I said to David while in my room, preparing for later.
"It's your fault for making delicious meal." David replied while scrolling to his phone.
"I should have put poison in it. By the way, what time are you coming to HQ?"
"Probably around 11, I still need to give instructions to my secretary.I was wondering, should I choose a rank for qualifications for my guilds members or not?"
He just ignored my first words great. I am actually a little mad at him after eating all the dishes I made leaving me with only a single chicken drumstick. I just left him alone in the table for a couple minutes because I am picking items from someone and when I return, there's almost nothing for me to eat.
I'm still kinda hungry right now, I guess I'll just ask someone to buy me something to eat later.
"You didn't read the instructions did you? Inorder for you to enter strong dungeons, which you should be doing by the way. You need to be a capable team with strong members with you. Each guild will be evaluated on which dungeon difficulty could they can handle of. I suggest that the lowest rank you should have is intermediate B-rank, and the class for that is either support or marksman. Beginner B rank and below will only be a liability to you when you enter high ranking dungeon." I explained to him.
"Beginner? Intermediate? Is that even a thing?" He ask curiously.
"I created that personally, and I plan to present the idea to the chairman later. You see, the power ranking starting from C- rank and above has huge margin which affects the accuracy of identifying suitable opponent, not all C-rank could fight another C- rank equally. That's why we need to divide each ranking to 3 parts, beginner, intermediate, and peak one. For example instead of C- rank alone, we can have Beginner C-rank, Intermediate C-rank, and Peak C-rank."
"Wouldn't that make everything confusing?"
"What's so confusing about it? The concept is actually pretty simple. Besides, by doing that, we can prevent A-classes from attacking Peak A-rank dungeon gates like the one in Marinduque. Preventing their deaths."
"What are you saying? Isn't the dungeon in Marinduque a S-class rank since boss there is S-class as well?"
"You are not as sensitive as I am when it comes to energy readings that's why you got the wrong idea. You see base on my observation and analysis from the dungeons so far, A rank dungeon will always have a S-rank boss. Every dungeon will have a boss that is 1 rank above from what the reading suggest. And the power that each S-rank boss is differ from one another. For example, the strongest that I fought so far is the Croc Boss, it's power is definitely S-rank, but I know that the Lich in Marinduque is much stronger than it but it is still classified as S-rank. Wouldn't that feel very wrong? If my proposition got accepted, the Croc Boss will definitely rank as Intermediate S-rank while the Lich is...."
David then intervene and continue.
"Peak S-rank... I get it now, by narrowing the ranking even further, we can create a much better Hunter ranking composition for every opponent. A Beginner S-rank monster would probably be defeated by several Peak-A rank. But Intermediate S-rank, requires the presence of a Beginner S-rank and several of at least beginner A-rank as well to be dealt with. In the case of Marinduque, we can deal with it without you if only we have a group of peak A-ranks with us as well."
David concluded.
"That is true, I see no reason for you to be defeated if you have that kind of power with you. But since you have me, we can dealt with the Lich with only us five."
"Yeah, I probably would be place at the Beginner SS rank if your proposition got approved."
"Aha, those three will probably be place at intermediate S rank, since they barely get to 800 mana points"
"With that kind of power, there is no way for them to win against the Lich on 1 vs 1 fight who is a Peak S rank. I understand now, please send me home now, I still need to change my clothes and go to my guild."
David stood up and kiss me in the lips.
"Yeah sure, take care my Guild Master ."
He give me an awkward look. Basically uncomfortable being called as a Guild Master.
I manipulated my mana and send him to his room.
I immediately change my clothes as well and proceeded to the HQ of Hunters Association.
When I arrived, Clark who was busy typing in his laptop on his own desk next to me was surprise in my suddenly arrival. He looks funny that I couldn't help my self but laugh.
"Hahaha, why are you so surprise? Are you watching porn? I'm telling you, it's not a good thing to do when at work." I said while arranging the papers that I brought with me.
"You came out of nowhere that's why I'm surprised. By the way there are some countries that requested you immediate audience despite giving them their schedule, what should I say to them?"
He ask while typing again in his loptop. It seems like he's liking his job.
