Chereads / Kissed By Fire / Chapter 7 - Snow

Chapter 7 - Snow

It's too early so I have decided to go back to school. After I talked with Rihanna – that schoolmate of mine who told me a lot of things about Herondale, she left first saying that she needed to go.

I am walking in a slow pace when I suddenly realize that I am about to cross paths with the cheering team being led by their captain, Snow De Chavez. The rumored "mistress" of my boyfriend.

And she's really doing her job as the leader. She's walking in front while the others are tailing from behind her. She did not notice that I was looking at her because she's busy coloring her lips while her other hand is holding a mirror. If how can she manage to do that is a mystery to me. Or perhaps, she practiced it considering she's one obsessed on how she looks all the time.

Snow is that kind of person who's really vain that I bet even the under of her shoes are flawless. She's being hated by a lot but if I am being honest, she's really beautiful. She's got a red hair, milky skin, towering height that enunciates the curves on her body. She could actually pass as a model.

When she was already near me, it also happens that she's also done with what she is doing. I faked a smile when our eyes met.

"Hi, Arya," she greeted me all smiles that looks very fake it made me wince.

"Hello, Snow," I greeted back in the same tone making sure she knows that I am also faking it just like her. She just smirked at that then continue walking.

When I looked around, let it be girls or boys, everyone's eyes are on her. Every boy in this school obviously wants to bang her. Even Rennan. However, when my twin brother noticed her personality, he changed his mind.

I just resumed walking as well. After all, I do not want to be dubbed as a fan of that Snow so I just went to the library to do the activities I missed because of the game last time. I got the checklist from our class president then started right away.

It may not look like it but I really care about my studies. Actually, I was third honor in our class and everyone is saying that I could be the first honor if it isn't because of volleyball. I did not mind since being a first honor isn't really what I want nor my priority. Learning and being able to make a better version of myself is enough for me. One more thing, I do not want to spoil my high school years taking my studies seriously to the extent of thinking it as competition.

"Arya Astrid Fonacier"

I looked back to check who called me and saw my twin brother with a serious look on his face. We usually bully each other but when he's like this, I know that I should not make any jokes or even try to be funny.

"What is it?"

"A fellow told me that a student from Herondale High approached you. Did he do something to you?" his voice is firm but at the same time dead worried.

I shook my head. "Nothing. He just asked about the admission rules here in our school because her sister wants to study here."

What a lie, Arya! Fifty points for the House Fonacier!

Rennan didn't say anything because probably he's looking for the truth on my face so I made sure to look him straight in the eye. One wrong twitch on my face, he knows it.

He then sighed. "That got me nervous. If ever that bastard did something I'm sure that our brothers will burn down Herondale High."

I silently agree with that. Rennan doesn't lie. If it happened that Blaise did something to me, my brothers will kill him, no doubt, and being an Alpha won't save him.

"He seems nice, to be honest. Anyway, are we going home?" I asked instead changing the topic because I am afraid that I might mention about Maven. I only intend to tell Trina and Gail about it.

"Have Maven take you home. I'll go to Jacob's after this," he said referring to his friend.
