Chapter 21 - Chapter 21

"I was recently informed by the Fallen Leaf Sect's Martial Elder that the spies they planted inside the Golden Leopard Sect have said that the Golden Leopard Sect's Grand Elder, who was never seen in public ever since he stepped down from his position as the Sect Master decades ago, is in fact still alive, and is preparing to break through into the Martial Warrior stage" The dominant voice of Wei Tianfeng, the current Martial Warrior of the Raging Sword Sect rang out.

Upon digesting the information, many of the sect's higher up voiced concern, suspicion and worry about the future.

"If this information could be trusted, then the implications of this are too frightening." A long-faced middle-aged man said after the room descended into silence.

Wei Tianfeng replied to him immediately. "Correct. Ever since the three sects were founded, no one has ever broken the balance of power between them.

If the Golden Leopard Sect succeeds in raising a second Martial Warrior, the peace upheld by the stable balance will be in danger, and the Blue Wind Kingdom will weaken as a whole once the flames of war begin burning."

Martial Elder Wei Tianfeng then passed down a bunch of orders.

"We also have our own spies in the Golden Leopard Sect, order them to check the validity of this information. We will act accordingly after assessing the situation and gathering as much information as we can. We cannot allow the balance to be broken by the Golden Leopard Sect."

After that, the higher ups continued to discuss many matters relating to the sect.

Time quickly flew by, and the date of the outer sect tournament grew closer and closer.

Every day, once Dian woke up, he would train in the Military Martial Arts from his previous world, Garia, for hours.

Once he was finished, he would either go to the lecture hall or the sect literary library to expand his knowledge.

Most of the books there were very interesting to him, as they told many stories of the history of Martial Arts and the legendary tales of flying immortals capable of divine acts by controlling the energy of the world.

Dian was already a fan of such novels back in Garia, so he enjoyed reading those books.

In the afternoon, Dian would train in the Raging Sword Art repeatedly for hours, until he was too tired, and went to bed.

When he was new to creating Inner Energy, a single session would tire him so much that he would have to take a long rest to let his body recover before continuing.

Nowadays though, Dian could repeatedly practice the Raging Sword Art for hours before tiring.

Dian would also practice in the two sword techniques that he knew.

The Raging Sword Style which was in the Raging Sword Art and is passed to every disciple of the sect. And, The Dark Crane Sword Style that his own Master, Elder Tian, taught him, it was a unique and stronger Sword Technique that Tian Bai found when he was young, and is the reason for his strength and position as a Sect Elder.

Unlike the Raging Sword Style. This technique was passed only to him.

The focus of this technique is speed and agility.

The technique has three major move sets.

Crane Dance, which is composed of quick sword slashes, simple, but very effective.

Crane Lunge, which allows you to close the distance between yourself and your opponent, giving you the advantage of attacking from a position of strength.

And Crane Flight, which is composed of sword thrusts that are fast enough to penetrate the enemy before he even notices it.

Dian would spend his time practicing the many sword moves inside every one of the three major move sets.

The night before the day of the tournament, Dian was practicing the Raging Sword Art and creating Inner Energy to absorb, when suddenly, he felt his body heating up slightly more than the usual feeling of warmth he gets when absorbing the Inner Energy he creates.

'Hahaha! I can't believe it, I've broken through to the third level just in time for the tournament! with this I'm practically invincible in the Outer Sect, I should easily be able to get in the top three."

Dian was now a level three Martial Disciple.
