As the creature emerged into the sunlight, Eveloria could finally discern its features with clarity.
It presented a fearsome amalgamation of a sleek panther and a sinuous serpent. Its lithe form was covered in mossy green fur and scales, blending seamlessly into the forest's underbrush. The panther's head, adorned with piercing emerald-green eyes, and the coiled snake head completed its unique and elusive appearance.
A low hiss escaped the creature, sending shivers down Eveloria's spine and causing her to involuntarily shiver. This was an entirely unfamiliar creature to her.
"This is a forest chimera," she realized in astonishment, observing its intense green eyes fixated on her with an almost predatory intent. The creature moved gracefully and fluidly towards her, like a river in motion. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves in the trees above.
