Chapter 12 - Rob Them Naked

/gamemode spectator

As soon as Shen imagined these letters in his mind, his body immediately disappeared, although nothing in his vision changed. He could feel that he no longer had any physical form.

This was the second time, Shen had not felt this ever since 'that' time.

That time where he was made to do certain things for billions of years in the inventory.

Hiss..... those things were better left undiscussed, Shen suffered a lot back then.

However Shen didn't dwell on those thoughts anymore since there was a much more interesting thing to explore.

Shen felt his mind cleared up, his thinking speed became faster and faster. The restriction of a flesh brain was lifted up, Shen recalled this feeling.

His mind was currently at it's peak, he could process billions of things at once, with extremely high precision and detail.

This was what he had mentally spent 50 billion years to cultivate.

Thinking like this was almost natural for him, it was just that he needed to be careful while in his physical body lest he ended up frying his brain and killing himself.

Even so it wasn't exactly hard to control himself either, he had spent years in a locked up space tempering his mind while bearing unimaginable amounts of pain.

After a while, Shen decided to restrict his mind again and came back to what he would usually be in his physical body.

It was time,

Time to 'exchange' some medicinal pills.

With a grin, Shen imagined of moving upwards and sure enough, his height increased from the ground increased.

Shen kept moving upwards till he was about 50 meters high in the air.

With the destination fixed in his mind, Shen started flying towards the north.

.......

Surrounded by cultivators buzzing around all the time with cultivators inside out was a colossal pavilion with golden letters engraved at it's door.

' OUTER SECT ALCHEMY PAVILION '

These letters were deeply engraved on huge imposing door, the words were surrounded with golden dragons showing off the might and background of this terrifying place.

Even at this moment, hundreds of cultivators were inside, either practicing alchemy or buying pills.

Alchemy was one of the few jobs of a cultivator, those who had a certain threshold of knowledge about Alchemy could be considered Alchemists.

Alchemists focused on using medicinal ingredients to create pills.

It was no hidden knowledge that cultivation is hard, sometimes the density isn't high enough, sometimes the cultivator is injured, sometimes they are facing issues in breaking through.

All of these problems could be solved by pills, making Alchemy one of the most divine professions among cultivators.

Depending on their skill, either a rich alchemist could go bankrupt or a poor alchemist could earn enough wealth to buy all the 9 continents.

Take for example Shen's injured meridians, he had to wait for at least 3 years for them to be fixed naturally and his aptitude wouldn't increase no matter what.

However Alchemy could change that, it could fix his meridians in a matter of a few hours. And if the pill created is strong enough, it could even fix his aptitude.

Every cultivator needed pills at some point in their lives, and every alchemist needed a cultivator to sell their pills to. This created a very close relationship between Alchemy and Cultivation, to the point where people would dedicate their lives for mastering Alchemy.

Every cultivation sect invested high amounts of resources to give birth to alchemists, every sect wanted them. Words aren't enough to explain the importance of Alchemy.

Today was just like any other day for Wan Tong, he had been working hard to complete sect missions and cutting his own stomach to gather enough sect merit to buy a foundational pill.

He had promised his Junior Sister Xu that he would breakthrough into Foundation Establishment Realm in under 5 months.

This was the last month, Wan Tong was already at the peak of 10th stage of Qi Condensation realm.

Wan Tong had a plump physique and a plumper heart, he had no enemies and everyone liked him.

His life had been going great, once he purchased the Foundation Establishment Pill, he would immediately go into seluction and break through.

Then he would become an inner sect disciple and he would live with his Junior Sister Xu happily every after.

As he was day dreaming his fantasies, he had already entered the Alchemy Pavilion.

While standing in the line for exchanging pills, he kept drooling slightly as he thought of his future life with Junior Sister Xu as his wife.

After a while his turn finally came as he exchanged his merit points and was about to receive the pill.

As soon as the box landed in his hand a thunder like voice reverberated in the Alchemy Pavilion.

" STOP EVERYONE! "

" STAY WHERE YOU ARE, ANYONE WHO MOVES WILL BE EXECUTED ON THE SPOT! "

" eh? what happened ? "

" hmph! who are you to scold me like this, my brother is an inner sect disciple I dare you to touch me"

" Hmph! I am the young master of the Bing Clan, I will see who dares to threaten me"

" I am....."

" I am....."

The loud voice caused an outbreak within the masses as they started to show off their backgrounds to the loud voice showing that they were not easy to suppress.

" AND I AM THE F**KING ELDER OF THE ALCHEMY PAVILION, THE ENTIRE FU**ING TREASURE VAULT HAS BEEN EMPTIED JUST HOW, I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SUPRESS YOU ALL FOR CHECKING! "

It was obvious that whoever was loudly speaking all of this was in extreme rage, as if their own child had been kidnapped.

However after understanding the situation, the people stopped showing off their backgrounds and stood quietly, waiting for what awaited them since this situation was extremely critical.

..........

Shen was suspended 50 meters above the Outer Alchemy Pavilion, it was Shen's first time seeing hundreds of cultivators gathered at a single place.

Normally only a brain dead, retarded, testicles for brains fool would be dumb enough to rob this place in broad daylight.

However today Shen was The Fool.

