Originally, the group arrived in this remote mountain range to train their newly recruited outer disciples and get them used to life and death battles by fighting with the beasts of the forests under the watch of Elder Tian.
Because the beasts of the forest are not weak, but not as strong as level 1 Vicious Beasts, they were perfect for training the newly recruited outer disciples, as they all just started their Martial journey and became level 1 Martial Disciples not long ago.
The Raging Sword Sect was impartial, everyone was treated the same, regardless of background or history, the only thing that mattered there was strength. That was why a Disciple like Xie Qian, with her great status as the daughter of a Great Elder, is only an inner disciple and not a core disciple. And that was also why Dian was currently donning the outer disciple robes, even though he had an Elder for a master.
During the next few days, the group, now including the newly recruited Dian, was hunting the many beasts of the forests they went through, while they continued towards the Raging Sword Mountains, where the Raging Sword Sect was located.
Every morning when he woke up, he kept up the usual routine he had back on Garia and trained in the Military Martial Arts, after a couple of hours practice, the group will continue towards the sect and then open camp at a new spot at around the late hours of the afternoon, then the disciples will hunt the beasts surrounding the camp. Once the night begins, Dian retreats back to his tent and works on creating as many strands of Inner Energy as he could before he falls asleep deep into the night.
Compared to the other outer disciples, Dian's hunting experience coupled with his ever-growing strength allowed him to shine in comparison to the inexperienced newbies.
Sandwiched between three tall mountains that seemed like gigantic swords, there was a deep valley. If one looked carefully, he would be able to see many dots all over the valley and the mountains, those dots were large amounts of eastern courtyards, they covered the the mountains like the spots on a Red Spotted Tiger.
Those mountains were the Raging Sword Mountains.
Eventually, after months of traversing, the group finally arrived at the sect.
"Martial Brother Luo, this is your first time seeing the sect mountains, isn't it? shocking, right?" a youngster named Wu Xuefeng with short black hair and an above average face, he seemed to be slightly older than Dian, and he was 175 cm tall. Which was coincidentally the same height as Dian, who grew taller the last two years.
"Sure is! I can't wait to get my own courtyard and start training without any distractions!" said Dian to Wu Xuefeng while a look of determination flashed on his face.
"You really are obsessed with strength, aren't ya? I mean, who isn't, but you are a special case!" Wu Xuefeng laughed and said.
"I expected you to rest a bit after you broke through to level 2 not long ago" he said.
"No way, Martial Brother Wu! you can never have too much strength, in my opinion. I strive to become strong! the strongest!" Dian replied, making Wu Xuefeng nod his head, he, too, felt inspired to grow stronger now.
Over the past few months, Dian was approached by many of the disciples, among the many disciples that approached him he could tell who wanted to use his him for connections and who were genuinely interested in becoming close to him.
Dian didn't turn any of them away, those who wanted to take advantage of him were kept in mind, and Dian wouldn't get close to them, and will instead take advantage of them in the future if the opportunity ever came.
And on the other hand, those people who were genuine, he would take seriously and treat with respect.
Wu Xuefeng was one of the more talented newbies, and like like Luo, he came from a remote village, and managed to enter the sect.
Because of his upfront personality, humble outlook, love for strength and genuine intentions, he and Dian quickly grew closer.
