Feng Yu zhu Said To me, "I'll tell you an old story, it happened centuries ago. There was "Lady Of Shadows" who came down to earth from havean. She was extremely powerful and everyone feared her. She wandered through the seven cities and challenged city after city, but at first they thought she was just a woman, and because she was a woman, what could a woman do? But that woman defeated the strongest of the powerful in the powerful cities, so as an admission of defeat, each city offered their strongest dragon to be her servant. The Shadow Lady gathered them together and sealed them with a magic seal. She said to them, "From now on, your souls belong to me. After I die, you will die, and after you die, you will live in a different place. Secondly, in this place, fate will have to bring us together again and again, hundreds and thousands of times, for we are fate that cannot be separated. O people, if you object, come with your swords and stab my heart. But know that this will not be the end, I will be born again and hunt your soul forever"
The seven remained silent and did not object. They loved to travel the world with her, and they lived happily, until the Lady of Shadow fell in love with the Shadow Dragon.
In doing so, she violated her covenant in heaven, "Save the world and keep it pure." She said to herself, "isn't love pure in itself?"
Her friends from heaven replied, "Then try for yourself the meaning of love and tell us how pure it is."
A while passed and she completely forgot about the matter, until the Lord of death came and said to her: "Our marriage is resolved, come with me and leave it there. Let's live happily"
She said angrily: "Isn't love an impure act? What do I do if I save the world and marry someone who destroys it?"
"How can death be destruction? It is the beginning and the end, it is destiny and life. Do you object to the will of the God??"
She firmly replied, "No, but I will resist my destiny, and you are definitely not my destiny. I will choose my love myself."
He answered, "Then don't regret it." Then Said to himself "Despite the deep pain you've inflicted upon me, I still refuse to blame you for your stubbornness, callousness, and unremitting self-interest. I don't blame you, nor do I wish to hurt you. Instead, I find comfort in the thought that if you're happy, then I will be too."
She made her choice, choosing the love for the dragon over the god of death. She knew that it was a choice between purity and love, and despite the risk of angering the god of death, she chose love.
But despite her feelings, her father decides to go ahead with the marriage
After learning of her father's plan, Lady Of Shadows sneaks out of her father's castle and makes her way to her lover secret cave. At first, he is suspicious of Lady Of Shadows, but after learning of her reasons for visiting him and the fact that she has risked her position in the heavens to be with him, he decides to trust her. As the two of them grow closer to each other, they soon realize that their love is forbidden and that they will never be able to be together. However, this only makes their love for each other stronger.
She made her choice, choosing the love for the dragon over the god of death. She knew that it was a choice between purity and love, and despite the risk of angering the god of death, she chose love.
As the gods look on, she and the dragon she chose flee together, knowing that they risk the wrath of the gods by breaking their covenant. They know that their love will be challenged and tested, but they are determined to stay together and love each other despite the consequences. Their love will be a story that is passed down through the generations, inspiring others to follow their hearts.
The gods look on in anger as the Lady of Shadows and her dragon lover flee, knowing that they have broken their covenant and committed a great taboo. The gods consider enacting their wrath upon the pair, but hesitate, knowing the power that love holds and the potential it has to change the world. As the two lovers escape and start their lives together, they know that they face a difficult future, as the gods will certainly not let them get away with such a transgression so easily. They must stay strong and be prepared to fight the gods and their followers in order to preserve their love.
As the gods discuss how to handle the situation, one of them, the god of time, steps forward and proposes a solution. The god of time suggests that instead of punishing the pair, they be allowed to live out their lives in peace. He argues that by letting them live and love freely, their story could inspire others to follow their hearts and break down the barriers of convention and tradition. The other gods consider this proposal, and after some discussion, they decide to allow the Lady of Shadows and her dragon lover to live out their lives together, in the hope that their love could bring a positive change to the world.
When they finally think that their love can blossom, reality shocks them, with the fact that her father will not give up easily, nor can he accept this shame.
