Volume 6, Chapter 3: Kazanzakis-san's Villa
They descended into the mountains of Yamato's capital on Wyverns.
After flying for a long time, completely parched, we followed Aoi to a beautiful mansion in the mountains.
"I know that Yamato's women can be scary, but is there any reason to come this far into the wilderness?" I asked Aoi.
"I think it's better to be cautious. This place is technically my mother's property, but Kazanzakis's grandfather bought and manages it, so it should be safe," Aoi replied.
"Oh," I said, impressed by the information.
As always, Kazanzakis-san has good taste. There's a beautiful river nearby, and it seems like a relaxing place.
Aoi knocked on the mansion's door, and an elderly couple greeted us with smiles.
"We'll rest here today," I said, and I received a cup of water from a beautiful woman who came out after the elderly couple.
Aoi looked at me with a frightening expression and knocked the cup out of my hand.
"Who are you?" Aoi demanded fiercely.
"Oh, this child is..." the elderly couple seemed flustered.
"Tsk, you found out. I had my fun reading you all, but it looks like I've been caught," the beautiful woman said as she removed her wig.
A boyish girl with short hair appeared.
"You're Princess Kyoka!" Aoi shouted.
What? She's a princess?
"Kyoka-san!" Mitsuki seemed surprised.
"Sorry about that, but women's battles can be tough," Kyoka said with a smile.
"Skill: Spider's Thread!" A voice called out from behind us.
When we looked, the Wyverns were being wrapped in threads that resembled fine spider silk.
There was a cute girl with semi-long hair.
"You, are you Princess Yuina, the Ninth Princess?" Mitsuki was dumbfounded.
"Darn it, my legs are paralyzed!" Aoi shouted.
"Sorry, Mitsuki. Love is a serious battle," Yuina said.
Love?
Is love putting medicine in water and using skills to wrap someone up so they can't escape on a Wyvern?
"Siblings! Is she really a princess?" Appolito looked astonished.
"It seems like they know each other from Mitsuki's attitude, but..." I was also taken aback.
"No good. This thread is unusual," Murasaki tried to cut the thread with her short sword, but it wouldn't cut.
"We sisters have sealed this mountain. From tonight, we'll have a serious battle of love with you all," Kyoka said, winking at me.
Terrifying.
She says it so cheerfully, but what she's actually doing is completely different.
"This, this is a wild beast!" I couldn't help but shout.
"It's still nothing. The really scary ones will come later," Aoi said, scanning the area with sharp eyes.
"This is scarier than when we faced a thousand Pilates," Appolito's eyes were swimming.
It was the first time I'd seen Appolito so shaken since becoming his sworn brother.
"We're done for. All the rumored King's Falcon Princesses are here," Aoi turned pale.
"What, those King's Falcon Princesses?"
"I heard that the mother of the King's Falcon, who became the queen after attacking the King, taught her daughters how to do it," Murasaki said.
What is that?
It's a little too scary.
"This is bad. They'll probably target this place," Aoi looked anxious.
"Yeah, let's use Skill Detection, brother. We should be able to detect the people in the mountain," I asked Appolito, who seemed disturbed.
"That's right. Since this mountain was bought by our grandfather, there shouldn't be ordinary people here," he replied.
"Got it, let's check it out with Skill Detection," Appolito searched the mountain with his detection skill.
"Hooeeyyy!"
Appolito let out a strange voice.
"What's wrong, brother?"
"T-the thing is, there are a thousand of them. And, they've indirectly surrounded us by calling all the noble daughters of the Falcon," Appolito said.
"How did this happen?"
Aoi bit her fingernail in frustration.
Terrifying.
Really terrifying.
"Anyway, I've called for replacement Wyverns. Let's hurry and escape from here," Mitsuki said, looking around at everyone.
