I showed Ains the method of recovering the data.
"Ains, do you remember all of the spells you could do back then?"
"How can I forget what weapons I use!"
"Okay, that's gonna be helpful. As you are now, you should barely be able to use any of the magic spells you could before, right?"
"Yeah… What're you getting at?"
"Try using an advanced spell which is impossible to perform for you now."
"Okay, ENFORCE ARMAMENT…, Hevop I got a warning message saying my level is too low."
"Dude, you didn't have to go overboard, even something as simple as light magic would do in this case. Well, just click on the 'next' button and see what happens."
"Ah, there it is! Recover! Huh? An hour!?"
"Be thankful, it took me two."
"Damn, you're patient, Hevop."

The fact that he is taking less time than me is probably because he has less items in his inventory. To be honest, in a duel, it would mostly be either a draw or a victory for me, Ains never ever won against me even though he can use the same techniques. Well, that's just how the man is behind the machine.
"By the way, did you register to the guild after coming here, Ains?"
"Dude, how long ago do you think we got transferred here? How can I do all that in such a short time. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly happened after the sky shattering crap!"
"I already got registered as an adventurer though"
Ains looked at me like I was some sort of a carefree insane monster
"What's with that look!?"
"Dude, how're you gonna explain it to the guildmaster when you suddenly get all OP?"
"Yeah, it's gonna be a bit of a problem y'see…"

I took Ains to the adventurers guild and got him registered. I kept my identity hidden for now. We rented the room for tonight and went to our room.
"It's the same as the game!"
"Tell me about it!"
"I should check how Kage's been doing."
"Go ahead, Hevop!"
"Shadow summoning: DEATH INCARNATE!"
I casted a summoning spell to summon Kage who was made of shadow.
"How may I be of service to you, master?"
Kage said as he emerged from the darkness of the floor.
Yeah, he seems to be fine.
"I have no orders for you right now, I just summoned you to check on you. You may leave."
"Yes, master."
Why is the door to our room slightly opened?
"Guild master, is that you?!"
I was right, the guild master saw the whole thing. I told him everything since he already found out.
"I can't believe you're back, Dragon God, Hevop! And also Shadow God, Ains!"
"We're back!"
"Yep! What he said!"
Dragon God and Shadow God was the title given to us as the strongest adventurers. I'm the Dragon God and Ains, my bud, is the Shadow God. He was given the title 'Shadow God' as he preferred a more stealthier approach. I was called 'Dragon God' probably 'cause I'm more comfortable fighting head on.
"However, I shall warn you. Your name has been stained."
"Huh?!"
"You used to be the heroes till you were killed. As you died in the battle, fighting for the world, you were given the description of a person who saved the world and its people. However, someone altered time and history. In other words, people no longer remember you as the legends you used to be. Instead, the people who you fought with for the sake of peace, Avos, are recognized as the hero and you are recognized as Avos and are cursed by people for starting the war. As a result, only the people who truly cared about you and were truly loyal to you remember your truth."
"What?!"
"I didn't expect this situation…"
"Guild master, could we ask you to keep this matter secret? We'll be going on an adventure tomorrow." I asked.
"I see, I'll make sure word does not leave this room. Please return safely."
"Thanks."
"Well then, I'll take my leave, Void Legends- Ah…"
"What's wrong, guild master?"
Someone entered the room. They clearly heard it all. A girl with long and silky ruby hair and beautiful sapphire eyes, a delicate looking beautiful yet strong girl. That is Alice, my former strategist and ninja. My closest and most trustworthy subordinate.
"Alice!"
"Master!" She cried as she ran towards me and embraced me tightly.
"Master! I missed you! Why did you leave me?!"
"I'm sorry, Alice. But I'm back now. I see that you haven't forgotten me."
I put my arms around her delicate yet muscular back and said,
"Alice, I get it. Please stop crying now"
"..."
"Master! Please let me accompany you in this adventure!"
"Please let me join as well, master!" said the guild master.
"Alice you can come along but wait guild master?! What will happen to the adventurers guild?!"
"Master, please don't worry about that. I have always kept measures for a day like this! I have already arranged one of my most trustworthy people to take this job in my stead. Besides, I am a guild master now, however my primary identity is your butler!'
"Well, if you're gonna be like that then you might as well join."
Suddenly a joyous and relieved smile appeared on their faces.
"Thank you, master!"
"Thank you, master!"
"Have a goodnight, master."
Satisfied, they both left my room.
Strength-wise they could be ranked Legend-Sage or Legend-God tier. They were my reliable subordinates and the guardians of my mansion.
"Yo, Ains, I think we should call it a day."
"Alright! Wait there's just one bed. Don't tell me…"
"We don't have a choice so quit complaining, Ains!"
"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

"We're supposed to leave for an adventure today, so start preparing already!"

"SHUT UP AND START PREPARING OR I'LL BURN YOUR ASS WITH FIRE MAGIC!"

He sure seemed to take that to heart.
"By the way, Hevop, on a more serious note, where are we headed to?"
"Home."
"Hevop, you don't mean…"
"Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Mansion Staria"
Staria used to be our Mansion. It is a giant mansion. It used to be the place where me and Ains used to live. The butler of the mansion was Ken. Alice was my strategist, ninja and the commander of the rest of my subordinates. We had other subordinates but Alice, along with a few other subordinates of mine, and Ken, our butler, were the only ones who survived the war…
"Well we both keep everything in our portable magical storage right? Then what do we have to prepare for?"
"You have a point."
"Right? So then… WHY THE HELL DID YOU WAKE ME UP AT SIX?!"
"Dunno."
"This piece of… Well whatever, when're you planning to leave?"
"Seven. Also put away those shiny clothes and put them in the magic storage. We can't afford to give away our identity; it would cause an outrage if people were to find out that we're back, afterall, we're supposed to be dead."
"I know, I know."
We may be the strongest player of the game, however there are still enemies far stronger than us. We're planning to disguise ourselves and head out on an adventure to find the mysteries of the world, afterall, we found out that the world has expanded with the new update. What we didn't know is that me and Ains would be one of the 'features' of this update. We have to become even stronger if we wanna survive the wilderness.
