My job is from 9 am till 8 pm. It is a tiring job. However, once I reach home, the only thing I do is play games. I love all types of games, but I am especially interested in mmorpg games. The one I loved was known as Void Landers

I have been playing this game for about two hours after arriving home. Suddenly, the screen went black and all the light turned off.

"Did I forget to pay my bills?" I wondered as I went to my balcony.

I lived on the tenth floor of my building. So, the view from the balcony of my floor is amazing!

"Huh? Is it a blackout? There is no light in the whole city."

As I was pondering around, trying to figure out what just happened, my eyes went to the abnormal view of the sky.

"Northern lights? No, there can't be northern lights over here…, right?"

I finally realized, it was not a beautiful view of the northern lights, is the sky was cracking? Soon, the sky just shattered as a bright light blinded me temporarily.

I opened my eyes to see that I was in a totally different place! It felt awfully similar but I know I've never been to this place before. Ah, I get it. I AM INSIDE VOID LANDERS THE GAME!!

What the hell is going on? I still have my same old body but in a different world? Okay, I need to calm down. I need to ask someone about what's going on.

"Ah, excuse me, miss, do you know what this place is called?"

"The place we're in right now is Valgoad."

I knew it.

"Thanks for the info, miss."

"Sure!"

This place I am in is Valgoad which is the beginning area of Void Landers. I can't believe it!

This is a world of magic, dungeons and other amazing things! Well, since I know that this is Void Landers now, I know that I would have to use my gaming experience to progress.

Well, first thing's first. Gotta get registered to the adventurers guild so that I can get the license to leave this place and embark on an adventure. Ancient artifacts and other magical items hold a lot of value. Usually, one magical diamond ore would be enough to buy a house and live two years easily. Artifact hunting, however, pays much more. Each dungeon is divided into various layers. Once you enter the dungeon, and clear the first layer to enter the next layer. The deepest layer will have the deadliest creatures with the artifact. The last layer is also the layer where the 'boss' is. Which means you have to defeat the boss and exfiltrate safely after taking the artifact. In some rare scenarios, there are more than one artifact.

The NPCs are no longer NPCs either. They are real humans. I have to take this more seriously now. This is no longer just a game. Lives matter.

'Alrighty, time to head to the adventurers guild.' I thought as I navigated to the adventurers guild. I walked inside and went to the register.

"Hello, how may I help you, sir?"

"Hey, I am looking to join the adventurers guild."

"Sure! Please fill up this form, this is the registration form."

She handed me a registration form asking me for various details. Assuming I'm just starting out in the game, I decided to fill in all the information and use the same name - 'Hevop'

Okay! First step's done. I'm finally an official adventurer! It would be easier to take a quest from the adventurers guild rather than dungeon crawling because my stats are practically zero at this point.

The ranking of the guild went like this - Bronze-Novice, Bronze-intermediate, Bronze-Advanced, Silver-Novice, Silver-intermediate, Silver-Advanced, Gold-Novice, Gold-Intermediate, Gold-Advanced and Gold-Master. This is not the end though. After reaching Gold-Master rank, people can further increase their ranks to Legends, which is divided into 10 tiers. Legend I, Legend II, Legend III, Legend IV, Legend V, Legend VI and so on… After reaching the Legend X tier, there are two more legend ranks, Legend-Sage, Legend-God. People barely ever climb to the ranks of gold even. Going to Legend-God tier is a pretty hopeless dream for all. However, since I played this game for a long time, I know that there is a secret last level in the adventurers guild, Void Legend. I, along with one of my best buds, used to be a Void Legend.

I played this game for years so I know many things which only the game devs knew about. This information will be essential here! For the first time ever, I was glad that I was so addicted to this game.

I went on a quest to hunt a few rabbits. This looked like the perfect opportunity for testing out my magic skills and increasing my mana. The higher level monsters I kill, the more exp I get. After reaching a set amount of exp, I level up and increase my mana, stamina, and physical strength.

I went into the forest to find rabbits. I found my targets earlier than expected. I instinctively tried to use light magic to make an arrow.

"Not enough exp!"

A message popped up like a menu bar floating in front of me.

Makes sense… I clicked on the okay button.

"Void Legend, Hevop, would you like to recover your previous data?"

Huh?! I got the option to recover the data from back when I was a Void Legend? This is great!

"Yes!"

"Initializing recovery."

How do I explain this to the adventurers guild though?!

[SYSTEM: DATA RECOVERY INITIALIZED, ESTIMATED TIME REQUIRED: 2 HOURS]

Didn't expect that. Well, I was given a bow and arrow so let's just hunt with that for now. Due to my habits of spamming light arrows, I accidentally tried to cast a high tier light magic spell even though I had bow and arrows for completing my task.

I took the bow with my right hand and picked an arrow with my left hand. I delicately placed the arrow on the string of the bow and started drawing. I aimed at the rabbits and… One shot - two kills! I'm a beginner level character, but I used to be the Legend of the Void, don't underestimate me!

Alright, three more to go!

I hunted five rabbits for my quest and brought them to the guild master for my reward of 10 gold coins. 10 gold coins would be like 100 USD. Getting a hundred bucks for hunting five rabbits is a steal in my opinion.

Okay, I'm done with my quest. There's just 15 minutes left for the data recovery. I guess I'm gonna take a stroll around the town.

After walking around for a bit, I went to a blacksmith I used to go to.

"Ains! How are you?"

Ains was my friend in Void Landers, he was my best friend and we used to be on equal level, we were the Void Legends. However, that's in the past now. Surprisingly, I found him at the blacksmith location.

"I'm fine, waaaiit, Hevop?!"

"That's right!"

"Dude! How've you been?! Did you also get transferred?"

"Yeah. I actually got inside the game somehow."

"Haha, me too. Good-bye to our ranks and skills though!"

"Yeah. We used to wander around in black robes with a touch of gold. The stuff we used to wear was really expensive and looked magnificent."

"Yeah, it's a shame we don't get it back."

"I'm kinda surprised how you're taking this reincarnation thing so lightly."

"I mean there's nothing to do about it."

"That's true. What brings you to the blacksmith though? New weapons? Perhaps armor?"

"Haha, both actually!"

Suddenly, I got a notification from the system.

"Data Recovered."

My body was covered with light as I got my previous stats and items back. As my previous flashy clothing was back on, Ains instantly noticed it.

"Hevop?! How'd you pull that off?!"

"Hehe…. It's a long story. Come with me, I'll help you recover your previous data as well."
