Merlin was in his office; The party had ended a few hours ago. The trio had returned to the inn to collect their belongings and bring them back to the castle. He had offered the help of the knights, but they preferred to handle it on their own.
The trio was on their way to the inn while discussing Merlin. "I found it easier than expected," Inmo rested his arms on his head as he spoke. "Yes, based on his appearance, I didn't expect him to join us on an adventure," Diana said. "Actually, what you saw was just a disguise. Merlin was hiding his true form," explained Luffy. Diana was surprised and grew curious.
When the group returned, they gathered all their belongings and placed them in the carriage. As they were about to return, Luffy mentioned that he needed to buy something. Diana and Franky wanted to wait, but he said he would meet them at the castle since his purchase was a secret.
In Merlin's office, he was making plans for the upcoming battle against Morgaine. A gust of wind swept through, causing the papers on his desk to rustle. "Hmm..." He heard a noise and looked up, diverting his gaze from the map on the table. Before him stood Inmo.
Inmo didn't wait for Merlin and began to speak, "I know you know who I am, Merlin, and I know who you are. I know who your father is as well, but don't worry, what I said during dinner still stands." After speaking, he waited to see Merlin's reaction.
Seeing that he remained calm, Inmo continued, "I hope you won't reveal my true identity to Diana. Due to certain circumstances, I haven't informed her about it yet." Inmo spoke calmly as he looked out the window in Merlin's office.
Merlin, upon hearing this, became slightly nervous, but he still affirmed, "Don't worry, sir, I won't say anything to Diana." Inmo turned, shifting his gaze to Merlin. Recognizing his nervousness, Inmo approached him and said, "You don't need to address me as 'sir.' You can call me Captain. After all, you're now part of my team." Inmo offered a small smile, "Now I must go. See you later." As he said this, the image of Inmo blurred and disappeared.
Merlin, witnessing such speed, contemplated his chances of escaping using his teleportation. It required a certain amount of time to activate, so it probably wouldn't be fast enough. He sighed softly and returned to planning the end of the war, now with Inmo by his side. It was only a matter of time until Morgaine met her demise.
At that moment, Franky and Diana reached the castle entrance. Both began gathering their belongings and taking them to their room. A few minutes later, Inmo arrived at the castle with a guitar strapped to his back. Diana asked, "So, is this what you bought? But what exactly is it?" "This here is a musical instrument, Diana. If there's one thing that can't be missing on a great adventure, it's good music." Inmo demonstrated how it worked by playing a few notes. "Luffy, could you teach me?" "Of course, Diana."
Franky, who saw this, wasn't surprised. He knew that Inmo already had this instrument; Diana hadn't seen it on the boat yet. One of his master's hobbies was singing. When he performed in the Immortal City, everyone considered that day a holiday. Almost everyone stopped to listen.
After the conversation, they entered the castle. Some time later, they joined Merlin to discuss the war. In Merlin's office were the four of them, and Merlin began to speak about their enemy.
"Morgaine le Fey is a very powerful sorceress. She is skilled in dark magic and capable of controlling many formidable beings. But her most deadly power is disintegration. Her touch is fatal to anyone." Merlin spoke calmly, explaining.
"She truly is a formidable enemy," Diana commented after the explanation. Franky added, "Furthermore, she has an army, right, Merlin?"
"Yes, she has an army, but we also have ours." Merlin said this part with confidence.
"I think the four of us are enough to end this war. I have confidence in my powers and in Franky's that we can take care of Morgaine, while you and Diana deal with her army." Inmo, who hadn't spoken until now, expressed his viewpoint.
As always, Franky nodded in agreement with his master. Diana said, "I think it's a good strategy so we don't have to hold back our strength." Merlin, observing this, chuckled. "Yes, indeed, a good idea." Merlin, aware of the strength of his captain, didn't think for a second that Inmo was being arrogant. Now that the strategy was in place, all that remained was to agree on the location and time.
"Morgaine is in a camp near Camelot, hidden in a valley." Merlin continued the conversation.
"We'll attack tomorrow at sunrise." This time, it was Diana who spoke first, her tone filled with excitement as she prepared for her first battle off the island. The others, seeing this, simply agreed; it wouldn't make much of a difference.
With that, they finished the preparations and set off for the battlefield.