Without wasting much time, Shen's ethereal figure descended and seemed to drown underground.

However as soon as he went under the ground he could pretty much see through the entire Alchemy Pavilion like x-ray.

Behind the main entrance was a huge space, aligned with chairs and receptions for people to exchange pills.

If one looked at their extreme left or extreme right, they would see countless rooms aligned with each other.

Inside these were alchemists practicing their skills and concocting pills.

On the first floor of the pavilion, there were rooms dedicated to managing information through complex arrays and formation.

This included information about who took which pill for how much or how much credit they had loaned, this was basically a bank dedicated to keeping track of transactions.

However what was interesting was that there were a few levels of underground rooms.

As Shen peeked into these rooms he saw Alchemists with more extravagant clothes working in lavish rooms.

It even made him envious, the life he had been living seemed to make him look like a beggar.

This only fueled his desire to forcibility extract compensation from the sect.

Under this floor, there was another one.

A cultivator with even more appealing clothes was concocting pills, he was focused to the extreme. He seemed to be lost in the trance of what he was doing as his entire focus was on the pill he was making.

To Shen this was a golden chance, as adjacent to this room was a vault.

Although he couldn't peek inside it, it wasn't a problem once he passed through the wall.

As his mind emerged inside a well-lit room filled with shelves, each of them were neatly labelled according to what they contained.

More than half of the shelves were filled will rare ingredients, the remaining were filled with boxes. Each labelled with it's name.

Qi Condensation Pill ... Meridian Enhancing Pill ..... Blood Nourishing Pill... Organ Tempering Pill... Foundation Establishment Pill..... Calm Mind Pill.... Spirit Enhancing Pill.... Mind Comprehension Pill... Red Vitality Pill.... Vital Essence Enhancing Pill ..... Meridian Repairing Pill.....

There were so many here!

Shen's eyes lit up when he saw the words Meridian Repairing , this is exactly what he 'needed'.

But now?

He wanted the entire treasury to himself!

As Shen's body floated he even found a few secret mechanisms, behind which books and cauldrons were were stored.

Embarking on the Dao of Alchemy.....What is Alchemy..... Compilation of Lake Lotus Sect's Pill Recipes.... Collection of Spiritual Herbs .... Lotus Petal Alchemy Flame Technique ... Basic terms of Alchemy...

This-

This was an entire inheritance!

There were several books here, most of which contained confidential information related to the lotus sect's research of alchemy.

This was just the Outer Sect's Alchemy Pavilion yet it was so fat!

Let the benevolent Shen Wang help you shred some weight!

After taking a quick look at the cultivator who was still lost in his trance, Shen found his chance.

His mind quickly imagined the following words.

/gamemode creative

/effect give Shen Wang speed 255 100000

/effect give Shen Wang Invisibility 255 100000

Shen's body materialized before disappearing again, however to Shen this felt normal.

He could feel this body without any problems, without wasting any time his hands swiftly moves across the entire room.

At first he put entire shelves into his inventory.

Once the room became empty, he stole all the books and alchemy techniques which were hidden.

Seeing that he still had the opportunity and that the floors and walls were made up of things that looked expensive and had a hint of spirituality in them, he bagged them up in his inventory as well.

Shen didn't even spare the orbs which lit up the room, taking them for himself.

Shen's invisible body immediately vanished and only he remained as a spectator.

With slight nervousness he ventured outside the vault, however the cultivator was still lost in his own world.

It was as if he was a monolith, the passage of time didn't matter nothing could shake his focus.

As the cultivator sat down, huge amounts of qi gathered around him, delicately nourishing the cauldron in front of him.

While the cultivator was focused on the cauldron in front of him, Shen was also very focused on the treasures in the room.

Tiles that illuminated light, Pillars that had middle grade spirit stones lying around them.

Shen had to take a little risk, if things really went bad it would only take a little less than half a second for him to go back into spectator mode.

Bird died for food, human died for greed.

Shen immediately went into creative mode, the effects which he had been relying on did not dissipate yet.

In another few minutes everything in the room behind the cultivator's eyes had vanished.

Just as Shen was go about to go back into spectator mode he saw the cultivator's glimmering clothes.

He couldn't help making a slight contact with the cultivator's robes as they vanished into his inventory.

Although the cultivator groaned a little, he was immediately pulled back into alchemy as the cauldron started to shake as soon as he lost focus.

Now the cultivator was only wearing an underwear, and oh what an underwear it was.

Every thread of the underwear shone brilliantly with spiritual qi, systematically woven fabric of the underwear gave off an ethereal feeling.

Shen slightly poked the underwear before him and the underwear disappeared into oblivion.

After 40 minutes the cauldron rumbled a little and then bright light came out of it.

It was finally done!

He could finally advance into the Inner Alchemy Pavilion.

He had finally concocted a Golden Core Pill!

This was a milestone in his life.

The cultivator felt extreme joy, as if he had achieved ascension.

He stood tall with nothing to restrict him, not even clothes.

That's when the cultivator realized that something was off, as he started to look around himself, his expression changed from happy to gloomy to grave to that of a 100 year old wrinkled grandpa.

His face was blue in anger as he released a deafening roar.

" STOP EVERYONE! "