As the months pass, Lady Of Shadows and her lover spend more and more time together, growing closer and closer each day. Despite their love for each other, they know that their union is forbidden and can never be. However, they refuse to give up their love and continue to meet in secret. Lady Of Shadows father soon grows suspicious of his daughter's activities and begins to search for her. Despite her father's suspicions, Lady Of Shadows is determined to protect her lover and their love for each other.
One night, while Lady Of Shadows and her lover are together in their secret cave, they are spotted by one of Lady Of Shadows father's guards. The guard immediately runs back to his master and tells him what he has seen. Angered that his daughter has disobeyed him, Shushin's father sends another of his guards to bring Shushin back immediately. This guard enters the secret cave and demands that Lady Of Shadows come with him. Lady Of Shadows refuses and runs off with her lover to hide under a tree. Her father's guards then search for her and him, eventually finding them.
Lady Of Shadows, with a smile on her face, says to hime, "We will sure meet again, but for now, I'm going to set you all free. Next time we meet, I will make sure that we can be together forever. You and me. I love you." With these words, she stabs herself in the heart, sacrificing her own life to set her lover and the other seven dragons free. Her final thoughts are of him being safe and free to live his own life.
Her lover, heartbroken, turns and runs away from Lady Of Shadows father's guards. He is haunted by Lady Of Shadows final words, wondering what she meant about meeting him again. His grief over Lady Of Shadows death is mixed with gratitude that she has set him free. While he will always love Lady Of Shadows, he knows that their love was forbidden and that they were never meant to be together in this world. He vows to always remember her and to find a way to be with her again, even if it means waiting for her in whatever comes after death. He said, "I pray that I will meet you again, that I will be strong so that you will not have to stab your heart for me and for the sake of others. I pray that when we pass by each other again, our shadows will merge together, drawing us to each other from miles away."
The Shadow Lady found herself on the ground, gazing after her lover as he departed into the night sky. As he became further and further away, she felt a deep sadness wash over her and a sense of regret for having violated her covenant in Heaven. Looking to her side, she saw the god of death embracing her and crying over her, and her heart was broken to have hurt his emotions. Feeling unsure of what to do, she questioned the beliefs and loyalties that she had long defended. She felt utterly lost and alone, unsure of how to move forward.
As the two of them embraced, the Lady of Shadows realized that she couldn't bear the thought of never seeing her love again. She didn't want to leave her lover behind, but she still felt a pang of guilt for breaking her covenant with heaven. With the god of death by her side, she was torn between following her heart and following her faith. She wondered if there was a way for her to have both. She struggled to find the right answer, but as she did, she felt a sense of comfort and solace in the arms of the god of death.
the Lady of Shadows embraced the idea that in her next life, she would put her love of other people before her own romantic love. She came to the conclusion that love was not meant for a woman to have only one relationship with a man, but rather that love was meant to be shared with all. She hoped that in her next life, she would be able to touch the hearts of others with her own feelings and hands, and she wanted to meet her friends again and protect the world and discover the meaning of love once more.
The God of death wiped away his tears as he held the Lady of Shadows in his arms. As his soul broke at the thought of never seeing her again, he whispered to himself, "Next time we meet, I will guide you towards the truth." He hoped that in the next life, he would once again find her and lead her to her destiny, helping her achieve the balance and harmony that she so deeply desired. He knew that he would never forget her or their time together, and he hoped that they would find each other again in their next lives.
With this last thought, the Shadow Lady closed her eyes and drifted off. As she did, she felt a sense of peace come over her, knowing that she had made a decision. As she slept, the god of death cradled her in his arms, hoping that she would find happiness in her next life. He knew that the Shadow Lady had made a difficult decision, but he knew that she would find the right path for herself in time. And perhaps, just perhaps, they would meet again and continue the great work he and she had once begun."
This is how he concluded his story. I was sitting on the floor next to his bed, resting my hand on his bed. I looked at him curiously while I started thinking millions of thoughts, "Is this a true story? When did it happen? I've never heard of it before, but I feel like I know it."
