The group had gathered in front of the mansion, fully prepared with weapons in almost every accessible area of the seven members. Knives, swords, spears, bows and arrows, and staffs—these were all intimidating to the human eye.
"Sir Kevin, it's time to go." Aaron said quietly towards Kevin inside the mansion.
Upon hearing these words, Kevin turned to Aaron and spoke in a low voice, "My Lord, if it wouldn't trouble you, may I have a minute to bid farewell?"
When Kevin mentioned farewell, he was referring to the mansion he had been residing in for a long time. For him, this mansion held great value. It was quite understandable since even before the birth of the lady and master's children, Kevin had been serving them in this mansion. It was not just their home, but also his own.
"I understand. Enjoy it to the fullest." Aaron replied, looking at Kevin with understanding and a hint of sadness.
"My Lord, why was Mr. Kevin talking about farewell?" April asked.
"Of course, a lot of people find many things to hold onto, but it seems that for Kevin, it wasn't the case. He seems to value this mansion even more than the people he serves, and that's quite understandable. After all, a significant portion of his life has been spent within these walls," Aaron said, with a slight upturn of his lips.
"I understand," April responded to Aaron's words.
"Now let's review everything, my children. I believe you have the rotation plan in mind," Aaron said and continued speaking after seeing everyone nodding their heads in agreement.
"Pule! You're the team's assassin. Adara and Nicole! You're the team's mages. Hector! You're the team's tank. April and June! Both of you are the team's snipers. Camelia! You're the team's spear-wielder. Make sure you don't forget what I just said," Aaron said sternly to each of them.
Each member of the group understood Aaron's words and nodded in response.
"And lastly, Kevin, you're the team's semi-tank and fighter," Aaron said with a touch of tenderness because in his previous life, one of the few tasks he didn't engage in was training "soldiers" in the fighter class. In this regard, he had a somewhat naive personality and way of thinking.
Of course, even though he had a somewhat naive demeanor, Aaron was confident in his abilities in this regard. After all, he wasn't an ordinary A-level or S-level trainer in his previous life; he was an X-level, and there were very few like him in the world.
"I'm here, my Lord. I apologize for keeping you waiting and any rudeness on my part," Kevin said as he stepped out of the door.
"Excellent! Let's go," Aaron said, looking at Kevin.
Everything was calm, and the plan was straightforward. Enter Sheffield, clear it out, and then definitely, without a doubt, enter Buxton. Buxton was especially advantageous because in his previous life, Aaron frequently visited Buxton. It was an area known for its hot springs. Moreover, there were plenty of dungeons around, making it an economically viable settlement for the hot springs and a time-saving location for hunters.
After a considerable amount of time, the group had reached the borders of Leeds. Then a notification appeared in front of the group leader:
"Exiting Leeds City, England." Seeing this notification, Aaron addressed the group aloud, "We have exited Leeds. Be vigilant and take your steps calmly but swiftly." Upon hearing these words, the group nodded in agreement, and as Aaron had instructed, their steps became slightly quieter but faster.
"We will proceed straight ahead from here. Stay focused, as we may encounter monsters more frequently from now on," Aaron said aloud to the group.
Upon hearing this, the group members had taken up at least one type of weapon in their hands and continued their journey. Kevin, on the other hand, had wielded the "solid silver short sword" that Aaron had given him just before their departure.
-----
Just as Aaron had predicted, they began encountering monsters shortly before entering Sheffield.
Amongst these monsters were Lycan Wolves and even Abyss Bears, along with many other types of creatures. This occupied Aaron's mind, as he knew that in his previous life, there were more monsters here, although they weren't as powerful.
Feeling the need to be more cautious, Aaron activated his ability, Eyes of the God, and at that moment, his hair turned pure white. Despite his worries and curiosity, his thoughts were entirely focused and rare.
He then drew his sword from its sheath at his waist, equipping his gear like everyone else.
