Chapter 34 - Volume 2 - Chapter 6: Wasn't Expecting This

"Flames of Creation (Impossible) (Active)

This is an ability that allows the precise control of pink, red, orange, yellow, white, green, turquoise, blue, purple, and black flames that were used in the creation of the universe. These flames have been fundamental in the creation of life, the formation of souls, and even the creation of space itself. Let these flames return to you, O God of Elements.

Cooldown: None

Mana: 1000 in 2 seconds"

Aaron was shocked by the consecutive notifications. His eyes were wide open, and his mouth was speechless.

He couldn't say anything, and even if he could, finding the right words seemed impossible. However, on the other side—the realm of higher beings—things were different.

/////

"How is this possible?" Zeus, the God of Thunder, shouted in the midst of the realm of higher beings.

"I agree, this is too much! We cannot give him a fire that could burn the entire world, no matter how much we love him!" Hades, the God of the Underworld, shouted.

All eyes turned to the Creator God, and everyone had seen his face. The God... was astonished?

"Master?" said Nyx, the Goddess of the Night, and then asked, "What is your decision?"

"If the universe has chosen him, then there is nothing I can do. I trust in the universe and support its decision to choose him as its ruler once again," said the God, with a sense of astonishment.

"But, my Lord, what if this power changes our beloved child? Our fear is not about giving him power, but about giving him a power that could change him," said Nyx, the Goddess of the Night.

"I want to trust the universe I created once more, and I believe in Aaron. Nyx, the Goddess of the Night, do you need anything else?" said the God, with all his emotions.

Upon hearing these words, the entire realm was truly silent this time.

"We momentarily lost control due to our concern. Please forgive our impertinence, our Lord," said Hades, the God of the Underworld, kneeling down in prostration. Seeing Hades' actions, every being in the realm of higher beings, except Nyx, repeated his actions and knelt down in prostration.

Witnessing this, the Creator God said, "Faith can sometimes be a more valuable weapon than anything else. Pray that the previous mistake is not repeated."

Within the safe zone, flames were dancing around Aaron. They resembled little children playing on the street, chasing each other and seeking attention, as if... they were alive.

"Haha..." Aaron chuckled with pure joy, looking at the flames.

Suddenly, the closed door was kicked open, and Kevin rushed in.

"MY LORD, ARE YOU OKAY!?" he shouted, and right after shouting, he saw Aaron and the flames surrounding him.

Just looking at the flames frightened him. The flames were so intimidating, healing, refreshing, warm, and so much more that simply looking at them was suffocating him.

"I'm fine, Master Kevin, don't worry," Aaron said with a perfect smile.

"I... understand, with your permission," Kevin said, trembling, and left the room.

"What happened..." Aaron thought. He was lost in his thoughts: "What was that described in the notifications? What was that feeling of sadness I sensed from the sentences—what am I missing?" But he couldn't answer any of these questions; at least for now, he didn't have enough knowledge or intelligence to answer them.

After a few minutes, the flames suddenly started to slow down. They appeared tired, as if each one of them was climbing onto Aaron like a cat, seeking attention, and then they vanished.

Everything happened so quickly. Yes, he had meditated for five days, but it hadn't even been three or four minutes since the flames appeared. In the span of about ten minutes, he had obtained the best thing he could possibly have.

He immediately opened his inventory and examined the properties of the Supreme Dragon Egg:

"Supreme Dragon Egg

The egg of the 12th Supreme Dragon, Elajiah, one of the mightiest of the Supreme Dragons. It is a living being that could potentially be one of the strongest of its kind, capable of challenging even the Gods themselves.

The incubation rate had increased by nearly 4%, which was a significant advancement. After this progress, the egg had taken on a colorful hue, but the darkness itself could still be seen on top of the egg.

"Perfect..." Aaron said, closing his inventory. He then opened the system profile and was shocked by what he saw.

One of his previously hidden abilities had become visible, indicating that the other two hidden abilities would also be unlocked under special conditions and would be related to his class. However, this didn't make sense at all. These locked parts had been in the system profile since he returned and received his card. Unless... was it destiny?

He decided to set aside this perplexing topic for now, as he had an important mission at hand—hunting the Mad Scientist.

He really wanted to go out immediately and use his new ability, but he couldn't. Unfortunately, the ability required a tremendous amount of mana consumption.

So he stood up, left the room, and gathered the entire group. "Get ready, we're starting," he said.

-----

A lot had happened in the past few days, from the emergence of the Mad Scientist to Aaron gaining a new ability. Everything had happened so quickly that he had grown stronger within a few days, but it had also given the enemy a chance to grow stronger.

All he could do now was hope that his assumptions were wrong.

Aaron and his group were quickly moving through Rotherham. His goal was to kill the Mad Scientist and cleanse Rotherham of all the carnage.

"Be careful, the mana is getting even more polluted," he said, continuing to move faster. The group understood these words and diligently surveyed their surroundings.

"I hope we're lucky enough that the only thing we have to fight is the Mad Scientist," Aaron said aloud.

"What does that mean, sir?" Camelia asked.

"The Mad Scientist is a very annoying individual. Depending on his level, there's even a possibility he could take control of the small boss monsters. Assuming Sheffield is at a normal danger level, this possibility is high," Aaron said seriously.

Upon hearing this, the group became worried, and they should be. That was the reason why the creator of a Chimera was so dangerous. Individuals without strong determination couldn't stand up against him.

