The first one who returned is Christine, she was holding a bow without an arrow and she is wearing an outfit made from a hide of a dungeon monster.
Her weapon and outfit is a common grade class that has the potential to reach rare class when polish properly.
"You've come early, can you come here? I'll take a look at your weapon." I said and she move closer to me and handed me her weapon.
"This bow is made from the bone of the monster mantis. It can hold my mana well without breaking so it's much better than ordinary bow." She explains while I was holding her bow.
"It's quite nice. Let me put runes in it so it could perform a little better. Will that be ok with you?" I ask.
"Is that possible? Then please feel free to do it."
She happily agreed with me.
I then control my mana ang control the mana in the weapon as well, creating magical runes. Unlike runes that needed to be drawn by either ink, blood, or paint. Magical rune is a rune that has been put into things using mana formation, it is a rune that could only perform one function, and that is to suck mana to increase the strength and durability of the thing that it has been embedded with. If I have a paint with me right now it would be best to paint this one instead since written runes are much more effective than this one.
It didn't take long and I handed her the bow.
"It's here, it now has the function of sucking mana in the surroundings and increase its own durability and strength even without external help."
She look at me with glistening eyes while holding her bow.
"Thank you. I didn't expect you to be this kind. How much should I pay for it?" She ask.
I didn't know that a kind person and cheapskate one could exists at the same time.
If I really want money from the start, I would tell her immediately than making a move first and ask for compensation later on. It's not uncommon for me to do simple things for free without expecting something in return. It's just natural to me that I don't even think of it when it happens.
"Nahh, don't bother, it's not a big deal. Come here I'll do the same thing to your clothes as well. By the way what is it made of?"
She came closer to me and I signaled her to turn her back and she did it.
"It's made from a skin of some lizard that has been cut using skill to look like this. Although very hot inside, it could absorb impact very well. By the way are you sure that it's fine not to pay you for this?"
"Yes don't worry. It's not a big deal really." I said and I was done already as well.
The skin of this monster is a good quality, base on my observation. It's a shame that it is not processed well but there's nothing we could do about it since they didn't know how to do it.
"By the way, your ring, necklace, and that bracelet, what are they? They are giving this foreboding sense to me. Your aura and mana alone is already creepy enough but with those, you are like a walking grim ripper. If not for your looks, no awakened would probably dare to approach you. Sorry to say this please don't be offended."
Oh, If I recall correctly, no one should be able to feel any pressure from it. Unless I want others to feel it.
"I get that a lot but tell me more about my items? How did you detect something out from them? If I recall correctly, no one should be able to feel the powers in this items unless I want to reveal it."
"I have this passive skill called energy detection. Everything that has energy will not escape my eye. Tell me are they magic items? Did you create them?"
Oh, she has energy detection skill? Something that i have but not considered as a skill according to the knowledge that has been put into my brain.
That's probably the reason why she got the nickname Hawk eye. It's impossible to escape her if you are within her range, I know it very well since it's one of my natural ability that I use daily.
"That's a good skill. You probably got your nickname Hawk eye from it. Well to tell you honestly, they are magic items, yes, and I created them."
I plan to create items later on anyway so people would eventually know about it. I don't think that I have a reason to hide it when it the first place, I need people to know about it so they would come flocking to me with cash on their hands asking me to make them a magic item.
"That's amazing. Can you create one for me? Please?" Christine ask me while looking at me with her puppy eyes.
"Sure but you have to pay for it. It's not going to be free and it's not cheap either because the materials, power, rarity, skills, and its prestige, makes up the total price. I suggest that you should gather your money first and I'll make you a weapon base on the amount that you can give."
"Oh, that sounds expensive. I don't have that kind of money yet."
"That's unfortunate but don't worry, I'll make something for you when you already gathered enough funds. I'm just always here anyway."
"Thank you, I'll keep that in mind." She said and I just nodded.
We could then hear a knock on the door and it opened, revealing the bulky guy wearing a vest with blazer made of a hide from a wolf type monster. His main weapon is a knuckle, that I couldn't tell where it is made from.
The other revealed to be a handsome guy wearing a ordinary vest. He holds a sword in his hand which is clearly made from a bone of a monster. I guess he is not gonna wear armor. It's not like I mind though, if he thinks he is fast enough to avoid attacks, then it's much better.
"You arrive now. Please come here I have fo do something for you." I said and the two of them immediately came closer to me.
While I am doing the rune printing, Christine explained to them what I was trying to do to their weapon. She also mentioned that I am capable of making powerful items, even going as far as showing them the power of my items.
They were very amaze by it but they couldn't afford it yet so they are trying to negotiate with me.
"Can you just create an item for me? I will pay it a monthly basis until fully paid." Ferdinand, nicknamed The Titan, said.
"Sorry but I could only accept cash right now. I needed it to buy materials and mana stones from the dungeon."
"Wait, if we get the materials on our own, will we receive discount?" Makoy the Light Speed Hero ask.
"Yes, half of the price. But please do remember that high quality weapons came from high quality materials. It's very dangerous for you to get those without a strong team."
"I see, we are still in the recruitment stage for our own Hunter Guild, I don't think any of us has a good team yet to conquer dungeons. We have a battle tomorrow, can you lend us some of your items to help us?" Ferdinand ask. He is very witty.
"Unfortunately I made my items inbound to me. Meaning it will not activate it's functions if I handed them over to others. Also I don't have other spare items for you guys. Creating weapons takes time." I explained.
"That's unfortunate, I guess we have to stick to what we have. I really thought that my item is already the best but it's nothing compared to yours." Makoy said.
"Don't be dishearten. You will have your own as well in the future when you can afford it already. I will wait for you here don't worry."
I look at Makoy's sword and suddenly an idea hits me.
"Wait wait I think I can compromise. I probably would be able to create an magic item for you guys." I said.
All three of them look at me with interest.
"I will make you a set of epic grade armor and 1 epic rank weapon but you have to give up all your shares for all the loots that we could get inside the Marinduque dungeon. Aside from that you need to help me at least once if I ask for you in the future. Is that alright?"
The three of them look at each other and they look like they are talking with their eyes.
I stood up and walk to my office chair.
"You can take your time deciding it on your own." I said and suddenly the door burst open.
"Sorry If I'm late."
David arrive wearing a silver armor, he looks like a knight out of fantasy novel. He's very handsome. The Silver and Blue gets well together along with his crystal sword. He is brimming with power and everyone in the room could feel it.
I think I know what kind of play will we be having tonight.
"Silver Knight you are late!"
