"How are you doing this?" One of the healed soldier ask as they arming themselves again and get out of the truck.
"I'll tell you later but please help me deal with them first so we could escape."
I said while I turn my back on them since my focus was on the barrier.
Suddenly someone poke me and when I look around I saw a fully mask soldier with stern eyes. A very familiar individual.
"Thanks"
I smiled.
"Welcome, I did not expect you to be there inside as well. Were are the others? Aren't you numbering more than 300?"
Silence follow after that.
"Sorry, it seems like human weapons are not capable of killing it. You did your job, as a citizen, I thank you for your bravery." I said but still none replied.
"I could feel mana coming from you, you are awakened just like me right? Help me deal with them." I asked a one of the soldier who I cannot distinguish to the others because of their covers.
"Yes I am but I can't use my skills."
He said and everyone seems to be wondering what we are talking about.
"What is the condition for it?" I inquire.
"I needed bow even without an arrow to activate my skill. It seems like my skills are all related to archery." He said and I noded.
I could also feel like even if he had one, his attacks might not enough to instantly kill these snakes. But he could still kill it if someone protected him.
"I guess we have no choice. I will cast a spell that could kill it but the barrier might go down while I cast it so if that ever happened please carry me and run away until I finish my spell." I said and everyone agreed immediately.
"Let me carry you so we could run immediately." The stern looking guy offer his back to me and so I did not hesitate to hop in.
I'm shameless after all.
To be honest I really want to know his name, because last night I didn't manage to get it. He was immediately called by his teammates after I introduced my self so there's no helping it.
And right now is not the time either.
I search for magic in Magic Archive and the choices are quite a lot so it takes me time to choose.
After I choose 1 i immediately begun to read it.
--Winter winter winter, a mighty and superior season...--
Suddenly I lose my focus to the barrier so it vanished and everyone run immediately.
--A chilling breeze that permeate the surroundings, bear witness to your cruelty, PERMAFROST--
I look back and wave my hand towards the snakes. Suddenly a huge spike of ice has been released from my palm, freezing the snakes inside.
I was really shocked at the size of the ice. It towers the place and it really looks terrifying even to me a caster.
Everyone looked in awe and shocked as well. They then begun to look at me as if judging me.
"What? I didn't know that I could do that. It was my first time doing it." I said.
The ice really is terrifying. The size is so huge that it could even rival the size of a building. And what's even more amazing is that I could feel like my mana hasn't been drained by much after all the magic I performed.
I am being released from being carried and I begun to search for other monsters or people on the surroundings.
"It seems like these three are not the only one that exited the dungeon gate. I could feel 14 snakes all over the place and people in several area as well." I said.
"Will you be able to deal with them?" Someone asked.
"I probably can but let me analyze and look at my ability first if I could find a convenient spell that could deal with them all efficiently."
I wave my hand and the ice in front of crack and started breaking apart along with the snakes inside. I also controlled the ice so they would fall further from us.
Then my magic ice has been erased leaving the remains of the snakes. The soldiers are just looking at them and didn't utter a single word.
I look at my Magic Archive, majority of the spell it suggest are spells that deals destruction to a wide area, which is a no go, I don't want to destroy properties. So I limit the options to spells that chases enemy targets and the list of spells that I want is now in front of me.
I pick one at random and look for its description. Seems ok so I started reading and manipulate my mana.
--Come forth, oh aurora of light, pierce through my enemies and erase their existence, DIVINE JUDGEMENT--
I raised my right hand and spears made of light manifest. I then lock each one of them to the snakes that I detected and after I'm done I waved my hand and the spears move away from me.
"Those spears will kill the snakes that escape the dungeon. Let's go to Esperanza now and regroup. We need to form a group of awakened people like me there then enter the portal and close it."
I suggested.
"I thought those spears will kill the snakes?" The stern guy ask.
"Yes, but only those snakes who are outside. As far as I remember, people with powers needed to go inside then exit again in order to close it. I don't know if they need to do something inside because the news hasn't mentioned any."
"Why don't you just go there and close it yourself. You have powers right? And it's quite strong. You are probably capable of decimating hordes of that snakes if you wanted to. We will wait for you outside." Someone suggested which made me jump in shocked.
"Are you making me enter an unknown place with unknown danger inside while being alone? Aren't you cruel? My magic might be strong but I still needed people to protect me while I cast. I could not perform those things if I am being exposed to danger." I rebuke.
"I think he is right, I have powers as well but I could only activate them if I have a bow so I needed to look for one first. I will also join you in closing the gate." The awakened soldier said as well and I nodded at him.
"Seems like we already made a decision. Let's return now." I said and our eyes landed on the truck.
They then all look at me with expectations.
"Could you .." I didn't let him finished.
"I will try if I can."
I look at the archive and it didn't fail me.
--Hands turn to the left, let the clock of destiny decide thy fate, TIME JOURNEY--
A magic circle appear above the truck which looks like a hologram of clock. Its hands rotate and the truck stand up on its own and repair the damages.
Seeing how this spell turn back time to repair damages makes this an extremely valuable spell for me.
The repair has been done and the condition of the truck has been returned to what it's condition last night.
"It's done." I said.
"You're amazing"
"Your power is breathtaking"
"You will probably become famous later so please give me your autograph later."
The soldiers said as they enter the truck one by one.
I waited for all of them inside.
"Aren't you going?" The loner with stern face ask me.
"You see, since I can always perform magic, why don't I try teleportation? I wonder if I have that one on me."
I said and I immediately look for it and there really is a teleportation spell.
I look to the description and it seems like I need to put a waypoint to the place that I want to return into in order to teleport there, so it means I couldn't use it since it's my first time using magic.
However there is a spatial magic that could do what I wanted as well, however it was limited to the range of my mana detection so I don't know if it could reach Ezperanza.
I closed my eyes and marked this place as a waypoint using my mana so I could return here whenever I want.
I then tried to focus my self and look for Esperanza in my detection, fortunately it was within my range. I also learned that my rage reaches beyond Esperanza upon trying to extend my detection reach.
The spell doesn't require incantation however it requires manipulation of mana to your destination so it would also take some time. I tried to manipulate the energy to that place and gather them until they reach the point in which they could even tear apart the space.
The space infront of me tear apart revealing the other side.
"Ezperanza is here, please enter the other side now. It's really painful to the brain to maintain."
I could hear the truck started and they immediately pass through the space rift. Both me and the loner walk our way to the other side and I immediately close it after that.
"I couldn't believe that we are already at the entrance of Esperanza." The loner said.
"Even I couldn't believe it either."
We both enter the truck since there are some distance between our location and the evacuation center.
Upon riding we are met with several dozen of soldiers, it seems like this place has been protected as well.
However there are no aircraft here, they probably send it all to the gate last night and later destroyed by those snakes when the gate opens.