After a few minutes, Aaron felt the mana in the area instantly and suddenly felt nauseated. The mana in the area was so polluted and depleted that it made even his stomach churn.

"Be cautious, we're in that bastard's territory," Aaron said calmly but with utmost seriousness.

The entire group immediately drew their weapons and assumed the positions Aaron had taught them. Hector was in the front, followed by Adara and Nicole, with April and June behind them, and protecting them were Camelia and Pule.

Teaching them a proper combat position had greatly reassured him. The children had developed significantly, and he had left the hunting to them, keeping his level somewhat stable. He was genuinely pleased with this decision.

Just as he was about to say something to Kevin, an arrow suddenly stopped in front of him. Everyone was shocked, including Aaron.

At that moment, a system notification appeared in front of Aaron:

"Do you want to start the broadcast?

Yes/No"

Although seeing this notification surprised him, Aaron immediately pressed "Yes." This was a dangerous entity, and everyone needed to learn how to defeat him.

Within seconds, millions of people had entered the system broadcast and were watching him. Then Aaron turned to Kevin and said, "Kevin, take care of whatever is in front of you." He said it decisively, with a smile on his face.

"At your command, my Lord," Kevin said earnestly and tapped his gloves together.

"I didn't expect you to attack so soon, you bastard!" Aaron shouted in the middle of the area.

The whole world, including the group, tried to understand the reason behind Aaron's rude words. The group thought that they were being attacked by a human group.

"Hehhehheh... These are too high words for someone who invaded my territory," a gloomy, high-pitched, and disgusting voice said suddenly.

The group was disoriented and their heads were spinning just because of that voice. Aaron noticed it and activated his ability, Frost Flower of Dark Ice, covering a 15-meter area with dark ice. The group came back to life, and the polluted mana was cleansed. Immediately after, the gloomy, high-pitched, and disgusting voice rose again.

"As expected from someone who destroyed half of my soul, at least you can cleanse the polluted mana I created," the voice said.

"You're easy. Come down and let's fight," Aaron said arrogantly with a smile.

The whole world had never expected him to say such a thing. After all, Aaron was seen as gentle, compassionate, and cautious in their eyes. Oh, if they only knew his true nature.

"You're being disrespectful. I was complimenting you. Why don't you consider joining my side?" the voice said, this time with a condescending tone.

"Join your side? You can only dream about it," Aaron said, his smile fading and a hint of anger creeping in.

"But come on, I'm not that bad, am I? I'm a monster trying to make the world safe for you," the disgusting voice said happily.

"You're filth. You're a monster who experiments on creatures, humans, and boss monsters. Today, your life as you know it will come to an end. This battle won't end until one of us falls," Aaron said, gritting his teeth. Anyone who looked at him could tell how furious he was.

Unable to bear his anger any longer, Aaron summoned his Spear of Dark Night Flames and began staring intently at a specific spot. No one understood why he was looking there, but he stood tall, staring at the same spot and displaying his frustration.

Suddenly, he gripped the spear tighter than usual and tensed all the muscles in his body. Then, using all his strength, he hurled the spear at the spot he had been fixated on with tremendous speed.

The spear was so fast that no one could fully see what happened, but green blood was flowing from the spot where the spear had been aimed.

"You! Ugh!!" the disgusting voice said, vomiting blood.

"What happened? I thought we were starting the fight, you scum," Aaron said, his anger not diminishing but rather increasing.

"I WILL KILL YOU!" the disgusting voice shouted, and suddenly a combination of different monster types, humans with extra limbs, and even controlled boss monsters emerged from inside each building.

"Let's begin," Aaron said, looking at the group and then wings of pure white started to emerge from his back. The group, as well as the whole world, was stunned. Was the child in front of them an angel? Was that why he was so powerful?

"You? Did you kill a Constellation?" the disgusting voice asked, sounding surprised this time.

"Did it take you that long to figure it out?" Aaron asked, annoyed but mocking.

People had finally understood what was happening. Alshain must have given him a special ability.

"This ability removes the greatest limit of humanity," Aaron said seriously.

"Everyone, protect me now!" the disgusting voice shouted, and dozens of boss monsters stood in front of him. The invisibility of the Mad Scientist had long been lifted, so everyone could see his despicable face and loathsome personality with their own eyes.

"This protection won't be enough. Even if you're just a part of it, a Constellation can kill hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands of boss monsters on their own," Aaron said, indicating that he could do the same.

"Hah... haha, Lord Aaron, there may have been a misunderstanding. You're not the one I wanted to attack. I wanted to scare and capture you because you entered my territory," the disgusting voice said politely. Clearly, it was a trap, and if he allowed even a second of hesitation, everyone present would die.

"What are you talking about? You must die. You're a threat to everyone," Aaron said, a little disgusted.

"But, my Lord, if you kill me, what purpose will those wings serve? What if they get stained and resemble a demon?" the disgusting voice said politely.

"If necessary, I can become an angel, I can even turn into a demon. You shouldn't exist, just like you." Aaron said angrily.

"But I'm not that bad, am I?" the disgusting voice said.

"Actually, you're worse. You're a psychopath who experiments on people," Aaron said, and the wings behind him suddenly started to burn with flames of different colors. His hair turned blood red, his eyes became crimson, and then some strands of his hair ignited with the elemental colors of creation. Aaron locked his gaze onto the Mad Scientist and said, "You will die. Even if it's not for anyone else, I will avenge that child."
