Chapter 2 - Not Really But Yes Cause Why Not Right?

"Keep calm and write something..." was written on the blank page that was infront of Jin Un. He was confused about what this game was and what was happening. He suddenly remembered. Years ago, as he was wasting his life away, there was one point where he became addicted to manhuas. He remembered the time that he poured in all the thousand manhuas he used to read and they always had that one reused plot and set of characters that is exactly like solo lvling with different names. Had he become a character in a fictional story. More importantly, had he actually become the main character. Of course he had. Because this is called lazy writing. Jin Un started thinking. Is his world actually a manhua that is being read by many readers. The more he thought the more confused he became. Then he came to a conclusion. Why care? Not like the main characters in these story actually contemplated about the fact that they are in a manhua. If he thought too much, the plot wouldn't progress and all you needy readers start complaining.

Jin Un reached out his finger tapped the empty page. A blinking line appeared on the screen followed by a keyboard that popped in front of him. He felt a mysterious feeling. Probably because the author is trying to spice things up and create tension. Before he could type anything, "BOOM!" a blinding light followed by a shockwave shattered the windows. The glass shards missed Jin Un by a millimeter as he had the power of plot armour. He rushed to peer outside the window. Chaos ensued all over the city of Seoul as fire burned and buildings crumble. In the midst of things, dozens of mysterious black holes that looked like a crack in reality are scattered all over. Gates, or portals as they say in french. Coming out of the gates were monsters from fantasy settings: orcs, goblins, ogres. Jin Un was not surprised at all. This was mainly because he is a main character and as mentioned previously, the story wouldn't progress if the main character didn't adapt. For him, these monsters are the ones to come out first in all the manhuas he previously read and he knew exactly how to deal with them.

Jin Un knew what was next, "Status!" He exclaimed. A blue screen appeared in front of him which displayed a whole list of stats. "Typical", he thought, all the authors always use this concept in their writing because readers like them. Strength: 10. Vitality: 10. Agility: 10. Mana: 10. Your typical stats in a game. What caught his eye was the button which when pressed appeared a the screen which held the empty page for his novel. But this time, it was not so empty, Jin Un was surprised and he read the lines. His jaw dropped. Written down were the events word for word as the what he had experienced this afternoon. From the kombucha to the outburst of the gates. Jin Un started packing up to leave. He realised something. He realised what the message that had previously appeared was about. He now holds an unfathomable amount of power in this new world.
