
"You lowly creature! I have tolerated you enough; now, you are nothing more than dead flesh!" Alshain shouted as the lightning around him went berserk.
Hearing these words, Aaron realized that it was time to get serious and said:
"If I am to die, then let me unleash all my power, shall we?"
Alshain and the rest of the world were astonished by this because Aaron had already emitted more than the personal power anyone on Earth could possess, and he was still claiming that it wasn't his full power. How could they not be shocked?
"So, you're saying this isn't your full power?" Alshain said, both angry and bewildered.
"Mhm. Don't tell me you thought I would unleash all my power and tricks the first time we fought. Who would do such a foolish thing?" Aaron chuckled.
"Well then, let's see your full power, little lord!" Alshain shouted as the lightning around him surged even more.
Hearing these words, Aaron suddenly sheathed his sword and sent it to his inventory. Then, he drew the Flame Spear of the Dark Night from the same place, and a high aura of flames formed around him. Next, he used the ability "Aura of the Goddess" and a pitch-black aura spread in a 30-meter radius around him. After that, he extended the Fury of Elajiah ability throughout his entire body, causing the dark aura to go insane. Seeing this, Alshain was astonished.
At that moment, Alshain felt something strange in his body. He immediately looked at the source of the oddity, his left arm, and then his eyes slowly shifted to his hand. He was surprised because... his hands were trembling.
"What is this? Am I afraid?"
"My hands... trembling? No! It can't be! A God like me cannot fear a mere child!"
While Alshain was lost in thought, he noticed that his lightning aura was weakening and tried to understand why. What he saw shocked him. When he looked around, he saw that the dark aura emitted by the young man in front of him was devouring his lightning.
"But that's not all," Aaron calmly said.
Upon hearing this, Alshain and the people of Earth were once again shocked. How could it not be over yet? How could he have more?
After saying this, Aaron activated the abilities of the Eye of the God and the Instinct of the Noble Dragon simultaneously. Then, his eyes turned bright red, and his hair turned pure white.
At that moment, Alshain understood why this young man had come to hunt him down alone. At that moment, Alshain realized that he himself was not the true God.
It was like the moment of birth for a new deity.
"You may die now, Lord Alshain," Aaron said, activating a transition ability on top of all the abilities he had used. Then he launched his most powerful attack at Alshain. A cloud of dust formed, silence filled the air, and for a full 10 seconds, there was no sound. Then a sound emerged: a "thud." Someone had collided with the wall of Alshain's palace.
The entire world watched in astonishment. They couldn't see anything in the dust cloud, but they could sense the outcome as if they knew it already.
After a short while, the dust settled, and everything became visible. Aaron stood covered in blood, yet still standing, staring at the wall in front of him.
The whole world went insane. This young man who had only launched a single serious attack had truly defeated the power before him. This child was like a God, like a God who had come to kill this little constellation for his sins.
As everyone pondered these thoughts, two sounds came from different parts of the area:
"Ugh."
"Kugh!"
One of the sounds belonged to Aaron, and the other to Alshain. They were both coughing up blood, and Aaron had fallen to his knees, while Alshain was stuck to the wall like a nail. After all this, Alshain spoke:
"HAHA... HAHAHAHA!" Alshain laughed with a chilling laugh in his injured state, oblivious to everything around him.
"You will all see. Your world will collapse, and you won't be able to do anything, including you. Wait carefully until we descend to the surface!" he shouted, locking his eyes onto the young man before him.
Seeing those eyes, Aaron slowly stood up in astonishment and spoke:
"Even if there is only one person left, there will always be someone to stand against you. I will save them even if it costs me my life."
Upon hearing these words, Alshain burst into laughter once again. "HAHAHAHAHA... An ordinary human challenging the heavens and the underground." Immediately after saying this, his expression dropped slightly. He certainly did not expect to be defeated.
"Come then, let's talk before I die," Alshain said, devoid of anger and arrogance.
"If Lord Alshain wishes it, I am listening," Aaron responded, and he approached Alshain and sat down on the ground.
