"Enter."
A low voice came from the room as Shen slowly opened the door, which unlike the front gate was made up of some different material.
Just from a glace and anyone could tell that it was obviously heaps above in quality.
Thinking this, Shen entered the room and sat at the same position where he sat previously.
" Have you digested the information I gave you a earlier," to which Shen replied with a slight nod.
" Good, now that you're prepared I shall tell you what's wrong with your body."
" As you know from what I previously told you, you harmed your meridians and spiritual roots in Qi deviation. Right now your meridians are extremely fragile and your aptitude has fallen from high-grade lightening to middle-grade lightening and your middle-grade wood aptitude can be counted amount the lowest of middle grades."
" With sufficient restraint from cultivation, your meridians would automatically heal themselves from their fragile state to a usable one. Then you can slowly temper them and live your life as a cultivator, or you can just buy the Meridian Repairing Pill from the Outer Alchemy Pavilion."
" For them to heal naturally it would take at least 3 years, and until then you would be kicked out of the sect or would at least be demoted to the level of a lowly lotus servant of some inner sect disciple. "
" However a Meridian Repairing Pill is extremely expensive, it's different from a Meridian Enhancing Pill that outer sect disciples often use. "
" In short, your cultivation base hasn't been affected but your aptitude is gone and your meridians are screwed."
Shen sat there silently, he had already guessed something like this. In fact his stupid behavior yesterday was intentional, he wanted to make himself feel that things were normal by role playing as a powerhouse destroying his enemies.
He felt quite sad, he had just wasted his high grade aptitude and the inner sect disciple's position which had been reserved for him because of his aptitude felt fleeting away from his grasp.
Shen lowered his head and closed his eyes, he needed a moment to digest this. Due to his negligence, he had permanently his cultivation potential.
Elder Huang simply looked at the depressed lad curled up in front of him and didn't say anything.
After a while Shen raised his head and took a deep breath.
Even though his speed was going to be slower, he could still cultivate. He couldn't care less about the inner sect disciple position, he would have enough opportunities in the future to pursue it.
Of course he wasn't willing to sit down and wait for the meridians to be fixed on their own, he needed to get his hands on the meridian repairing pill.
As much as he wanted to ask Elder Huang to help him out, he couldn't bear to ask. Elder Huang had already done too much for him, Shen's value had plummeted after his high-grade aptitude was destroyed. In fact Elder Huang giving him information and pointers was already a favor being done to him.
He could be shameless he would be violating the respect he had formed for the elder and he had a strong feeling that the distance between his physical body and mind would become farther and farther apart.
" Please give me guidance elder! "
Elder Huang looked at him, as if he had seen through Shen's thoughts he started speaking.
" First, You don't have much time left before your deadline is over, give up on the inner sect disciple position which was reserved for you to someone who actually deserves it. "
" Second, You need to leave this place after this conversation ends and go live in the normal outer sect dorms. Start doing sect missions and earn some Sect merit or spirit stones. That way you can get the meridian repairing pill"
" Third, It wasn't the complete truth when I said that you couldn't cultivate. You can still cultivate your body, only qi circulation is forbidden for you. Otherwise the consequences will destroy your meridians and make you a cripple."
" Finally, lay low. Don't go on sticking your nose in everyone's business, not many know of your existence thus have no idea for whom the inner sect disciple seat has been reserved for. I will pull some strings and sell the reservation to someone else, come back to me in a month to collect the rewards, I have a feeling that you're gonna need them."
" That's it you may leave," After hearing these words Shen slowly got up and thanked the elder for his benevolence and started to leave with a heavy heart before he was stopped by Elder Huang's voice " Listen kid, I haven't yet properly thanked you for cleaning the garden yesterday have I, here take this"
As Shen turned his face back, a wooden token fell into his hands, As he wondered what it was for Elder Huang took the initiative to explain.
" If you submit this token to the Sect Management Pavilion, you would be assigned an isolated house. It's upto you if you want to live near other outer sect disciples or by yourself in an isolated residence."
Shen felt a little touched by this, thus he did a kowtow towards Elder Huang and sincerely thanked him and left the room.
Shen didn't really have much things to take away, he only had a pair of extra outer sect disciple robes, the clothes he was wearing when he first came into the sect and finally about 87 fasting pills.
After putting them in a small bag, he drifted off from the Elder Huang residence.
Shen's temples were curled up in annoyance and frustration, great it's only been about 15 days since he transmigrated out of which he spent 12 in seluction and 3 normally. In just two weeks he had managed to damage his own talent and got kicked out by the house owner.
The Elder joked around with him when his health was good, but he kicks him out after telling him basic information that he could've learnt at the academy!
According to his memories, this was a righteous sect. Without a proper reason and compensation they wouldn't kick anyone out, after all their face was what mattered the most to them.
Although the Elder Huang seemed like a good person doing him favors, he just wanted to kick him out now that he didn't have his high grade lightening aptitude anymore.
This just made Shen feel distasteful, but it's not like he could do anything right now. Apart from this, maybe the elder wasn't too bad, since he did give him a house token.
" Argh, I'm confused now should I think of him as a bad guy or a good guy. It's annoying," Shen's mood was pretty bad, so he decided to not go to the Outer Sect's Management Pavilion but instead go to the nearby lake.
After running through the trees for a while, he eventually reached it.
The lake expanded for thousands of meters, just looking at it made Shen feel a bit better as his mood elevated and became calmer.

" Inventory "
As soon as Shen spoke the words 'inventory', his mind went back to the endless darkness, this didn't feel as overbearing compared to when he first came here.
Without wasting much time, Shen dumped his clothes and his bag inside the inventory and retracted his mind out of the dark space.
Shen was standing on a cliff, buck naked as he saw the lake below him.
He was in creative mode right now, so he didn't need to breathe or eat nor could anything harm his body.
Shen needed the meridian repairing pill in order to fix his meridians, however those were too expensive as for how expensive, he had no idea.
To cultivate he needed that pill.
Now that he thought about it, he also needed to remaining chapters of the Thunderleaf Inner Resonance Scripture, he would need to toil a lot in order to exchange for them.
However....
Did he really need to?
Although Elder Huang told him to go to the Outer Management Pavilion, get a house, temper his body, work hard and do work for the sect.
He even gave him an option to live in an isolated place so that he doesn't have to give anyone any explanation.
" Hehe, it's not like I would be harming anyone. Furthermore, doesn't the sect itself have an obligation to teach the disciples properly!"
With a clear concise and a self-created righteous reasoning.
Shen gradually fell to his intrusive thought as his fingers started moving on the keyboard.
