That same night, at his tent, Dian was looking at the many things that he received from Tian Bai.
After appreciating the quality of the Malevolent Crane Sword, Dian began reading through the first layer of Raging Sword Art, the scroll described many unique movements and bizarre stances, coupled with almost meditative breathing techniques that once preformed together consecutively, are supposed to being about the creation of inner energy inside the blood stream of the practitioner.
The scroll was written in the common language of the Jade Continent, luckily for Dian, when he absorbed Luo's soul and took over his body, he also absorbed all of his memories, including the memories of the common language.
The problem was, even though the amount of word that Luo knew to read was surprising considering his humble upbringing in a random desolate village, because of early years at the orphanage. It was still not a lot.
Luckily for him, though, the technique was almost entirely depicted in many drawing of poses and movements, and after almost an hour he managed to decipher almost all the words written there.
Just to make sure he wasn't wrong about their meanings, he went to Tian Bai's tent, who helped him understand the technique very easily and even provided him an example of a full set of training with the technique.
Excited, Dian quickly thanked Tian Bai for his help before returning to his tent and immediately starting training in the Raging Sword Art.
He quickly began moving his body uniquely, twisting and turning at a slow pace, a very bizarre scene that seemed like some sort of weird contemporary dance.
Soon, he began experiencing perspiration, the movements were very tasking on the body, and after only a couple of moments he felt fairly tired, "Not yet... I'm almost at the last stance of the set" Dian greet his teeth and kept moving through the stances.
Finally, after a full 8 minutes passed since he began practicing the technique, he reached the last stance, his hands on the floor and his leg turned at a weird angle, as if he was in the middle of an intense game of twister "finally" he said before his body collapsed down to the floor.
Very quickly, a feeling of warmth spread through his veins.
That feeling was the creation of inner energy inside his blood stream.
The so called 'inner energy' is a form of energy converted from the body energy that was created by the processing of food by using the many weird movements of the Raging Sword Art.
"This is amazing! I can feel myself getting stronger already!" as the inner energy merged into his bloodstream, with every circulation of his blood, his body was growing slightly stronger, a couple of minutes later, the effects of the inner energy dulled, because of the measly amount of inner energy he had, it was only able to slightly strengthen him.
Before he produced inner energy, his body was only at the level of a mid grade Private rank from his original world, and he was very close to becoming a high grade.
Now, after the inner energy upgraded his body slightly, he quickly broke through into the high grade.
"Unbelievable! this 'inner energy' is basically a cheat code compared to the rigorous training and Wild Beast ingredients required to power up as a Martial Artist back in Garia" Dian felt a surge of motivation wash over him, he couldn't wait to see how strong he could become!
After resting for a while and making sure his body was in good enough shape, he continued practicing in the Martial Art a couple more times throughout the night before he finally fell asleep.
Unbeknownst to Dian, even for the most physically talented practitioners, it usually takes months of getting used to the Martial Art and a gradual strengthening of the body before succeeding in producing the first strand of inner energy.
Unlike the others, Dian's body was already at the level of a mid grade Private rank, which was equal to a mid grade level 1 Martial Disciple. So he swiftly created inner energy at his first try.
This achievement shocked Tian Bai the next day, when Dian greeted him, he was completely shocked.
Three days ago at the village, Tian Bai sensed that Dian was a mid grade level 1 Martial Disciple, but because he didn't practice in any conventional Martial Arts he didn't have an ounce of inner energy inside him.
But currently, he sensed that Dian was already a high grade Martial Disciple, and he also had residual inner energy radiating from him, this implied that Dian managed to create inner energy after only a single day of trying, this was an achievement never seen before in the entire history of the continent according to the knowledge of Tian Bai.
'At this pace, he might even become a Martial Warrior before the tournament! his talent is way too shocking! luckily I didn't tell the disciples that he didn't have inner energy before, if rumours of this gets out, the other sects won't allow him to live. For his own safety, I must keep this a secret!'
He quickly called Dian over and explained to him how he must never tell others that he never had inner energy before, he instructed him to lie and say that he was practicing since he was young.
Dian obviously agreed, he preferred to keep a low profile, especially when he wasn't strong enough to protect himself from potential enemies.
