"Wow!" is the first word I said as soon as Grace came out wearing her wedding dress.
I was very happy to see she finally got her wedding dress after trying a few dresses for almost two hours. And she was looking stunning in that dress, a princess cut dress that had a white pearl design on the shoulder portion.
"What do you think Mom?" Grace asked her mother as she looked at herself in the mirror. Mrs. Bianchi got emotional and tears started welling up in her eyes.
"You look stunning my darling." She replied with a smile on her lips and happy tears in her eyes.
"Yeah, you look beautiful dear." Mr. Bianchi said while he too got emotional looking at their daughter in her wedding dress.
"Okay stop crying both of you or I won't be able to control myself," Grace said with a light chuckle.
While I was wandering through the dresses, I set my eyes on one. It was a beautiful mermaid cut dress, off the shoulder with a little white diamond design on top of it.
"You should try it out," Grace said
"No, we are here for your wedding dress, not for mine."
"Yeah, but I already got mine. Come on, just try it, you will look beautiful in that dress." She said as I was already in love with the dress, I agreed.
"Okay"
"Yeah, I will be here waiting for you. Okay."
I took the dress and went to the dressing room. After changing, I smiled brightly as it fitted my curves perfectly. Getting out of the changing room I went to the main hall and stood in front of the big mirror.
Like every girl, I too dreamt of getting married one day and I still do. I looked beautiful in that dress which made me a little emotional. I took off my hair bow and let my hair down.
Hearing footsteps, I turned around to see Liam. His eyes widened as soon as he saw me. He looked me up and down with awe in his expression which made me blush like a teenager.
"Wow, you look…. You look beautiful," he said which made me blush harder and smile at the same time.
"Oh. My. God.!" Grace said as she and Aiden entered the room with surprised expressions.
"You look ravishing. It looks like the dress is designed for you. You look perfect in it, Ava." She hugged me tightly.
"Thank you," I said, smiling hugely.
"We need to buy it!" she shouted
"What? No!" I protested
"Yes, we are buying it. You look amazing in that dress." Aiden said
"No, I am not getting married soon. So, it would be just a waste of money." I tried to convince them. As much as I wanted to buy it, I didn't. Because indeed, I am not getting married anytime soon and it will be useless to buy a wedding dress right now.
"Please Ava, you have to. What if you decide to get married and you don't find a perfect dress for it?" Grace said which had zero impact on my decision.
"Okay let's not force her Grace. It's her decision." Aiden said and I mouthed him 'Thank you. That's the reason I love him, he is just like a brother to me who knows what and when to do.
"Okay," Grace said with a huff and a pout, finally giving up.
As Grace and Aiden left the room, Liam stared at me for a minute before leaving, like he was soaking me in his eyes or tracing the moment in his memory. Maybe both.
