What awoke Ian from his unconscious state, was not his fellow friends, not the Aswang or the Xanas, it was much worse, a crew that was laying low for the most part had finally taken up their opportunity. Like Anchor, one of them had the ability to sense things to an extreme extent, this is not a power, but it requires users to channel energy to all their senses.
beaten up and bruised Ian could no longer muster any more energy to run away.
"Just like you said Binae, he's beaten down." the Triton members said.
"Gul just get the fairy and let's get out of here"
"Alright" Gul replied, he came closer to Ian to grab the fairy, but suddenly an arm from the ground grabs his feet and stops him from moving. "What the f**k!? Looks like this boy actually got powers, guess you can be wrong sometimes Binae HAHA."
The boy's mark on his forehead glowed red and his body became inflamed, the arm on the ground is then burnt and Gul moves closer to Ian
"get away from me!" Ian yells.
"Come on bud, we haven't held onto the fairy yet, at least give us a few minutes" Gul approaches Ian and grabs onto the fairy, Ian refuses to let go, and Gul inflames his body once again, then he proceeds to kick Ian's head and yanks the fairy out of Ian's arms. "Finally, the Fairy, it is Mine, MWAHAHAHA"
Binae looking disappointed shouts, "Let's get out of here before the others come,"
"hold on I got to taunt this guy more, don't ruin my fun- Where'd he go?" Gul said looking at where Ian was. "he's gone?" Gul then notices a white shine from above him.
"up here Gul" Tyler said laying Ian down on the branch of the tree.
"Tyler, long time no see,"
"Last time We met I remember I was kicking your teeth in," Tyler said, his mark shined crystal white as teleported down the tree, "did they grow back yet, smile let me see"
Immediately Binae jumps to Tyler and throws a head kick, "Run! Gul"
"you hurt my friend really bad, and he's a newbie so that extra pain for you guys"
"It's just part of the game, no hard feelings," Binae replied.
Tyler then teleports behind Binae and hammer fists his head causing Binae to fall face down on the ground, "no hard feelings right?"
From the ground, Binae's mark on his head then glows red, and Tyler Teleports a few meters away, Suddenly the flowing river stops and began to form a giant bubble, then within a blink of an eye the bubble exploded into sharp icy shards,
Tyler smiled as he teleports behind Binae once more, this time Tyler land a head kick at Binae, but it has no effect, his leg went through him like he was made from water. then the shards of ice are launched at Tyler, and Tyler dodges it all with his teleportation.
"blunt force won't work on this guy, I must use an elemental force," Tyler thought to himself, "oh well might as well try it". Tyler then increases his speed of teleportation, every second he teleported 20 times, immediately the area around them began to feel warm, and after 5 seconds Tyler stops and teleports to Binae and punches him, this time Binae is knocked back.
"what the hell did you do?" Binae said wiping off blood from his mouth
Out of breath, Tyler smirks, "So electricity's your weakness" Tyler then begins his sequences of faster teleportations again, thinking to himself, "I got one more then I have to rest for at least 2 minutes"
Binae began to form another giant bubble of water once more as Tyler begins to teleport, this time Binae engulfs the bubble around himself, Tyler then teleports into the bubble to punch Binae however just as Tyler teleported, Binae freezes the entire bubble and traps Tyler in. "Out of energy already?"
The bubble all of a sudden breaks from the electricity and Binae begins throwing kicks and punches at Tyler, Tyler tries his best to keep up, but he is out of breath from using his teleportation.
abruptly from Behind Binae, a veil is casted around him to stop his movements, then an orange blast of energy is shot at him. Binae is blasted onto a tree and spits out blood.
"screw this, I bought that fool enough time anyways," Binae says as he jumps into the river and uses his powers to propel him away.
"Sorry Tyler you got here just a little earlier than us," Kin said helping Tyler up from he ground
"I should've just stayed in the trees"
"wheres the newbie?" Sabrina asked
"Ian's over there, he's burnt on the face and his right side is really badly injured"
"What was Geno Thinking? handing the fairy to a newbie, now we lost it, and the newbie's almost dead"
"did you guys find them?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah, Anchor was on a shore and Jay's crew got him, Geno was hurt and trapped under a tree, and Cona got him" Kin replied. "let's wait for the others here and regroup"
As they regrouped at the river Ian was patched and healed by Cona a girl spirit.
"Call it off," Cona said to Kin.
"What? you're crazy, Why would we call it off now? we're probably first or second" Shawn yelled, "Kin don't call it off"
"well almost half of us are hurt, and we're all tired except for maybe you Shawn" Cona replied
"I'm not tired!" Fiona yelled, "I'm ready!"
"Fiona, Jay said that you couldn't compete against the others"
"Well, he's lying to you Cona!"
"Listen, guys, I'm going to call it off," Kin said to the crew. "Cona's right, most of us are tired and hurt."
"Wha-?!" Shawn said, unpleased.
"However! I'm not calling it off for everyone. If you're not tired and willing to go you can, But! you must be in the top 15, and anchor your coming."
"but he's not top 15!" Fiona yelled.
"he's not but he's useful"
"I'm useful too!"
"barely," Shawn said laughing.
"my decision is final, well have one last chance at it, and that's it."
Kin and all the top 15 left, except for Tyler.
"Why didn't you go Tyler," Jay asked.
"I'm tired,"
"Don't kid us you're just lazy" Fiona heckled.
after a few more hours it began to become dark
Ian laid on the floor with some others and looked at his right arm which was almost fully healed.
"your healing fast," Cona said.
"Really? My body still feels on fire right now"
"your face almost has no burns left,"
Ian touches his face and it stung.
Geno then approaches Ian, "I heard about what happened, but where was the Xana girl?"
"what do you mean?" Ian replied
"The Xana girl you must've faced her right? Anchor said she blasted him while you guys were at the river!"
"The girl, the girl? I can't remember, All I remember was getting to the river and waking up on the tree with the two Tritons"
From the Left of Ian Tyler sat down and said "It is Strange Ian, If there was someone before Those Tritons it would make sense why your entire right side was cut open and not burnt."
"I really can't remember what happened with the girl, maybe those Tritons fought her?"
"no way, they were both uninjured when I first saw them. you thinking what I'm thinking Geno?"
Geno looked at Tyler confused, "No? What are you thinking?"
"he's manifested something, powerful enough to defeat the girl you're talking about at least"
"You're crazy, manifestation on the second day? yeah right, and she was stronger than me! No way that he could've defeated the girl even if he manifested something"
"If only Anchor was here he'd be able to tell if Ian manifested"
"I don't think I did guys, I would remember if I did right?"
"That's right you can remember!" Geno yelled.
"I can?"
"well, not remember, but like feel it! do you feel it?'
"What does it feel like?" Ian asked
"Just concentrate and feel it."
Ian then closes his eyes, he concentrates on trying to feel something, After a while Ian begins to feel the energy around him, he begins to see the energy of the world surging into his body, then suddenly he sees a faceless being, lots and lots of faceless dark beings, they weren't shadows, they weren't souls, they weren't anything he's ever seen before in the world of natural and unnatural, they were unique warriors of Ian's imagination, and in his mind, he touches the being.
gradually, The already dark night became even darker, and Ian's eyes and mark began to become devoid of color, then a dark mist started to surround the entire crew of 20, and everyone began to panic.
"Attack! There's an Attack!" Hue yelled,
Everyone got up and stood their ground no one noticing it was Ian.
eventually, the dark mist stopped and it all rushed towards Ian's eyes and mark.
"holy sh-, it's Ian," Geno said.
everyone gazed at Ian and he became unconscious once more.