"Finish emailing everyone first before you reply. Tell them that It's impossible for me to divide my body."
"You want me to be sarcastic to them? They will surely not be happy if I talk to them like that. Some of them are already here in the Philippines and was looking for you here in the Hunter Association. The Chairman just order everyone to say that you are currently busy and has no time to meet them." He explained.
"Ok, just reply them professionally. I gotta go to the Chairman's office, is he there already?" I asks.
"Yes, he's there already along with his son Charlie. By the way, Charlie is under our care, what should we do about him?"
"I did not receive any issues regarding hunters so there's no need for him to be deployed for the time being. Just make him stand by and send him if a strong awakened decided to rampage nearby."
I walk to where the door at when suddenly Clark spoke from his desk.
"By the way you look cute today." He said.
"Hahaha stop doing that, you know that I am currently dating David righ? Anyways, I'm always cute and today is not an exemption. By the way you look cool and energetic today. Did you take drugs or did you sleep with someone last night?"
His face return to his normal stern look and give me a middle finger.
"I'm trying to change the way I talk and I'm practicing how to smile often as well."
"Why are you doing that? You are already good the way you are before. Just be you ok? It's not good forcing yourself to become someone else. I really gotta go now so bye bye." I said and get out of my office and proceed to the Chairman's office.
While walking I was trying not to think of Clark. I feel bad for him for some reason. Sorry, but I don't want reverse harem in my story. It is against all my beliefs and morals in life.
I knock at the Chairman's office when suddenly Charlie opened it. He was surprised at first upon seeing me, but he immediately gave way to me.
"Chairman, this is the Hunter ranking revision proposal that I have in mind. Please read it later and consider." I said while putting my documents in his desk.
"Oh, I see. Put it here I'll review it later. By the way, the monster cores and mana stones already arrived earlier. They are currently at our warehouse. Take a look at it if they are enough or not."
I just nodded at the Chairman when suddenly Charlie ask me a question.
"Where is my brother? He didn't return home last night. Do you know where he is?"
The Chairman look at me with a look of anticipation while the secretary next to him who's doing paper works as well didn't bother to look at us.
"He slept in my place last night after getting bombarded with my magic last night. He returned home earlier, his probably at his guild right now, giving instructions to his secretary." I smiled at him innocently.
"You slept with him?" Charlie asks in disbelief while holding my shoulders.
"Why are you making it sound like we have sex? Obviously we didn't do that. I was busy doing my paperwork all night." I remove his hands from my shoulder and give him a death stare.
Well it's true that we didn't have sex last night anyway so I'm not lying.
"Charlie stop accusing him. Why are you always causing trouble? Sorry about Charlie, Archie." Chairman apologizes.
"I get used to it already Mr. Soreso." I replied to him.
I then look again at Charlie.
"By the way, your magic items are already finish." I said while placing everything on the floor.
I bend myself to get the fiery sword and tried to swing it my self.
"This looks cool. The burning effect is also amazing. This sword could stop regeneration effects to the severed area." I said while giving the sword to Charlie.
"Take care of that, I made it all with great effort." I said.
He look at his weapons and equipment with a blank facial expressions. I feel like his mind is not in the room right now.
"They all look amazing. I also saw the David's magic items yesterday and I must say that my son really looks like a magical knight at what his wearing. Thank you for making these magic items for my sons."
"You're welcome Chairman."
"By the way are those other S-class has magic items of their own? They were about to enter a fight later, will it be ok if they have none?" The Chairman asks worriedly.
"Actually Chairman, I manage to borrow two of them from the people that I've first given magic items. After this I will still need to contact the others and ask them to lend me theirs to be used by those S- rankers later."
"Don't bother, just lend Charlie's item to them for the time being. I don't think that he'll be needing this today anyway. It that ok Charlie right?"
Charlie was surprised by the sudden call to him and he nodded immediately without even hearing what the Chairman is talking about.
"Sure sure no problem." He said.
"Thank you, this will be a great help to them." I said and I immediately transfer his magic items to my pocket world.
Charlie has a questionable look in his eyes to what I am doing, but I have no plans on entertaining someone who's mind is not present at the moment.
