Chapter 4 - submitting

"Where am I?" These were Rael's first thoughts upon regaining his consciousness. The last thing he remembered was losing consciousness due to blood loss, and before he blacked out, he saw two crimson eyes staring at him.

Rael began to move his body, trying to explore his surroundings. The first thing he noticed was the bottles and herbs placed on a nearby table. Then he looked at his body and found it covered in bandages, with potion containing different colored liquids, mostly red.

He then started observing the structure of the room. He noticed it lacked windows, but there was a door made of an old type of red-etched wood. The room was made of well-polished gray stone cubes that glowed with a faint light.

After a moment of surveying the room, Rael heard footsteps approaching from outside the door. Shortly after, a young woman in her early twenties entered, dressed in attire resembling that of a doctor, with pale skin and black hair. She looked at Rael and said, "It seems you've woken up. Your injuries were severe, and you lost a lot of blood. Without the continuous support of the magic you acquired on your way here, you would have died long ago. But now, your body has almost fully healed."

Rael responded with a puzzled expression, "Thank you for healing me, but can you tell me what happened and where I am?"

"I cannot tell you much; it's the princess's order. But I already informed the guard, and he will come soon to escort you to her Majesty, and she will explain everything to you. Now, I'll conduct some tests to check your physical condition, so please cooperate with me," she replied.

The nurse performed some tests and noted down some details on paper.

After a few minutes of examination and when the nurse was about to finish, Rael heard heavy footsteps again, and the guard entered, wearing white iron armor and carrying a spear. He approached slowly and stood in front of him, then spoke formally, " human, I am here to accompany you to her Majesty's residence, as commanded."

Rael glanced at the guard who left after speaking these words and stood in the hallway outside the room. He looked at the nurse, thanked her for her care, and she responded with a light gesture. before standing and heading towards the guard, who began moving as soon as Rael got close to him ,wich made Real bury the questions he was going to ask and followed him in silence.

Together, they walked through the dark corridors lit by crimson and white gems until they finally reached a door, three meters tall and one and a half meters wide, adorned with red inscriptions and a faint halo.

Two guards stood formally in front of the door, holding crossed spears, but when they approached, they stepped aside to allow them to pass without saying a word.

When they entered the room, Rael's eyes widened at the sight before him. The room was illuminated by crimson and white gems and adorned with luxurious furniture, including a white wooden table holding books, vials, and herbs. The shelves on the opposite side were filled with books. The room emitted a beautiful fragrance that reminded him of his mother's perfume.

At the far end of the room stood a shadowy figure. Slowly, she appeared, and Rael noticed she was a young woman in her mid-twenties, with pale white skin, long black hair reaching down her back, and red lines. She wore a beautiful red dress adorned with jewels.

She nodded to the guard and calmly said, "You may leave."

The guard rose and headed to the exit, leaving Rael and the young woman alone in silence.

After a moment, the woman extended her hand, and two chairs materialized from the air. She sat on one of them and gestured for Rael to sit as well. Then, in a cold and beautiful voice, she said, "You might be confused about your presence here, so I'll explain the situation briefly. Alex is a member of the ruling family in one of the three human kingdoms. He got into a fight with my royal uncle a few months ago in an ancient ruin. He nearly killed him, but my uncle survived. However, the problem is that he lost the blood of a former vampire king he found in those ruins. After searching Alex's soul, it turned out he considered it my uncle blood , so he implanted it into your body. As a result, you've become almost half-vampire due to the royal blood implanted in you, and we couldn't separate it from you because it has reached an advanced stage. Removing it could contaminate the blood . Now, you have two options: either accept submission to me, and I'll support and assist you in your growth. With the help of the royal blood and your already excellent talent , you'll become a genius at the peak, or refuse to submit and die, and I'll extract the blood from your body, even if it means contamination. So, what's your choice?"

Rael was stunned by the information he heard and thought to himself, "Damn! Why does everyone want to kill me? and what is this choices ? you are just telling me to submit or die ? Who in their right mind would refuse?" But he quickly made up his mind. He knelt on one knee and firmly said, "I accept submission to you, my lady."
