Jin Un ran downstairs with a bag slung over his shoulders. Cracks and debris were littered and scattered on the ground ranging from concrete bits to metal shards. A few flames were alit at the exit of the building. The sky had turn dim with a tint of blood red light radiating from the sun. Jin Un saw the horrors that had happened and is still happening to the city. A grunt suddenly came from the edge of the block. A goblin appeared from the dim surroundings. It snarled and gnashed its teeth at the sight of Jin Un. Jin Un took out the knife that he had readied in his bag. The goblin dashed in an undignified manner and pounced on him. Jin Un closed his eyes. With the guide of his plot armour and main character abilities, he took the head that was resting on the goblin's shoulders. Blood was all over his hands, but he felt nothing as he had a hidden power that not even the system knew, the power of a main character to be able to keep calm after brutally murdering a creature.
A blue screen appeared, carrying a notification: "You have leveled up because you are the main character. And since you are the main character, you are always the first to kill a monster; +5 strength." Jin Un felt something warm flow through his body. That sounded weird, but it was power that flowed through him. He felt slightly stronger, the cliche line that always appears when describing stat growth. Jin Un checked his stat window. A new text appeared at the bottom which indicated that he had gained 5 new skill points. He pressed the "+" sign that had also appeared next to the stats. After evenly spreading out he had one extra point. He put the skill point into mana, knowing that it would be useful because his main character intuition told him to. Strength: 16, Vitality: 11, Agility: 11, Mana: 12. Jin Un felt stronger than he ever was.
Jin Un opened the page on his stat window where the mysterious novel is written on. Sure enough, it had updated and once again, it was complete in full detail of what Jin Un had experienced. He tapped the text on the screen, out comes a keyboard. He had a few things he wanted to try. He glanced through the recent paragraph and found the sentences he was looking for. "Jin Un checked his stat window. A new text appeared at the bottom which indicated that he had five new stat points. Jin Un clicked on the number five, changed the number to six and pressed enter. A notification popped up confronting Jin Un with a "Yes" and "No" button followed by a text. "Would you like to edit this for twelve Mana points?" He knew it, the main character intuition allowed him to successfully predict what stat he needed. Jin Un was excited with his new discovery and pressed "Yes" without hesitation. He immediately switched back to his character profile and there it was, one extra stat point. And once again, without hesitation, he spent his stat point on mana. Jin Un, overjoyed with his skill, jumped back to the the novel to see what else he could do.
