I am now at the gymnasium and it's already half way full even though 4 trucks has already left here carrying people.
Esperanza is 1 hour away from here so they will probably return here in 2 hours. The road there is not the highway and there are no traffic lights so it's unlikely that they will encounter a heavy traffic.
I sat on the bleacher and I saw a bunch of people talking among themselves and some are crying. There are even people kneeling ang praying, hoping that the dungeon gate here won't open.
It seems like news has spread already.
I opened my phone and wear my earpods. I scroll down my social media account and the first video that appear is an international news clip so I immediately play it.
"The world are now in total chaos because of dungeon gates opening. Releasing terrifying monsters out from fantasy and myth. Military all over the world are deployed, trying their hardest to deal with the problem. World leaders are having meeting to address this global issue right now, lead by the three superpower nations, namely USA, CHINA, and RUSSIA."
I pause the video for a second because my attention has been caught by people who are quarrelling over something. It seems like the girl is forcing someone to pray inorder to be saved but the other doesn't want to and want to leave the place immediately.
What they do is actually none of my concern so I will leave them be.
I click and continued the clip.
"We received reports that the USA is actually considering nuking the Fenrir monster that appears in Maryland after using and knowing the ineffectiveness of the strongest non nuclear bomb the Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb (MOAB) to it."
This is quite interesting, are they really willing to destroy their land just to kill the Fenrir? Just what kind of calamity is it to be able to withstand super destructive bombs? If I was there as see it in action, I would probably think of it as god.
"It seems like God is still there for us. It seems like some people are experiencing some kind of weird phenomena. According to the reports we receive just now, it seems like there are some people who received power out of nowhere. These kind of people are now fighting the monsters that exits the gates. There are some places in which these people enters the gate and they somehow manage to close and vanish it upon their exit. We are calling them awakened individuals and they can be seen all over the world where dungeon gate opens. We are yet to interview and received information from these individuals so stay tuned."
The clip ended there.
It seems like the person with telekinesis ability is an awakened person. I really thought that he is someone who was born with that kind of power from the beginning, but it seems like I'm mistaken.
I look around and saw that the outside is morning already. I already feel sleepy a little since I didn't take any rest the entire night.
I also look around and it seems like the people are more less than what I remembered.
They probably take ride from a private vehicle or the LGU added another trucks to take the people out.
I walk outside to look for a private vehicle who are willing to take me to Esperanza for money. When I saw the guy who was fighting with the lady beside him who is kneeling and praying, I approach them and talk to the guy.
"Excuse me." I asked and the guy look at me.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Do you know when the dungeon gate manifested here?"
I am a not sure if this dungeon gate is one of the first batch or not since I'm not here during that time so I feel the need to ask.
"It appears on August 1, it is one of the first dungeon to appear here in the Philippines."
Upon hearing this my heart beats fast. I really thought that it is one that appeared later on.
Later on we could then hear trucks so I look outside and saw trucks lining up and people that are climbing to ride.
"I think it's better if we go now, with our number, I doubt if we could fill those trucks." I said and the guy agreed with my assumption.
As he talk to the kneeling lady I proceeded to help the elderly to climb on the truck.
Suddenly I got chills on my skin and gun fires could be hear from where we are.
Everyone panicked and want to climb on the trucks. We could even hear explosions which would make everyone who hear it panicked.
I really want to climb on the truck as well but people are fighting just to climb up that's why it's best to wait so I could avoid injury.
Minutes later and the shots could still be heard. I climb up and the truck was closed by the people who are near at the exit.
People then begun to shout to move and the truck finally drove away. While on the road I saw a truck that carriers soldiers, it seems like they are retreating.
"There's a child over there" Someone said and we all look to the area and saw a child crying beside the road while hugging a bag.
It seems like the parents left it behind.
"Why did they left her here? What kind of parent would do that to their child? That's horrible!"
People then begun to bad mouth the parents of the child.
The truck slows down and we feel a hump so I take the chance to jump.
"What are you doing?" Someone said.
"Stopp.." People begun to shout but the driver still continued to drive but slowly.
I ran over to the kid and carry it. I then ran as fast as I could to the truck. Luckily I manage to catch it, I immediately hand over the kid and the people above the truck immediately grab it.
They then reach out their hands to grab me but suddenly I pause. My head hurts, information has been downloaded in my brain. My body feels hot to the point which my skin feels like burning. My lungs lose air and I could feel heat from it. I drop my self on the ground seeking for air when suddenly everything returns to normal.
I have been awakened.
I know that I have been awakened. There are no information on my brain on what causes it or who made it possible but I know that I have been awakened.
I received 3 skills according to the information in my brain. Namely Spell Casting, Magic Archive, and World of Creation. I also know how they work for some reason.
I stood up and I could feel that my body changes, I could now feel energy around me along with the mana inside my body and I feel like my body has been hardened and my thought process has been faster by multiple times than before.
I look around and saw the truck farther away from me. It seems like they will manage to get away.
I feel presence all around me and the range is quite far, I think I could feel energy signature of everyone from a couple of kilometers. No I don't think it's kilometers, I think my range is several miles.
I could feel the presence of mana chasing a truck carrying the soldiers so I look to where it is and I notice that they are nearing me.
Suddenly the truck turned sideway and stopped right in front of me.
A giant snake whose body is bigger than a sewer pipe and quite long stood up.
There are three of them and it seems like normal bullets won't work on them.
I immediately search for a spell that I could use, my mind hasten it thoughts and I enter a library full of books. I was looking for barrier magic and suddenly several books flew to me and I grab 1 at random.
'Intermediate Elemental Magic'
I think of a barrier and suddenly the book open its page and show something to me.
--Oh Wind listen to my will and hear me out, let me borrow your strength to protect my kin.--
I circulate my mana and release the magic.
--Wind Barrier--
A barrier made of wind suddenly manifest. Protecting everyone inside it.
The snakes barge their heads on the barrier and they even tried to release a poisonous gas but none manage to enter the barrier.
I continue to release my mana to feed my spell as I ran to where the soldiers are.
I reach the flipped truck entrance and saw 2 soldiers pointing their gun to the snakes and when they see me they where shocked.
I look inside and it seems like the people there couldn't move because of injuries.
"I will help you out please bear your pain for a moment." I said and I look for healing spell in my Magic Archive.

A circular magic circle appear on the ground showing everyone lights that comes from the circle, healing everyone within it.
"Wow"
" You can perform magic?"
The 2 soldiers ask but I ignored them.
Suddenly the barrier flicker which made me panicked, luckily I notice it immediately and the snakes still haven't been able to destroy it despite that. I spare some of my focus to the barrier to maintain it.
It seems like performing more than 1 spell requires so much focus.
