Erupting from the sigils, came a strong heat. A burning glow of red, as red hot as newly crafted steel, with sparks that flew around the location. Smoke would rise out of the sigils, coming from the stone which interacted with them, slowly being disintegrated during its interaction. When the destruction of the area was finished, the sigils convulsed together into a single seal, seemingly summoning something. Summoning someone, even. A claw would extend out from it to indicate that summoning, being as white hot when it first appeared, before being cooled into a strong red and orange. A monster, crawling its way out as it stands upon the now split earth before the golem. Its skin being like molten lava, its eyes being a sharp black, with a white pupil that stared down at the construct. Atop of it was a figure in a cloak, with colors that matched the night sky, yet holds a physical appearance like the monster that crawled out of. Both figures burn strong, slowly destroying the cave itself with its mere appearance.
A Dragon. A Dragon Rider. The 2 components that seemingly made up the main sigil Zazel uses.
Asmodeus himself.
The draconic monstrosity slowly approached the construct, heavy steps that echoed across the area, as it would rise in temperature. The construct, with wide eyes, desperately dragged itself away from them, scrawling their bodies across the pavement, even using the whip-like chain to grapple onto a newly constructed stalactite to pull them away, desperately trying to find an exit, but such an exit would already be buried away. It was trapped, and the dragon was famished. A snap of his fingers came from Zazel as he issued a cold decree for the rider to follow, knowing that the golem doesn't wish to honor such peace between one another. If the creature wished to caused intentional problems, then he shall provide a simple solution for the humanoid. Harvard, meanwhile, was in absolute awe of what he is witnessing before him. A monster, just like his very friends who assisted him.
"Make sure he sleeps well, Asmodeus."
A strong nod came from him, as he would direct the dragon to power itself up, heat being swelled from its body, exponentially raising the temperature, with the golem pleading for its life. "WAIT!! PLEASE!! I BEG OF YOU!! LET ME LIVE!! LET ME LIVE, PLEASE!!! I DON'T WANT TO BE ERASED LIKE THIS!! PLEASE!!! I'M SORRY!! I'M SO SORRY!!! SPARE ME-" His words would be cut off by the roar of the dragon, its body being coated in a magma-like substance, before it quickly lunged towards the Golem. With such heat, it would be argued that it died a quick death, but as it is merely a construct, it only lasts long enough for the figure to take as much damage as possible, as repentance for threatening the demon. The dragon's fury was so much, it carved straight through the caverns, melting and obliterating the very earth it is traversing, creating a massive hole to make as an exit, and end of the tunnel one would say, before it flew off from the mines into the shining sky, the very sun setting at the horizon as it soared away.
Harvard was at a loss of words. That was something Zazel did? It was awesome! Magnificent! Absolutely powerful! A smile came to his face as the battle met its swift end, the child getting onto the ground as he expressed his joy. "THAT WAS SO COOL!! WHAT WAS THAT THING!? IT WAS SO HUGE!! IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS THE SIZE OF THE MINE ITSELF!! THAT WAS ASMODEUS!? HOW?? WHERE?? WHY??" Such questions buzzed in his head, as the demon would laugh at such ideas.
"Relax, relax. Sheesh, you're saying this stuff as if YOU haven't done the exact same thing. He's just one of my friends, much like how you have your friends to help you!" Zazel was nonchalant with his explanation as he made his way outside, with Harvard following suit. "And before you ask, no, I don't know what that dragon thing IS. Looks pretty cool though!"
"Hehe, I guess so, and hey! That's 2 missions down! We're gonna get so much cash outta all this! Got 2 more left to do before we wrap things up! You ready for the next one?" The child ask, being alongside with the demon as he would check back the papers of what they need to do next, of which he realized such papers were nothing more than ash. Unfortunate, but at least it meant they get to go back to the city to get their reward in taking down the whispering golem that was bothering the locals so much!
"Just as long as it's NOT another cave, thanks." Zazel would ask, seemingly having his fill already with such dark areas.
"Alright, Alright, No more cave missions today." Harvard would joke in response, looking upwards to the orange sky, breathing that fresh air, as they quickly made their way back to Oaking, preparing themselves for the next item upon their non-existent bucket list of things to do.
