Volume 6, Chapter 6: The Supreme Council Reconvenes
At an incredibly luxurious round table, the King, Prime Minister, Duke Ijuuin, Duke Saitou, Duke Miyata, Duke Sugimoto, Duke Mita, and Marquis Fujiwara are seated.
This is the meeting place for the Supreme Council, where they discuss matters of utmost importance to the nation, such as politics and military affairs.
"Kuh, Miyabi has betrayed us!"
The King slams the table and shouts.
"Indeed, she was not a fierce bird, as I suspected."
Duke Ijuuin strikes a pose.
"What should we do? What can we possibly do?"
The King grinds his teeth.
"I won't forgive her! I won't forgive anyone who doesn't experience this Yamato tradition of hell!"
The King yells.
"Even my daughter, Aoi. I sent her some powerful energy and stamina-enhancing potions, but it seems she hasn't used them."
The Prime Minister looks troubled.
"He was a loner, you see. We should have let our guard down more to attract him. Just like in the legend of our ancestors, we should have opened our hearts during events that would make a loner happy and then introduced a fierce bird."
Duke Miyata expresses remorse.
"War is about numbers, brother! There weren't enough of us."
Duke Mita adds.
"That's Dozle's line. Brings back memories. By the way, I heard Colonel Shi**a has betrayed us."
Marquis Fujiwara looks concerned.
"Well, that's fine. After all, Shi**a has killed G*mma."
Duke Mita happily remarks.
"Really? Is that okay?"
Marquis Fujiwara is surprised.
"It looks more authentic that way."
Duke Mita laughs.
"You're fine with anything if it's about First G*ndam, aren't you?"
The King looks exasperated.
"Well, should we ask that person for help?"
Duke Saitou proposes.
The room of the Supreme Council buzzes with commotion.
"What, what did you say!"
Duke Sugimoto is shocked.
"But if we bring that person in, things will surely get chaotic... It might be entertaining, though."
Duke Ijuuin laughs.
"For now, we just want him to become our true companion rather than simply having fun with other women as Yamato's royalty."
Duke Saitou smiles.
"As Yamato's royalty, he shouldn't be the only one happy with someone else while we aren't."
The Prime Minister mutters like a curse.
"Alright, we'll introduce Shura. Moreover, that version."
The King solemnly declares.
"Well, concerning the child, we can manage if we use fierce birds after Shura. We've already deployed a large number of skill-recovery mages. Besides, he's involved. Once it's over, even he won't be able to move."
Duke Miyata smiles meaningfully.
"We'll make him understand that he's Yamato's royalty with his own body!"
The King raises his fist and shouts.
By the way, in Yamato, "Shura" refers to a fierce bird that goes to great lengths, not minding the means, to get married after passing the appropriate age.