The group noticed that something truly challenging and strange was happening if even their leader drew his sword from its sheath.
"Be careful, you've fought Lycan Wolves before, but their numbers are greater. A single moment of carelessness can make you their prey. Furthermore, there are Abyss Bears. Other monsters won't pose much of a problem, but beware of the Abyss Bears; a single one is equal to the strength of three Lycan Wolves," Aaron said in a serious and calm tone.
Upon hearing this, the group nodded once again, and Camelia and Pule increased their pace, taking the lead in front of their masters. Aaron smiled, thinking to himself, "Just like in the old days."
"Entering Sheffield City, England," Aaron shouted loudly when he saw the system notification in front of him.
"Understood!" came a loud response from the group around him.
And so, the group entered Sheffield City and began slaughtering the monsters. It was strange to Aaron that they had already killed so many creatures even before entering the Sheffield region. Initially, he thought there might be a new Constellation in the area, different from his previous life. However, that wasn't possible because no Constellation would be foolish enough to create new monsters when they had the option of using boss monsters. They were too lazy to even lift a finger for such a task.
Lost in these thoughts, Aaron slightly increased his pace and moved ahead of the group. Then, he drew his valuable sword from its sheath on his left side and began slashing through the monsters.
"Low-grade Abyss Bear slain. Earned 1040 experience points."
"Low-level Mountain Lion slain. Earned 2133 experience points."
The group noticed that Aaron had taken the lead and was picking up the pace with each firm step. They managed to increase their own speed and continued to follow their master swiftly.
Nicole spoke up, voicing her question, "My Lord, are we trying to reach a specific place?" Upon hearing this question, Aaron replied, "Yes, there's something I need to confirm! And Hector, if we encounter any dangerous situation, protect Nicole and Adara at all costs. Understood?"
"Understood, my Lord!" Hector responded instantly and equipped the half-real black silver shield he obtained with his earned points.
Aaron and the group quickly approached the World Tower located in the center of Sheffield. As the leader of the group, Aaron's mind was quite perplexed, as his thoughts were scattered. On one hand, he questioned if there was a Constellation foolish enough to create such low-level monsters. On the other hand, he doubted the presence of people so incompetent and weak that they could already cause one or more dungeon breakouts. And yet, he also contemplated the possibility of a boss monster powerful enough to create chimeras, which could be even more terrifying than a Constellation, emerging in this city.
The first option was that if this was not a mere part but an actual Constellation, the battle would be one-sided.
The second option, the safest one, would involve embarking on an adventure that would lead to dungeon breakouts and the cleansing of the dungeons themselves.
The third option was less harmful than facing a real Constellation. It involved fighting against a part of it and even potentially facing the creator of the 'Chimeras,' which could be as dangerous as or even more dangerous than a Constellation.
However, although this possibility seemed terrifying to him, Aaron did not give it much likelihood. So far, there had been no Chimeras around, not even the small and weak ones referred to as baby Chimeras.
The only concern for Aaron was that if this creator of Chimeras was above Rank D, it would be impossible for him to defeat them at his current level.
The creator of the Chimeras, also known as the "Mad Scientist," the boss monster, was resistant to many things. These included specific poisons, earth and air magic, and the dark resistances that posed a significant challenge to Aaron.
In fact, if Aaron were to use his Goddess's Aura ability alongside the Mad Scientist and if the boss monster were at Rank D or higher, it would mean that the monster could absorb and utilize this ability to its advantage.
That's how powerful a Chimera creator was.
However, this didn't mean that they had no weaknesses. The sight of the boss monster meant almost everything to it because if the vision of a Mad Scientist controlling most of the Chimeras was impaired, it could lose control over them. While the boss monster possessed its own spells, its vision was its greatest weakness.
Additionally, it had some vulnerabilities to fire and high-level ice magic (such as Ice Accumulation and Black Ice Flower abilities), although to a lesser extent.
Aaron could only hope that his assumptions were incorrect.
