Sky's Point of View
"Are you crazy, Sky? Why did you kiss Luna?" my brother scolded.
"I-I don't know? Maybe I just got carried away."
He looked at me. "Why are you so concerned about your image with Luna?"
I pondered. He's right. Why am I so concerned about my image with Luna? She's just my student. If she finds out about my past, she's free to avoid me. Besides, teaching her guitar is difficult anyway.
"Yeah, right. Maybe I should just leave her alone," I said while tuning the guitar I brought with me.
"I don't know, Sky. But I think you're getting closer to Luna," he said.
Getting closer? We've only known each other for three weeks. She's been following me around for three weeks too. She's annoying, nosy, and loud.
"I don't think so. I'll go back to the classroom. We still have work to do." I stood up and left the conference room. My classmates still haven't finished designing. Turns out Nina has been messaging me since earlier.
I approached Nina to hand her the pair of scissors I brought from the conference room. We were running out of scissors in the classroom because many of us weren't prepared for the section competition.
Lindway Academy. Full of rich students, but they can't afford scissors.
I didn't see Luna in the classroom. She must be with her three friends.
I headed to the cafeteria to buy rice. It's lunch break, and I seem to have more viands than rice in my packed lunch from my brother.
"Can I join you?" I looked at the person who spoke. Porsche? She placed her food tray on my table.
"Wow. Since when did you get Lindway food on a tray? That thing almost costs 100 pesos per meal, huh?" I remarked.
"Since I realized I'm worth something to other people." She smirked.
I cleared my throat and continued eating. I couldn't really push her away because many people know her, and the cafeteria is crowded too.
I raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "Worth something to other people? Huh?"
"Yeah. My mom. What do you think of me? Flirty? Taking money from guys?" She frowned.
I shook my head and continued with my meal.
This is stupid. What is she doing here, ruining my day?
I turned my attention to the people who entered the cafeteria laughing loudly. I saw Luna laughing along with Bryan and their two other friends.
"I'll go ahead. I suddenly lost my appetite." I stood up and carried my packed lunch.
I just passed by Luna's table. She glanced at me, but I avoided her gaze.
I don't think I'm getting closer to her.
I stopped walking when I saw Jude entering the cafeteria. He smiled at me before going inside.
I peeked inside to see if he was going to Luna. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him heading straight to his friends' table. It's still them.
Those jerks.
I went back to the classroom to help with the decorations again. When I returned, there were only a few classmates left. It seems our teacher dismissed us early because there was nothing for us to do. The classroom looked beautiful. We chose a cultural theme. Some of us would sell halo-halo, while others wanted to wear traditional clothes.
"Capariño, the SSG President is looking for you," a student shouted. It was Greg, the SSG auditor.
I followed Greg to the office. Inside, Janice was standing with her arms crossed, giving me a hostile look.
"You're just wandering around, Capariño? I thought you were supposed to help us organize the event?" she said angrily.
"Sorry. What else can I do?" I asked.
She looked at me. "Maybe you should perform."
Perform? I'm already part of my brother's band. But fine. I don't want to get scolded by Janice. She's quite mean as our president.
"Sure. I'll do my best."
Janice let me leave the office, and I headed straight to the music room. There are many instruments there, but only a few students go to that place.
I was greeted by a dim and dusty room. I turned on the lights to see inside, but I was disappointed to find it empty. Maybe because it hasn't been used for a while, another department closed it off.
I swept away the dust and arranged the chairs. I opened the windows and pulled back the curtains to let the air and sunlight in.
I returned to the classroom to get the guitar I borrowed from the conference room.
I rushed to the music room when I saw someone locking the door. It was Kuya Jeff, the janitor of this floor.
"Can you open it, Kuya Jeff? I need to use it," I politely asked.
"Sure, son. It's been a while since you practiced here in the music room, huh?" he replied with a smile.
I scratched my head.
"Yeah, I do. I need to play again now because it's required."
"Well, do your best, son." He opened the music room door and went on with mopping the hallway.

Luna's Point of View
As I entered the classroom, I immediately looked for Sky. I needed to talk to him about what happened earlier.
"Looking for something?" I almost screamed when Jude tapped me on the shoulder.
He showed me two tickets with "This is not free" written on them.
"These are for our section. You didn't show up to help, so our classmates decided to make you the first customer," he smiled.
"They're paid?" I pointed at the tickets.
He beamed. "Of course. It's my treat."
"Okay."
---
It was beautiful! The classroom looked like a museum because of the stunning artworks. Some of them were for sale, while others were for display only and couldn't be touched.
Jude handed me paper and art materials. He gestured for me to sit at a table beside him.
"We chose art. Some of our classmates want to see the artist residing within each student," he said seriously.
"That's profound," I commented while sketching random lines.
He held my hand, which surprised me.
"W-why?"
He stared at me. "Do you have feelings for someone?"
Pft!
I shook my head and pulled away from his grip.
"I-I kinda like you, Luna."
I was dumbfounded by his words.
He likes me? How? Jude Aguirre of 12-A likes me? The topnotcher of our class who's also pursued by many girls likes me?
"No, Jude. Maybe it's just your imagination," I avoided eye contact with him.
He lowered his head and laughed.
"R-right. Imagination."
"You have low standards if that's the case," someone suddenly interrupted us from behind.
SKY?!
Both Jude and I were startled, so Sky pulled me out of the classroom. He brought me to the music room and closed the door.
"SKY?! WHAT'S GOING ON AGAIN?" I shouted.
He just sat down and looked at me.
"I don't understand you. Earlier, you scolded me, then you kissed me, and now you're angry again. Are you playing with me? Do you like me? Huh?" I bombarded him with questions.
"Yes," he replied coldly.
"Wait, what are you answering?" I asked.
He stood up. "The 'huh'."
I almost rolled my eyes at him. This guy is so annoying. It's not amusing.
"I don't want this, Sky." I opened the door.
I heard him walking toward me. He held my shoulder.
"We're not even together, and you're giving up so soon," he whispered.
He walked away from me, leaving me confused. What's happening with him? I can't figure out what he wants from me.
He stopped walking and faced me. He threw an origami rose at me. And...
He smiled at me.
