He was unbelievably strong as the hour was coming to an end. He encountered many different monsters throughout the grind. It was almost as if he was the main character and this 1 hour was given specially for him to get stronger. At first, he fought goblins and orcs. But as he got stronger, stronger mobs would appear so that he could defeat them and he never encountered any monster too strong for him to defeat because he was the main character. He had leveled up multiple times and gotten a few more new skills as well as bonus stat points from achievements. Jin Un opened his stat window. He was now level 13 and had 2 new skills: Magic Bullet and Barrier. Magic Bullet which shot a bullet formed from mana to hit the opponent. Barrier, created a magic barrier which blocked physical and magic attacks. Both of them required mana to use and luckily he had constantly put his stat points into Mana and now had 34 Mana. Jin Un looked at his Slash skill. The proficiency was now at 3.4% and the damage he was dealing had increased. Jin Un put quite the amount into his Strength as his slash skill relied on it but didn't really put any into Defense and Vitality, simply making up for it by having high damage and 1 shotting all the monsters.
Jin Un also got many items from the grind. He fought monsters like ogres, lizards, undeads which included skeletons and zombies. Jin Un also encountered a field or forest boss, but it was just a side character that wouldn't have any screen time and was not worth explaining. He got an extremely powerful sword from an ogre which he killed but wasn't because of the ogre, but his main character luck. It was a lustrous katana with a completely black blade and had a leather handle. When appraised, the description shows the name of the sword: "The sword of the MC" and that it granted the user a 20% increase in damage. But it had a special feature, just as a main character's weapon would have. The weapon's damage can grow and it would eventually unlocked new skills as the user killed more monsters. Ever since he got the sword, the stats or damaged hadn't increased at all. But it gave him an idea.
Jin Un opened the screen to the novel which recorded his story. He found the part where he just gotten the sword and checked the description. There, he changed the damage increase of 20% to 50%. As he confirmed the action, a message popped out which said: "Insufficient Mana." Jin Un deduced that the more he changed or further back into the past the change was, the Mana cost will increase. Then, he scrolled to the most recent time where he checked the description and changed it from 20% to 50% again. This time, another notification popped out again but it said: "Would you like to make this change for 30 Mana." Jin Un clicked "Yes", and a yellow light glowed on his sword. When Jin Un checked its description, it had turned into 50%. He was happy that the theory was correct but once he checked the cooldown time, he was angry. It had a cooldown of 2 hours. He never thought about the cooldown but at least he could still use the skill. About the same time as he closed the window, a notification appeared. The First Tutorial is starting and Jin Un is about to destroy all the side characters.