He laughed out of the corner of his mouth, "Oh, it lies deep in your soul."
"Why might the story be stuck in my soul?" I asked
"Because it's your story"
"A person's shadow is his life. For Tian Yang, his shadow became my shadow and my shadow became his shadow. If I die, he dies, and if he dies, I die. Our destinies and lives are connected more deeply than we imagined. It was fate that linked us together, and we became destined."
I said, then I looked at him, and said again, "Do you feel that the story is somewhat similar? Why? When I met him, I passed by him, but suddenly my shadow pulled me back to where he was sitting, my body pressed against his body, and it was difficult to move, and suddenly under the sun, my shadow disappeared and his shadow disappeared, and then We exchanged shadows. I learned what I told you from my uncle. He told us that it was an unexplained matter."
He looked at him from the corner of his eyes, "It seems that you have already met him... Indeed, fate does not joke, but you said something wrong."
"What?"
"You will not die," he said, "if you die, he will die."
"Yu Zhu, is there a way to break this curse?" I questioned.
"No, my dear, it's not a curse, but fate. It chose you two to be closer than the rest," Yu Zhu replied.
I asked, "What do you mean when you say fate? And does this really mean that our lives should be in danger because of each other?"
Yu Zhu answered, "Well, fate chose you two to be close, and your lives are bound to each other. If one of you dies, the other shall as well. But If he dies, you will live, but the pain you will feel in your heart toward his death and the guilt over it will feel like death."
"So how do I stop feeling guilty? Why would he die? Isn't that a curse on the 7 dragons and not just him?" I further questioned.
Yu Zhu responded, "This pain, though, might prove fatal to you. It's your heart that will suffer the heaviest pain. You cannot control fate or your hearts, well I think the answer is also your heart. If you intend to die for him, then there is a solution to undo your fate, which is when the last breath of your life comes, you must stab your heart."
"so it seems that my heart holds the key to breaking the curse. If I am willing to die for him, and plunge my heart into its final beat, then we can free ourselves from the fate that lingers over us. But still, is there no other way to break this curse? Must I sacrifice myself in order to protect him and the other 6 i don't even know? Is there no other path forward? Why?"
He said, "This is because your hearts are free, my dear. You can control people's minds, but you cannot control their hearts. Therefore, you cannot control his heart and possess it. Therefore, when you remove and uproot your heart, his shadow can be freed from your body, but part of your shadow will remain in his soul. This is fate. , it cannot be prevented
You are meant to be, no matter what happens and at all times. Your destiny, from the beginning, was to walk on a path made for you. The difference is whether you can destroy it or make it blossom with flowers."
"If I die, will those people die?"... I wondered sadly, and this is how I am, someone who can ruin the lives of many people at any time.
He returned to his meditative position, "Yes."
"The only solution is that if I face death, I should hurry up and stab my heart, right?"
He hummed in confirmation as he took a cup of tea. I asked him, looking straight ahead, "Is it possible that you are the god of death in that story?"
He suddenly spat out the tea on the ground next to me and looked at me, "You came to guide me then?" I smiled out of the corner of my mouth, "Do you still love me?"
He sat up straight, "You and I met centuries ago. We were friends and I loved you, but we were not destined. I am not destined for you, and therefore, since I lived long enough, I forgot the meaning of love and the meaning of my love for you. Love does not mean and did not mean, Even if I love someone, it's not You "
I looked into his eyes, "I'm sure I'm better than her."
He smiled from the corner of his mouth and whispered, "You are certainly more enjoyable, but as for your fate, it will not be any less bad."
"Oh right, how can I find dragons? I have to find them to protect them and befriend them."
"Go to each city and find your own way. There is no specific way. You will just feel them, and to be sure, put your hands on their hearts."
I sighed, "This is going to be a very long journey.. I had to look for myself but now I have to look for others..."
