Chapter 13 - Chapter 13

"Who's my master?" Replied Dian in a slightly confused tone.

"Yes, I've actually arrived a couple of minutes earlier, and I managed to observe a large portion of your fight, even though your strength requires improvement, your qi-gong (movement technique) is terrifying, that wolf only managed to strike you three times by depending on his massive advantage in strength as strong enough that a human at the level 3 Martial Disciple stage will have a tough time fighting him."

"The more I think about it, the more remarkable it seems, so I was wondering who taught you your techniques" Continued Tian Bai.

"Oh, then I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I've no master, I'm fully self-taught" Replied Dian, he obviously didn't tell him that this so called qi-gong technique was the Military Movement technique publicly available to any registered hunter in his original world.

Tian Bai was shocked! "You taught yourself such abilities? here in this back-water village?! A talent like this is unbelievable!" the way Tian Bai looked at Dian changed, as he began taking Dian seriously, he seemed to notice something that he unintentionally ignored previously.

Previously, when he watched as Dian battle the wolf, he concluded that Dian strength was at the very first level of the Martial Disciple stage, but as he had a deeper look at Dian, because of Tian Bai powerful abilities, he was able to see many things that others couldn't, and he noticed that Dian's body was devoid of inner energy.

This shocked him, because, in this world, unlike in Garia, Dian's original world, where Martial Artists strengthen their bodies through physical training and various advanced techniques, medicines and Wild Beast corpses which allow the body to grow stronger.

The Martial Artists in this world use inner energy to strengthen themselves, without inner energy, a Martial Artist couldn't exhibit his many abilities.

That is, unless he practices in the rare Body Strengthening techniques, but according to Dian, he was purely self-taught, this made Tian Bai jump into conclusions and assume he is a rare case of a person being born with the legendary Empowered Body constitution, where his body is naturally strong from birth.

Tian Bai began thinking to himself 'If our Raging Sword sect manages to add this young man to our roster, our position as the strongest sect of the Blue Wind kingdom is guaranteed, as long he grows, he will likely reach Martial Warrior stage, I must rope him in!'

"Young man, what is your name?"

"I am called Luo, As I was born in the Pao Mountain village, you can call me Luo of Pao, or Luo Pao"

"'Alright then Luo Pao, do you want to become my disciple, go back with me to the Raging Sword sect and become a true Martial Artist?"

Previously, Dian saw no reason to become a hunter again in this new world, As there was no threat like the Wild Beast that Dian knew of in this new world, apart from some unconfirmed legends of immortals and rumours of Martial Artists.

This incident with the big wolf that attacked the village reminded Dian of the fragility of the average human, and showed him once again, that in a world that had many strong and mysterious beings, the only way to assuredly live a happy and long life, is to be strong, strong enough that no other will dare to disturb your peace.

"Yes" Replied Dian.

"Great! Great! Now quickly, bow to me 3 times and become my first disciple"

Dian did as instructed, and became the first disciple of an elder of the Raging Sword sect.
